Mas, novamente, para proteger a honra do meu nome da zombaria dos povos que me tinham visto libertar Israel do Egito, não destruí o povo. Aí as outras nações diriam: ‘Ele não foi capaz de cuidar de Israel e, por isso, o destruiu’.

Pero en atención á mi nombre hice porque no se infamase á la vista de las gentes, delante de cuyos ojos los saqué.

But I wrought for my name’s sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

But I worked for my name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations, in whose sight I brought them out.
