O Senhor voltou a falar comigo e disse:
Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

“Filho do homem, você julgará essa cidade assassina! Denuncie seus pecados, mostre-lhe uma por uma as maldades que ela cometeu!
Y tú, hijo del hombre, ¿no juzgarás tú, no juzgarás tú á la ciudad derramadora de sangre, y le mostrarás todas sus abominaciones?
Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt shew her all her abominations.
“You, son of man, will you judge? Will you judge the bloody city? Then cause her to know all her abominations.
Diga a ela: Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Ó cidade, você está perdida! Cidade de Ídolos, você se tornou impura com todos os seus falsos deuses, e o castigo está se aproximando.
Dirás, pues: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ciudad derramadora de sangre en medio de sí, para que venga su hora, y que hizo ídolos contra sí misma para contaminarse!
Then say thou, Thus saith the Lord GOD, The city sheddeth blood in the midst of it, that her time may come, and maketh idols against herself to defile herself.
You shall say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “A city that sheds blood within herself, that her time may come, and that makes idols against herself to defile her!
Por causa do sangue que derramou, por causa dos ídolos que você mesma fabricou, você é culpada, é impura para mim. Você apressou o dia do seu castigo! Chegou o fim dos seus anos! Eu farei de você motivo de zombaria, exemplo de vergonha para todos os povos.
En tu sangre que derramaste has pecado, y te has contaminado en tus ídolos que hiciste; y has hecho acercar tus días, y has llegado á tus años: por tanto te he dado en oprobio á las gentes, y en escarnio á todas las tierras.
Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made; and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a mocking to all countries.
You have become guilty in your blood that you have shed, and are defiled in your idols which you have made! You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of your years. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mocking to all the countries.
Seus vizinhos e os povos mais distantes vão rir de você, ó cidade impura e desordeira.
Las que están cerca, y las que están lejos de ti, se reirán de ti, amancillada de fama, y de grande turbación.
Those that be near, and those that be far from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.
Those who are near and those who are far from you will mock you, you infamous one, full of tumult.
“As autoridades de Israel só pensam em derramar sangue. Quanto mais poderosas, mais sede de sangue elas têm.
He aquí que los príncipes de Israel, cada uno según su poder, fueron en ti para derramar sangre.
Behold, the princes of Israel, every one were in thee to their power to shed blood.
“‘“Behold, the princes of Israel, everyone according to his power, have been in you to shed blood.
Desprezam abertamente pais e mães, exploram os estrangeiros, roubam os órfãos e as viúvas.
Al padre y á la madre despreciaron en ti: al extranjero trataron con calumnia en medio de ti: al huérfano y á la viuda despojaron en ti.
In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.
In you have they treated father and mother with contempt. Among you they have oppressed the foreigner. In you they have wronged the fatherless and the widow.
Você não deu o mínimo valor às minhas coisas santas; você desrespeitou os meus sábados.
Mis santuarios menospreciaste, y mis sábados has profanado.
Thou hast despised mine holy things, and hast profaned my sabbaths.
You have despised my holy things, and have profaned my Sabbaths.
Os maus usam testemunhas falsas para condenar os inocentes à morte; abertamente os moradores comem carne que foi oferecida a falsos deuses nos santuários dos montes! Existe imoralidade por toda parte.
Calumniadores hubo en ti para derramar sangre; y sobre los montes comieron en ti: hicieron en medio de ti suciedades.
In thee are men that carry tales to shed blood: and in thee they eat upon the mountains: in the midst of thee they commit lewdness.
Slanderous men have been in you to shed blood. In you they have eaten on the mountains. They have committed lewdness among you.
Em seu meio há homens que têm relações sexuais com as mulheres do seu próprio pai e aqueles que têm relações com as mulheres durante a sua menstruação.
La desnudez del padre descubrieron en ti; la inmunda de menstruo forzaron en ti.
In thee have they discovered their fathers’ nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set apart for pollution.
In you have they uncovered their fathers’ nakedness. In you have they humbled her who was unclean in her impurity.
Cometer adultério com a mulher do seu próximo é normal; alguns têm relações sexuais com suas próprias noras, e outros chegam a desonrar a sua irmã, filha de seu pai.
Y cada uno hizo abominación con la mujer de su prójimo; y cada uno contaminó su nuera torpemente; y cada uno forzó en ti á su hermana, hija de su padre.
And one hath committed abomination with his neighbour’s wife; and another hath lewdly defiled his daughter in law; and another in thee hath humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
One has committed abomination with his neighbor’s wife, and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law. Another in you has humbled his sister, his father’s daughter.
Em seu meio há assassinos de aluguel; gente que explora os pobres cobrando juros altos, visando lucro, obtendo ganhos injustos e explorando seu próximo. Mas de mim, não há ninguém que se lembre. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor.
Precio recibieron en ti para derramar sangre; usura y logro tomaste, y á tus prójimos defraudaste con violencia: olvidástete de mí, dice el Señor Jehová.
In thee have they taken gifts to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD.
In you have they taken bribes to shed blood. You have taken interest and increase, and you have greedily gained of your neighbors by oppression, and have forgotten me,” says the Lord GOD.
“Mas agora chega! Basta de exploração e derramamento de sangue.
Y he aquí, que herí mi mano á causa de tu avaricia que cometiste, y á causa de tus sangres que fueron en medio de ti.
Behold, therefore I have smitten mine hand at thy dishonest gain which thou hast made, and at thy blood which hath been in the midst of thee.

No dia em que eu lhe pedir contas, o seu coração aguentará? No dia do castigo, você será capaz de resistir? Eu, o Senhor, farei tudo o que disse a seu respeito.
¿Estará firme tu corazón? ¿tus manos serán fuertes en los días que obraré yo contra ti? Yo Jehová he hablado, y harélo.
Can thine heart endure, or can thine hands be strong, in the days that I shall deal with thee? I the LORD have spoken it, and will do it.

Espalharei os seus moradores entre as nações, acabarei com seus pecados imundos.
Y yo te esparciré por las gentes, y te aventaré por las tierras; y haré fenecer de ti tu inmundicia.
And I will scatter thee among the heathen, and disperse thee in the countries, and will consume thy filthiness out of thee.
I will scatter you among the nations, and disperse you through the countries. I will purge your filthiness out of you.
Você será desonrada por causa dos pecados que cometeu. Todos os povos verão sua destruição, e finalmente você saberá que eu sou o Senhor”.
Y tomarás heredad en ti á los ojos de las gentes; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.
And thou shalt take thine inheritance in thyself in the sight of the heathen, and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
You will be profaned in yourself in the sight of the nations. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”’”
O Senhor ainda me disse o seguinte:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

“Filho do homem, o povo de Israel é como as impurezas que aparecem junto com a prata. São a sujeira que o fogo tira do metal precioso; são o cobre, o estanho, o ferro e o chumbo misturado com a prata.
Hijo del hombre, la casa de Israel se me ha tornado en escoria: todos ellos son metal, y estaño, y hierro, y plomo, en medio del horno; escorias de plata se tornaron.
Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.
“Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me. All of them are bronze, tin, iron, and lead in the middle of the furnace. They are the dross of silver.
Por isso, assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Já que vocês se tornaram impurezas do metal, eu os ajuntarei em Jerusalém.
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto todos vosotros os habéis tornado en escorias, por tanto, he aquí que yo os junto en medio de Jerusalem.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye are all become dross, behold, therefore I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem.
Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have all become dross, therefore, behold, I will gather you into the middle of Jerusalem.
Vou assoprar o fogo da minha ira, e, lá em Jerusalém, todos vocês serão fundidos numa fornalha, na minha ira e na minha indignação, como se funde o cobre, o ferro, o chumbo e o estanho.
Como quien junta plata y metal y hierro y plomo y estaño en medio del horno, para encender fuego en él para fundir; así os juntaré en mi furor y en mi ira, y haré reposar, y os fundiré.
As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.

Acabarão como uma mistura de prata com outros metais, sendo derretida no forno. Serão derretidos em Jerusalém, e então saberão que eu, o Senhor, derramei a minha ira sobre vocês”.

Mais uma vez recebi a mensagem do Senhor, que me disse:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

“Filho do homem, diga ao povo de Israel: No dia da minha ira, vocês serão como uma terra cheia de mato bravo, uma terra seca e sem chuva.
Hijo del hombre, di á ella: Tú no eres tierra limpia, ni rociada con lluvia en el día del furor.
Son of man, say unto her, Thou art the land that is not cleansed, nor rained upon in the day of indignation.
“Son of man, tell her, ‘You are a land that is not cleansed nor rained on in the day of indignation.’
As suas autoridades parecem leões perseguindo suas presas para despedaçá-las. Eles devoram muitas pessoas, roubam para si as riquezas das pessoas que destruíram e fazem muitas e muitas viúvas entre o meu povo.
La conjuración de sus profetas en medio de ella, como león bramando que arrebata presa: devoraron almas, tomaron haciendas y honra, aumentaron sus viudas en medio de ella.
There is a conspiracy of her prophets in the midst thereof, like a roaring lion ravening the prey; they have devoured souls; they have taken the treasure and precious things; they have made her many widows in the midst thereof.

Seus sacerdotes desobedecem à minha lei abertamente, desprezam as minhas coisas santas. Não ensinaram o povo a separar o que é sagrado e o que é comum, a fazer diferença entre o certo e o errado. Desrespeitaram os meus sábados! Eles ensinam o povo a não respeitar a minha santidade.
Sus sacerdotes violentaron mi ley, y contaminaron mis santuarios: entre lo santo y lo profano no hicieron diferencia, ni distinguieron entre inmundo y limpio; y de mis sábados escondieron sus ojos, y yo era profanado en medio de ellos.
Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them.

As autoridades de Israel são como lobos, que despedaçam suas presas; derramam sangue e matam os inocentes para enriquecer de maneira injusta.

Seus profetas inventam visões, profetizam mentiras, dizendo: ‘Assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor’, quando o Senhor não lhes disse nada. Em lugar de consertarem o muro, pintam-no de branco para tapar os buracos!

And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken.

O povo da terra já se acostumou a roubar e maltratar os pobres, os necessitados e os estrangeiros que não sabem se defender.
El pueblo de la tierra usaba de opresión, y cometía robo, y al afligido y menesteroso hacían violencia, y al extranjero oprimían sin derecho.

“Procurei um homem, um único homem que consertasse o muro, um homem que se pusesse na brecha onde os muros desmoronaram, um homem que fosse justo e bom, para impedir que eu destrua sua terra. Procurei, mas não consegui achar nenhum!
Y busqué de ellos hombre que hiciese vallado, y que se pusiese al portillo delante de mí por la tierra, para que yo no la destruyese; y no lo hallé.
And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

Por isso, diz o Soberano, o Senhor, derramarei sobre os israelitas a minha ira. Destruirei o meu povo com o fogo do meu furor. Eu lhes darei o castigo merecido por todos os seus pecados!”
Por tanto derramé sobre ellos mi ira; con el fuego de mi ira los consumí: torné el camino de ellos sobre su cabeza, dice el Señor Jehová.
