Ezequiel 1

Certo dia, no quinto dia do quarto mês do trigésimo ano, eu, o sacerdote Ezequiel, estava entre os exilados, junto ao rio Quebar. E aconteceu que o céu se abriu de repente, e Deus me mostrou muitas visões.

Y FUÉ que á los treinta años, en el mes cuarto, á cinco del mes, estando yo en medio de los trasportados junto al río de Chebar, los cielos se abrieron, y vi visiones de Dios.

A palavra do Senhor veio ao sacerdote Ezequiel, filho de Buzi, junto ao rio Quebar. E a mão do Senhor esteve sobre ele.

Fué palabra de Jehová á Ezequiel sacerdote, hijo de Buzi, en la tierra de los Caldeos, junto al río de Chebar; fué allí sobre él la mano de Jehová.

The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

Nessa visão, uma grande tempestade vinha do norte em minha direção. A tempestade empurrava uma grande nuvem, muito brilhante, carregada de fogo. Dentro da nuvem, no meio do fogo, havia algo que brilhava como bronze bem polido.

Y miré, y he aquí un viento tempestuoso venía del aquilón, una gran nube, con un fuego envolvente, y en derredor suyo un resplandor, y en medio del fuego una cosa que parecía como de ámbar,

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Do centro dessa nuvem surgiram quatro criaturas semelhantes a seres viventes. A forma delas era de gente,

Y en medio de ella, figura de cuatro animales. Y este era su parecer; había en ellos semejanza de hombre.

e cada criatura tinha quatro rostos e quatro asas!

As suas pernas eram retas; seus pés tinham cascos de boi que brilhavam como se fossem de metal.

Além disso, debaixo das suas asas eu pude ver mãos humanas. As quatro criaturas eram todas iguais, com rostos e asas,

e as asas de cada ser tocavam nas pontas das asas de outro ser; moviam-se sempre para a frente, sem se virarem.

Con las alas se juntaban el uno al otro. No se volvían cuando andaban; cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro.

O primeiro rosto dessas criaturas era de homem; o rosto da direita era de leão, o da esquerda era de boi, e o de trás era rosto de águia.

Duas asas de cada criatura se abriam para cima e tocavam as asas das criaturas que estavam ao seu lado; e com as outras duas asas elas cobriam seus corpos.

Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

Elas se moviam na direção em que o Espírito queria, sempre para a frente, e sem se virar para os lados.

Y cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro: hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; cuando andaban, no se volvían.

And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

As quatro criaturas eram brilhantes como brasas acesas, como uma tocha. Entre elas corria um fogo muito brilhante, do qual saíam relâmpagos e faíscas.

As criaturas voavam em todas as direções, rápidas como relâmpagos.

Depois de ter visto tudo isso, vi quatro rodas no chão, uma ao lado de cada criatura.

As rodas pareciam feitas de um metal dourado e brilhante. Eram todas semelhantes, e parecia haver uma outra roda dentro de cada uma delas.

As rodas podiam andar em qualquer direção, sem precisar fazer curvas ou voltas.

Os aros das rodas me deixaram impressionado porque eram altos, e estavam cheios de olhos ao seu redor.

As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

Quando as criaturas se moviam para a frente, as rodas se moviam para a frente. Quando as criaturas subiam, as rodas também subiam.

As criaturas e as rodas iam sempre na direção em que o Espírito queria.

Hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; hacia donde era el espíritu que anduviesen, las ruedas también se levantaban tras ellos; porque el espíritu de los animales estaba en las ruedas.

Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Acima das criaturas, havia uma superfície brilhante como cristal, parecida com uma cobertura curva, reluzente como um cristal, que me deixou muito impressionado.

Y sobre las cabezas de cada animal aparecía expansión á manera de cristal maravilloso, extendido encima sobre sus cabezas.

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

As asas das criaturas estavam estendidas por debaixo daquela superfície e tocando umas nas outras. As outras duas asas de cada criatura cobriam seus corpos.

Y debajo de la expansión estaban las alas de ellos derechas la una á la otra; á cada uno dos, y otras dos con que se cubrían sus cuerpos.

And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

Quando elas voavam, o barulho de suas asas parecia o som das ondas do mar quebrando na praia; parecia a própria voz do Deus Todo-poderoso, de um tropel de um grande exército em marcha. Quando as criaturas paravam, abaixavam suas asas.

And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

Eu ouvia uma voz que vinha daquela superfície brilhante acima das cabeças das criaturas, enquanto ficavam de asas fechadas.

Y cuando se paraban y aflojaban sus alas, oíase voz de arriba de la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas.

And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

E, sobre essa superfície brilhante, havia alguma coisa parecida com um trono azul, feito de safira. Assentado no trono estava alguém que se parecia com um homem!

Y sobre la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas, veíase la figura de un trono que parecía de piedra de zafiro; y sobre la figura del trono había una semejanza que parecía de hombre sentado sobre él.

And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
