La palabra de Yahvé vino a mí y me dijo:
Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
“Y tú, hijo de hombre, ¿vas a juzgar? ¿Vas a juzgar a la ciudad sanguinaria? Hazle saber todas sus abominaciones.
Y tú, hijo del hombre, ¿no juzgarás tú, no juzgarás tú á la ciudad derramadora de sangre, y le mostrarás todas sus abominaciones?
Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.
“You, son of man, will you judge? Will you judge the bloody city? Then cause her to know all her abominations.
Diles: Así dice el Señor Yahvé: ¡Ciudad que derrama sangre dentro de sus muros, provocando que llegue su hora, y que se fabrica ídolos para contaminarse!
Dirás, pues: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ciudad derramadora de sangre en medio de sí, para que venga su hora, y que hizo ídolos contra sí misma para contaminarse!
Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.
You shall say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “A city that sheds blood within herself, that her time may come, and that makes idols against herself to defile her!
Te has hecho culpable por la sangre que derramaste y te has contaminado con los ídolos que fabricaste. Has acortado tus días y has llegado al fin de tus años. Por eso te he convertido en una vergüenza ante las naciones y en burla de todos los países.
En tu sangre que derramaste has pecado, y te has contaminado en tus ídolos que hiciste; y has hecho acercar tus días, y has llegado á tus años: por tanto te he dado en oprobio á las gentes, y en escarnio á todas las tierras.
Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
You have become guilty in your blood that you have shed, and are defiled in your idols which you have made! You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.
Los que están cerca y los que están lejos se burlarán de ti, ciudad de mala fama y llena de disturbios.
Las que están cerca, y las que están lejos de ti, se reirán de ti, amancillada de fama, y de grande turbación.
Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.
Those who are near and those who are far from you will mock you, you infamous one, full of tumult.
“Mira cómo los príncipes de Israel usan su poder en ti para derramar sangre.
He aquí que los príncipes de Israel, cada uno según su poder, fueron en ti para derramar sangre.
Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.
“‘“Behold, the princes of Israel, everyone according to his power, have been in you to shed blood.
En ti desprecian al padre y a la madre; en ti oprimen al extranjero y maltratan al huérfano y a la viuda.
Al padre y á la madre despreciaron en ti: al extranjero trataron con calumnia en medio de ti: al huérfano y á la viuda despojaron en ti.
In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
In you have they treated father and mother with contempt. Among you they have oppressed the foreigner. In you they have wronged the fatherless and the widow.
Has despreciado mis cosas sagradas y has profanado mis sábados.
Mis santuarios menospreciaste, y mis sábados has profanado.
Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
You have despised my holy things, and have profaned my Sabbaths.
Hay en ti gente calumniadora que busca derramar sangre. En ti hay quienes comen en los santuarios de los montes y cometen actos de lujuria en medio de ti.
Calumniadores hubo en ti para derramar sangre; y sobre los montes comieron en ti: hicieron en medio de ti suciedades.
In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood. In you they have eaten on the mountains. They have committed lewdness among you.
En ti han descubierto la desnudez del padre y han abusado de la mujer mientras estaba impura por su menstruación.
La desnudez del padre descubrieron en ti; la inmunda de menstruo forzaron en ti.
In thee have they discovered their fathers’ nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.
In you have they uncovered their fathers’ nakedness. In you have they humbled her who was unclean in her impurity.
Uno comete abominación con la mujer de su prójimo, otro contamina perversamente a su nuera, y otro viola a su hermana, la hija de su propio padre.
Y cada uno hizo abominación con la mujer de su prójimo; y cada uno contaminó su nuera torpemente; y cada uno forzó en ti á su hermana, hija de su padre.
And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
One has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife, and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law. Another in you has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
En ti se aceptan sobornos para derramar sangre. Tú cobras intereses y usura; extorsionas a tu prójimo para obtener ganancias injustas y te has olvidado de mí, dice el Señor Yahvé.
Precio recibieron en ti para derramar sangre; usura y logro tomaste, y á tus prójimos defraudaste con violencia: olvidástete de mí, dice el Señor Jehová.
In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
In you have they taken bribes to shed blood. You have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbors by oppression, and have forgotten me,” says the Lord GOD.
“Por eso, mira, he golpeado mis manos con fuerza a causa de las ganancias deshonestas que has obtenido y por la sangre que se ha derramado en medio de ti.
Y he aquí, que herí mi mano á causa de tu avaricia que cometiste, y á causa de tus sangres que fueron en medio de ti.
Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.
“‘“Behold, therefore I have struck my hand at your dishonest gain which you have made, and at the blood which has been shed within you.
¿Podrá resistir tu corazón o serán fuertes tus manos en los días en que yo actúe contra ti? Yo, Yahvé, lo he dicho y lo cumpliré.
¿Estará firme tu corazón? ¿tus manos serán fuertes en los días que obraré yo contra ti? Yo Jehová he hablado, y harélo.
Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.
Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I will deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken it, and will do it.
Te dispersaré entre las naciones, te esparciré por los países y eliminaré de ti tu inmundicia.
Y yo te esparciré por las gentes, y te aventaré por las tierras; y haré fenecer de ti tu inmundicia.
And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the countries. I will purge your filthiness out of you.
Serás profanada en ti misma a la vista de las naciones. Entonces sabrás que yo soy Yahvé”.
Y tomarás heredad en ti á los ojos de las gentes; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.
And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
You will be profaned in yourself in the sight of the nations. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”’”
La palabra de Yahvé vino a mí y me dijo:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
“Hijo de hombre, la casa de Israel se ha convertido en escoria para mí. Todos ellos son como cobre, estaño, hierro y plomo en medio del horno; no son más que escoria de plata.
Hijo del hombre, la casa de Israel se me ha tornado en escoria: todos ellos son metal, y estaño, y hierro, y plomo, en medio del horno; escorias de plata se tornaron.
Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
“Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the middle of the furnace. They are the dross of silver.
Por tanto, así dice el Señor Yahvé: Por cuanto todos ustedes se han convertido en escoria, miren, yo los reuniré en medio de Jerusalén.
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto todos vosotros os habéis tornado en escorias, por tanto, he aquí que yo os junto en medio de Jerusalem.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.

Como se junta plata, cobre, hierro, plomo y estaño en medio del horno, para atizar el fuego y fundirlos, así los juntaré yo en mi ira y en mi furor; allí los pondré y los fundiré.
Como quien junta plata y metal y hierro y plomo y estaño en medio del horno, para encender fuego en él para fundir; así os juntaré en mi furor y en mi ira, y haré reposar, y os fundiré.
As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.

Sí, los reuniré y soplaré sobre ustedes el fuego de mi ira, y serán fundidos en medio de la ciudad.

As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall ye be melted in the midst thereof; and ye shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you.

“Hijo de hombre, dile a la tierra: Tú eres una tierra que no ha sido limpiada ni ha recibido lluvia en el día de la ira.
Hijo del hombre, di á ella: Tú no eres tierra limpia, ni rociada con lluvia en el día del furor.
Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
“Son of man, tell her, ‘You are a land that is not cleansed nor rained on in the day of indignation.’
Hay una conspiración de sus profetas en medio de ella; como león rugiente que desgarra la presa, han devorado vidas, se han apoderado de tesoros y cosas preciosas, y han multiplicado el número de viudas en medio de ella.
La conjuración de sus profetas en medio de ella, como león bramando que arrebata presa: devoraron almas, tomaron haciendas y honra, aumentaron sus viudas en medio de ella.

Sus sacerdotes han violado mi ley y han profanado mis cosas sagradas. No hacen distinción entre lo santo y lo común, ni enseñan a distinguir entre lo impuro y lo limpio. Han cerrado sus ojos a mis sábados, y he sido profanado entre ellos.
Sus sacerdotes violentaron mi ley, y contaminaron mis santuarios: entre lo santo y lo profano no hicieron diferencia, ni distinguieron entre inmundo y limpio; y de mis sábados escondieron sus ojos, y yo era profanado en medio de ellos.
Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

Sus príncipes en medio de ella son como lobos que desgarran la presa; derraman sangre y destruyen vidas para obtener ganancias deshonestas.

Sus profetas los han encubierto todo con cal, teniendo visiones falsas y adivinándoles mentiras, diciendo: ‘Así dice el Señor Yahvé’, cuando Yahvé no ha hablado.
Y sus profetas revocaban con lodo suelto, profetizándoles vanidad, y adivinándoles mentira, diciendo: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová; y Jehová no había hablado.
And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

La gente de la tierra practica la extorsión y comete robos; oprimen al pobre y al necesitado, y maltratan al extranjero negándole la justicia.
El pueblo de la tierra usaba de opresión, y cometía robo, y al afligido y menesteroso hacían violencia, y al extranjero oprimían sin derecho.
The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.

“Busqué entre ellos a alguien que levantara una muralla y se pusiera en la brecha delante de mí a favor de la tierra, para que yo no la destruyera, pero no encontré a nadie.
Y busqué de ellos hombre que hiciese vallado, y que se pusiese al portillo delante de mí por la tierra, para que yo no la destruyese; y no lo hallé.
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
“I sought for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.
Por eso he derramado mi indignación sobre ellos; los he consumido con el fuego de mi ira y he hecho recaer su propia conducta sobre sus cabezas, dice el Señor Yahvé”.
Por tanto derramé sobre ellos mi ira; con el fuego de mi ira los consumí: torné el camino de ellos sobre su cabeza, dice el Señor Jehová.
Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD.
