»Menschensohn, richte deine Blicke nach Süden zu, predige gegen Mittag hin und weissage gegen den Wald, der im Gefilde des Südlandes liegt,
Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro contra Jerusalem, y derrama palabra sobre los santuarios, y profetiza sobre la tierra de Israel;
Son of man, set thy face toward Jerusalem, and drop thy word toward the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,
“Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and preach toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel.
und sprich zu dem Walde im Südland: ›Höre das Wort des HERRN! So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Siehe, ich will ein Feuer in dir anzünden, das soll alle saftreichen und alle dürren Bäume in dir verzehren; die lodernde Flamme soll nicht erlöschen, und alle Gesichter vom Südland bis zum Norden sollen durch sie versengt werden!
Y dirás á la tierra de Israel: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí, que yo contra ti, y sacaré mi espada de su vaina, y talaré de ti al justo y al impío.
And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my sword out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked.
Tell the land of Israel, ‘The LORD says: “Behold, I am against you, and will draw my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.
Dann wird alles Fleisch einsehen, daß ich, der HERR, sie angezündet habe, indem sie nicht erlischt.‹«
Y por cuanto he de talar de ti al justo y al impío, por tanto, mi espada saldrá de su vaina contra toda carne, desde el mediodía hasta el aquilón:
Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north:
Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore my sword will go out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north.
Da entgegnete ich: »Ach, HERR, mein Gott! Die Leute sagen von mir: ›Trägt der nicht immer Rätselreden vor?‹«
Y sabrá toda carne que yo Jehová saqué mi espada de su vaina; no volverá más.
That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my sword out of his sheath: it shall not return any more.
All flesh will know that I, the LORD, have drawn my sword out of its sheath. It will not return any more.”’
Da erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
Y tú, hijo del hombre, gime con quebrantamiento de lomos, y con amargura; gime delante de los ojos de ellos.
Sigh therefore, thou son of man, with the breaking of thy loins; and with bitterness sigh before their eyes.
“Therefore sigh, you son of man. You shall sigh before their eyes with a broken heart and with bitterness.
»Menschensohn, richte deine Blicke auf Jerusalem, predige gegen ihr Heiligtum und weissage gegen das Land Israel!
Y será, que cuando te dijeren: ¿Por qué gimes tú? dirás: Por la fama que viene; y todo corazón se desleirá, y todas manos se debilitarán, y angustiaráse todo espíritu, y todas rodillas se irán en aguas: he aquí que viene, y hacerse ha, dice el Señor Jehová.
And it shall be, when they say unto thee, Wherefore sighest thou? that thou shalt answer, For the tidings; because it cometh: and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, and shall be brought to pass, saith the Lord GOD.
It shall be, when they ask you, ‘Why do you sigh?’ that you shall say, ‘Because of the news, for it comes! Every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says the Lord GOD.’”
Sage zum Lande Israel: ›So hat der HERR gesprochen: Siehe, ich will an dich! Ich will mein Schwert aus der Scheide ziehen und Gerechte wie Gottlose in dir ausrotten!
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Weil ich beide, Gerechte wie Gottlose, in dir ausrotten will, darum soll mein Schwert aus der Scheide fahren gegen alles Fleisch vom Südland bis zum Norden.
Hijo del hombre, profetiza, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Di: La espada, la espada está afilada, y aun acicalada;
Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A sword, a sword is sharpened, and also furbished:
“Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘The LORD says: “A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.
Dann wird alle Welt erkennen, daß ich, der HERR, mein Schwert aus der Scheide habe herausfahren lassen, und es nicht wieder dahin zurückkehrt.‹«
Para degollar víctimas está afilada, acicalada está para que relumbre. ¿Hemos de alegrarnos? A la vara de mi hijo viene menospreciando todo árbol.
It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter; it is furbished that it may glitter: should we then make mirth? it contemneth the rod of my son, as every tree.
It is sharpened that it may make a slaughter. It is polished that it may be as lightning. Should we then make mirth? The rod of my son condemns every tree.
»Du aber, Menschensohn, seufze! Mit zusammenbrechenden Hüften und in bitterem Schmerz seufze vor ihren Augen!
Y dióla á acicalar para tenerla á mano: la espada está afilada, y acicalada está ella, para entregarla en mano del matador.
And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this sword is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer.
It is given to be polished, that it may be handled. The sword is sharpened. Yes, it is polished to give it into the hand of the killer.”’
Wenn sie dich dann fragen, worüber du seufzest, so antworte ihnen: ›Über eine Schreckenskunde! Bei ihrem Eintreffen werden alle Herzen verzagen und alle Arme schlaff herabhängen; aller Mut wird schwinden, und alle Knie werden wie Wasser zerfließen.‹ Fürwahr, es kommt und geht in Erfüllung!« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
Clama y aulla, oh hijo del hombre; porque ésta será sobre mi pueblo, será ella sobre todos los príncipes de Israel. Temores de espada serán á mi pueblo: por tanto, hiere el muslo;
Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the sword shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh.
Cry and wail, son of man; for it is on my people. It is on all the princes of Israel. They are delivered over to the sword with my people. Therefore beat your thigh.
Hierauf erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
Porque está probado. ¿Y qué, si la espada desprecia aun el cetro? El no será más, dice el Señor Jehová.
Because it is a trial, and what if the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD.
“For there is a trial. What if even the rod that condemns will be no more?” says the Lord GOD.
»Menschensohn, verkünde folgende Weissagung: So hat der HERR gesprochen: Sprich zu ihnen: ›Ein Schwert, ein Schwert ist geschärft und auch gefegt;
Tú pues, hijo del hombre, profetiza y bate una mano con otra, y dóblese la espada la tercera vez, la espada de muertos: ésta es espada de gran matanza que los penetrará,
Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together, and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the slain: it is the sword of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers.
“You therefore, son of man, prophesy, and strike your hands together. Let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the fatally wounded. It is the sword of the great one who is fatally wounded, which enters into their rooms.
um ein Schlachten anzurichten, dazu ist es geschärft: damit es blitzt und blinkt, dazu ist es gefegt. Oder sollen wir uns freuen? Die für meinen Sohn bestimmte Rute verachtet alles Holz.
Para que el corazón desmaye, y los estragos se multipliquen: en todas las puertas de ellos he puesto espanto de espada. ¡Ah! dispuesta está para que relumbre, y aderezada para degollar.
I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.
I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied. Ah! It is made as lightning. It is pointed for slaughter.
Er hat es zum Fegen hingegeben, um es in die Hand zu nehmen; es ist geschärft worden, das Schwert, und gefegt, damit man es dem Würger in die Hand gebe.‹
Ponte á una parte, ponte á la diestra, ó ponte á la siniestra, hacia donde tu rostro se determinare.
Go thee one way or other, either on the right hand, or on the left, whithersoever thy face is set.
Gather yourselves together. Go to the right. Set yourselves in array. Go to the left, wherever your face is set.
Schreie und wehklage, Menschensohn! Denn dieses Schwert richtet sich gegen mein Volk, richtet sich gegen alle Fürsten Israels: dem Schwert verfallen sind sie samt meinem Volk! Darum schlage dich auf die Hüften,
Y yo también batiré mi mano con mi mano, y haré reposar mi ira. Yo Jehová he hablado.
I will also smite mine hands together, and I will cause my fury to rest: I the LORD have said it.
I will also strike my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest. I, the LORD, have spoken it.”
denn die Probe ist gemacht! Aber wie, wenn die Rute selber (das Dreinhauen) verschmäht? Es soll nicht geschehen!« – lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.

»Du aber, Menschensohn, weissage und schlage die Hände zusammen! Denn das Schwert wird zweifach, ja dreifach kommen. Ein Mordschwert ist es, ein großes Mordschwert, das sie umkreisen soll,
Y tú, hijo del hombre, señálate dos caminos por donde venga la espada del rey de Babilonia: de una misma tierra salgan ambos: y echa mano á la suerte: en el principio del camino de la ciudad lo harás.
Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city.
“Also, you son of man, appoint two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come. They both will come out of one land, and mark out a place. Mark it out at the head of the way to the city.
damit ihre Herzen verzagen und viele tot hinstürzen an all ihren Toren. Ich lasse blinken das Schwert. Wehe! Zum Blitzen ist es gefertigt, zum Schlachten geschärft!
El camino señalarás por donde venga la espada á Rabba de los hijos de Ammón, y á Judá contra Jerusalem la fuerte.
Appoint a way, that the sword may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced.
You shall appoint a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.
Setze in Schrecken, fahre nach rechts, kehre dich nach links, wohin eben deine Schneide gerichtet ist!
Porque el rey de Babilonia se paró en una encrucijada, al principio de dos caminos, para tomar adivinación: acicaló saetas, consultó en ídolos, miró el hígado.
For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: he made his arrows bright, he consulted with images, he looked in the liver.

So will denn auch ich meine Hände zusammenschlagen und meinem Zorn freien Lauf lassen: ich, der HERR, habe es gesprochen!«
La adivinación fué á su mano derecha, sobre Jerusalem, para poner capitanes, para abrir la boca á la matanza, para levantar la voz en grito, para poner ingenios contra las puertas, para fundar baluarte, y edificar fuerte.
At his right hand was the divination for Jerusalem, to appoint captains, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to appoint battering rams against the gates, to cast a mount, and to build a fort.
In his right hand was the lot for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, and to build forts.
Darauf erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
Y seráles como adivinación mentirosa en sus ojos, por estar juramentados con juramento á ellos: mas él trae á la memoria la maldad, para prenderlos.
And it shall be unto them as a false divination in their sight, to them that have sworn oaths: but he will call to remembrance the iniquity, that they may be taken.
It will be to them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths to them; but he brings iniquity to memory, that they may be taken.
»Du aber, Menschensohn, stelle dir zwei Wege dar, auf denen das Schwert des Königs von Babylon kommen soll: von einem Lande sollen sie beide ausgehen. Dann stelle einen Wegweiser auf am Anfang des Weges nach der einen wie nach der anderen Stadt,
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto habéis hecho venir en memoria vuestras maldades, manifestando vuestras traiciones, y descubriendo vuestros pecados en todas vuestras obras; por cuanto habéis venido en memoria, seréis tomados á mano.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, ye shall be taken with the hand.
“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have caused your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear; because you have come to memory, you will be taken with the hand.
damit das Schwert sowohl über Rabbath im Ammoniterlande als auch über Juda und Jerusalem in dessen Mitte kommen kann.
Y tú, profano é impío príncipe de Israel, cuyo día vino en el tiempo de la consumación de la maldad;
And thou, profane wicked prince of Israel, whose day is come, when iniquity shall have an end,
“‘You, deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day has come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,
Denn der König von Babylon steht am Scheidewege, am Anfang der beiden Wege, um eine Offenbarung zu erhalten: er schüttelt die Pfeile, befragt die Hausgötter und beschaut die Leber.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Depón la tiara, quita la corona: ésta no será más ésta: al bajo alzaré, y al alto abatiré.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Remove the diadem, and take off the crown: this shall not be the same: exalt him that is low, and abase him that is high.
the Lord GOD says: “Remove the turban, and take off the crown. This will not be as it was. Exalt that which is low, and humble that which is high.
In seiner Rechten ist das Los ›Jerusalem‹, daß er den Mund auftue zum Kriegsgeschrei, lauten Schlachtruf erschallen lasse, Sturmböcke gegen die Tore aufstelle, einen Wall aufschütte und Belagerungstürme baue.
Del revés, del revés, del revés la tornaré; y no será ésta más, hasta que venga aquel cuyo es el derecho, y se la entregaré.

Freilich scheint das ihnen eine trügerische Wahrsagung zu sein, da sie ja die feierlichsten Eide geschworen haben; doch er bringt ihre Verschuldung (bei sich) in Erinnerung, damit sie gefangen werden.«
Y tú, hijo del hombre, profetiza, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová sobre los hijos de Ammón, y su oprobio. Dirás pues: La espada, la espada está desenvainada para degollar; acicalada para consumir con resplandor.
And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The sword, the sword is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering:
“You, son of man, prophesy and say, ‘The Lord GOD says this concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach: “A sword! A sword is drawn! It is polished for the slaughter, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;
Darum hat Gott der HERR so gesprochen: »Weil ihr mich an eure Verschuldung erinnert habt dadurch, daß eure Übertretungen aufgedeckt worden sind, so daß eure Sünden in all eurem Tun klar zu Tage liegen – ja, weil ihr euch so in Erinnerung gebracht habt, sollt ihr um ihretwillen ergriffen werden.
Te profetizan vanidad, adivínante mentira, para entregarte con los cuellos de los malos sentenciados á muerte, cuyo día vino en tiempo de la consumación de la maldad.
Whiles they see vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end.
while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies to you, to lay you on the necks of the wicked who are deadly wounded, whose day has come in the time of the iniquity of the end.
Du aber, verruchter Frevler, Fürst Israels, dessen Tag gekommen ist zur Zeit, wo seine Schuld endgültig gebüßt wird –
¿Tornaréla á su vaina? En el lugar donde te criaste, en la tierra donde has vivido, te tengo de juzgar.
Shall I cause it to return into his sheath? I will judge thee in the place where thou wast created, in the land of thy nativity.
Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where you were created, in the land of your birth, I will judge you.
so hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: ›Hinweg mit der Königsbinde! Herunter mit der Krone! Das bleibt nicht so, wie es jetzt ist! Das Niedrige soll erhöht werden, und das Hohe muß herunter!
Y derramaré sobre ti mi ira: el fuego de mi enojo haré encender sobre ti, y te entregaré en mano de hombres temerarios, artífices de destrucción.
And I will pour out mine indignation upon thee, I will blow against thee in the fire of my wrath, and deliver thee into the hand of brutish men, and skilful to destroy.
I will pour out my indignation on you. I will blow on you with the fire of my wrath. I will deliver you into the hand of brutish men, skillful to destroy.
Zu Trümmern, Trümmern, Trümmern will ich (alles) machen! Wehe ihm! So soll es bleiben, bis der kommt, der das Anrecht darauf hat: dem will ich es übergeben.‹«
Del fuego serás para ser consumido; tu sangre será en medio de la tierra; no habrá más memoria de ti: porque yo Jehová he hablado.
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
You will be for fuel to the fire. Your blood will be in the middle of the land. You will be remembered no more; for I, the LORD, have spoken it.”’”
»Du aber, Menschensohn, verkünde folgende Weissagung: So hat Gott der HERR in betreff der Ammoniter und in betreff ihrer Hohnreden gesprochen! Verkünde: ›Ein Schwert, ein Schwert ist gezückt zum Schlachten, ist gefegt zum Blinken, damit es blitze –

während man dich durch nichtige Gesichte getäuscht und dir Lügen gewahrsagt hat –, um es verruchten Frevlern an den Hals zu setzen, deren Tag kommt zu der Zeit, wo ihre Schuld endgültig gebüßt wird.

Stecke das Schwert wieder in seine Scheide! An dem Orte, wo du geschaffen bist, im Lande, aus dem du stammst, will ich dich richten

und will meinen Zorn sich über dich ergießen lassen, das Feuer meines Ingrimms gegen dich anfachen und dich der Gewalt tierischer Menschen preisgeben, die Verderben (für dich) schmieden.

Dem Feuer sollst du zum Fraß dienen, dein Blut soll inmitten deines Landes vergossen liegen, deiner soll nicht mehr gedacht werden; denn ich, der HERR, habe gesprochen!‹«
