Aber ich handelte (tat, machte) um meines Namens willen damit er nicht entweiht würde (um nicht entweiht zu werden) vor den Augen der Fremdvölker (Völker, Nationen), vor deren Augen ich sie herausführte.

Pero en atención á mi nombre hice porque no se infamase á la vista de las gentes, delante de cuyos ojos los saqué.

But I wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.
