Ezequiel 1

En el año trigésimo, en el mes cuarto, a cinco del mes, sucedió que estando yo en medio de los cautivos junto al río Cobar, se me abrieron los cielos, y tuve visiones divinas, o extraordinarias.

Y FUÉ que á los treinta años, en el mes cuarto, á cinco del mes, estando yo en medio de los trasportados junto al río de Chebar, los cielos se abrieron, y vi visiones de Dios.

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

A cinco del mes, en el quinto año después de haber sido trasladado a Babilonia el rey Joaquín, o Jeconías,

dirigió el Señor su palabra a Ezequiel sacerdote, hijo de Buzi, en la tierra de los caldeos, junto al río Cobar; y allí se hizo sentir sobre él la mano o virtud de Dios.

Fué palabra de Jehová á Ezequiel sacerdote, hijo de Buzi, en la tierra de los Caldeos, junto al río de Chebar; fué allí sobre él la mano de Jehová.

The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

Y miré, y he aquí que venía del norte un torbellino de viento, y una gran nube, y un fuego que se revolvía dentro de la nube, y un resplandor alrededor de ella; y en su centro, esto es, en medio del fuego, una imagen de un personaje, tan brillante como de ámbar.

Y miré, y he aquí un viento tempestuoso venía del aquilón, una gran nube, con un fuego envolvente, y en derredor suyo un resplandor, y en medio del fuego una cosa que parecía como de ámbar,

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Y en medio de aquel fuego se veía una semejanza de cuatro animales; la apariencia de los cuales era la siguiente: Había en ellos algo que se parecía al hombre.

Y en medio de ella, figura de cuatro animales. Y este era su parecer; había en ellos semejanza de hombre.

Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

Cada uno tenía cuatro caras y cuatro alas.

Sus pies eran derechos como los de un hombre, y la planta de sus pies como la planta del pie de un becerro, y despedían centellas, como se ve en un acero muy encendido.

And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

Debajo de sus alas, a los cuatro lados, había manos de hombre; y tenían caras y alas por los cuatro lados.

And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

Y se juntaban las alas del uno con las del otro. No se volvían cuando andaban, sino que cada uno caminaba adelante según la dirección de su rostro.

Con las alas se juntaban el uno al otro. No se volvían cuando andaban; cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro.

Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

Por lo que hace a su rostro, todos cuatro lo tenían de hombre, y todos cuatro tenían una cara de león a su lado derecho; al lado izquierdo tenían todos cuatro una cara de buey; y en la parte de arriba tenían todos cuatro una cara de águila.

Y la figura de sus rostros era rostro de hombre; y rostro de león á la parte derecha en los cuatro; y á la izquierda rostro de buey en los cuatro; asimismo había en los cuatro rostro de águila.

As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

Sus caras y sus alas miraban y se extendían hacia lo alto, se juntaban por la punta dos alas de cada uno, y con las otras dos cubrían sus cuerpos.

Tales eran sus rostros; y tenían sus alas extendidas por encima, cada uno dos, las cuales se juntaban; y las otras dos cubrían sus cuerpos.

Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

Y andaba cada uno de ellos según la dirección de su rostro, a donde les llevaba el ímpetu del espíritu, allá iban; y no se volvían para caminar.

Y cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro: hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; cuando andaban, no se volvían.

And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

Each one went straight forward. Where the spirit was to go, they went. They didn’t turn when they went.

Y estos animales a la vista parecían como ascuas de ardiente fuego, y como hachas encendidas. Se veía discurrir por en medio de los animales un resplandor de fuego, y salir del fuego relámpagos.

Cuanto á la semejanza de los animales, su parecer era como de carbones de fuego encendidos, como parecer de hachones encendidos: discurría entre los animales; y el fuego resplandecía, y del fuego salían relámpagos.

As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Y los animales iban y volvían a manera de resplandecientes relámpagos.

Y los animales corrían y tornaban á semejanza de relámpagos.

Y mientras estaba yo mirando los animales, apareció una rueda sobre la tierra, junto a cada uno de los animales, la cual tenía cuatro caras o frentes;

Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.

y las ruedas y la materia de ellas eran a la vista como del color del mar; y todas cuatro eran semejantes, y su forma y su estructura eran como de una rueda que está en medio de otra rueda.

Y el parecer de las ruedas y su obra semejábase al color del topacio. Y las cuatro tenían una misma semejanza: su apariencia y su obra como rueda en medio de rueda.

The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Caminaban constantemente por sus cuatro lados, y no se volvían cuando andaban.

Cuando andaban, se movían sobre sus cuatro costados: no se volvían cuando andaban.

Asimismo las ruedas tenían tal circunferencia y altura, que causaba espanto verlas; y toda la circunferencia de todas cuatro estaba llena de ojos por todas partes.

Y sus cercos eran altos y espantosos, y llenos de ojos alrededor en las cuatro.

As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

Y caminando los animales, andaban igualmente también las ruedas junto o detrás de ellos; y cuando los animales se levantaban de la tierra, se levantaban también del mismo modo las ruedas con ellos.

Y cuando los animales andaban, las ruedas andaban junto á ellos: y cuando los animales se levantaban de la tierra, las ruedas se levantaban.

And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

A cualquier parte donde iba el espíritu, allá se dirigían también en pos de él las ruedas, porque había en las ruedas espíritu de vida.

Hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; hacia donde era el espíritu que anduviesen, las ruedas también se levantaban tras ellos; porque el espíritu de los animales estaba en las ruedas.

Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Andaban las ruedas si los animales andaban; se paraban si ellos se paraban, y levantándose ellos de la tierra, se levantaban también las ruedas en pos de ellos; porque había en las ruedas espíritu de vida.

Cuando ellos andaban, andaban ellas; y cuando ellos se paraban, se paraban ellas; asimismo cuando se levantaban de la tierra, las ruedas se levantaban tras ellos; porque el espíritu de los animales estaba en las ruedas.

When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Y sobre las cabezas de los animales, había una semejanza de firmamento, que parecía a la vista un cristal estupendo; el cual estaba extendido arriba por encima de sus cabezas.

Y sobre las cabezas de cada animal aparecía expansión á manera de cristal maravilloso, extendido encima sobre sus cabezas.

And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

Over the head of the living creature there was the likeness of an expanse, like an awesome crystal to look at, stretched out over their heads above.

Debajo del firmamento, se veían las alas de ellos extendidas, tocando el ala del uno a la del otro, y cubriendo cada cual su cuerpo con las otras dos alas, se cubría cada uno del mismo modo.

Y debajo de la expansión estaban las alas de ellos derechas la una á la otra; á cada uno dos, y otras dos con que se cubrían sus cuerpos.

And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

Y oía yo el ruido de las alas como ruido de muchas aguas, como trueno del excelso Dios; así que caminaban, el ruido era semejante al de un gran gentío, o como ruido de un ejército; y así que paraban, bajaban sus alas.

Y oí el sonido de sus alas cuando andaban, como sonido de muchas aguas, como la voz del Omnipotente, como ruido de muchedumbre, como la voz de un ejército. Cuando se paraban, aflojaban sus alas.

And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

Porque cuando salía una voz sobre el firmamento que estaba encima de sus cabezas, ellos se paraban y bajaban sus alas.

Y cuando se paraban y aflojaban sus alas, oíase voz de arriba de la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas.

And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

There was a voice above the expanse that was over their heads. When they stood, they let down their wings.

Y había sobre el firmamento que estaba encima de sus cabezas, como un trono de piedra de zafiro, y sobre aquella especie de trono había la figura como de un personaje.

Y sobre la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas, veíase la figura de un trono que parecía de piedra de zafiro; y sobre la figura del trono había una semejanza que parecía de hombre sentado sobre él.

And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

Y yo vi su aspecto como una especie de electro resplandeciente, y a manera de fuego dentro de él, y alrededor de su cintura hasta arriba; y desde la cintura abajo vi como un fuego ardiente que resplandecía alrededor.

Y vi apariencia como de ámbar, como apariencia de fuego dentro de ella en contorno, por el aspecto de sus lomos para arriba; y desde sus lomos para abajo, vi que parecía como fuego, y que tenía resplandor alrededor.

And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

I saw as it were glowing metal, as the appearance of fire within it all around, from the appearance of his waist and upward; and from the appearance of his waist and downward I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and there was brightness around him.

Cual aparece el arco iris cuando se halla en una nube en día lluvioso, tal era el aspecto del resplandor que se veía alrededor del trono.

Cual parece el arco del cielo que está en las nubes el día que llueve, así era el parecer del resplandor alrededor. Esta fué la visión de la semejanza de la gloria de Jehová. Y luego que yo la hube visto, caí sobre mi rostro, y oí voz de uno que hablaba.

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the LORD’s glory. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
