Ezequiel 22

Yo busqué en vano alguien que fuera justo y pudiera interceder a favor de la ciudad, que sirviera como su protector, quien pudiera colocarse en la brecha y defenderte de mis justos ataques, pero no encontré a nadie.

Y busqué de ellos hombre que hiciese vallado, y que se pusiese al portillo delante de mí por la tierra, para que yo no la destruyese; y no lo hallé.

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

“I sought for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.
