Ezequiel 23

Perciò io l’abbandonai in balìa de’ suoi amanti, in balìa de’ figliuoli d’Assiria, per i quali s’era appassionata.

Por lo cual la entregué en mano de sus amantes, en mano de los hijos de los Asirios, de quienes se había enamorado.

Wherefore I have delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, upon whom she doted.
