Y la palabra del Señor vino a mí en el noveno año, en el mes décimo, al décimo día del mes, diciendo:

Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Hijo de hombre, escríbelo hoy mismo: el rey de Babilonia soltó el peso de su ataque contra Jerusalén en este mismo día.
Hijo del hombre, escríbete el nombre de este día: el rey de Babilonia se puso sobre Jerusalem este mismo día.
Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.
“Son of man, write the name of the day, this same day. The king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
Y diles una parábola a esta gente rebelde y diles: Esto es lo que el Señor Dios ha dicho: Pon una olla, ponla en él fuego y pon agua en ella.
Y habla á la casa de rebelión por parábola, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Pon una olla, ponla, y echa también en ella agua:
And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:
Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says, “Put the cauldron on the fire. Put it on, and also pour water into it.
Reúne los pedazos, toda buena parte, la pierna, el lomo; llénala de los mejores huesos.
Junta sus piezas en ella; todas buenas piezas, pierna y espalda; hínchela de huesos escogidos.
Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
Gather its pieces into it, even every good piece: the thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with the choice bones.
Junten lo mejor del rebaño, pon también los huesos debajo; vean que sus pedacitos están hirviendo bien; Deja que los huesos se cocinen en su interior.
Toma una oveja escogida; y también enciende los huesos debajo de ella; haz que hierva bien; coced también sus huesos dentro de ella.
Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.
Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the cauldron. Make it boil well. Yes, let its bones be boiled within it.”
Porque esto es lo que el Señor Dios ha dicho: ¡Hay de la ciudad sanguinaria, la olla de cocción que está sucia en el interior, que nunca se ha limpiado! saca sus trozos; Su destino aún está por venir.
Pues así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de la ciudad de sangres, de la olla no espumada, y cuya espuma no salió de ella! Por sus piezas, por sus piezas sácala; no caiga sobre ella suerte.
Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Woe to the bloody city, to the cauldron whose rust is in it, and whose rust hasn’t gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece without casting lots for it.
Porque su sangre está en ella; la puso sobre la roca abierta y no la drenó sobre la tierra para que pudiera quedar cubierta de polvo;
Porque su sangre fué en medio de ella: sobre una piedra alisada la puso; no la derramó sobre la tierra para que fuese cubierta con polvo.
For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
“‘“For the blood she shed is in the middle of her. She set it on the bare rock. She didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
Para que pueda surgir la ira y castigar, ella ha puesto su sangre en la roca abierta, para que no quede cubierta.
Habiendo, pues, hecho subir la ira para hacer venganza, yo pondré su sangre sobre la dura piedra, para que no sea cubierta.
That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.
That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.”
Por esta causa el Señor ha dicho: ¡Hay una maldición en el pueblo de sangre! y haré grande la hoguera ardiente.
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de la ciudad de sangres! Pues también haré yo gran hoguera,
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Pon mucha madera, calienta el fuego, hierve bien la carne, espesa la sopa y deja que los huesos se quemen.
Multiplicando la leña, encendiendo el fuego, para consumir la carne, y hacer la salsa; y los huesos serán quemados:
Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
Heap on the wood. Make the fire hot. Boil the meat well. Make the broth thick, and let the bones be burned.
Y la pondré sobre las brasas para que pueda calentarse y quemar su bronce, para que lo que es impuro en ella se ablande y su basura se elimine por completo.
Asentando después la olla vacía sobre sus brasas, para que se caldee, y se queme su fondo, y se funda en ella su suciedad, y se consuma su espuma.
Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.
Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its bronze may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
Se ha cansado con sus fraudes; todavía no ha salido todo el desperdicio que hay en ella, consumase todo desperdicio en él fuego.
En fraude se cansó, y no salió de ella su mucha espuma. En fuego será su espuma consumida.
She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.
She is weary with toil; yet her great rust, rust by fire, doesn’t leave her.
Porque en tu depravación hay inmundicia; porque he intentado limpiarte, pero no te han quitado nada, no te limpiarán hasta que te haya dejado reposar mi furor sobre ti en toda medida.
En tu suciedad perversa padecerás: porque te limpié, y tú no te limpiaste de tu suciedad: nunca más te limpiarás, hasta que yo haga reposar mi ira sobre ti.
In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
“‘“In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you won’t be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
Yo, el Señor, he dicho la palabra y la haré; No volveré ni tendré piedad, y mi propósito no cambiará; en la medida de tus acciones y de tus obras, te juzgaré, dice el Señor Dios.
Yo Jehová he hablado; vendrá, y harélo. No me tornaré atrás, ni tendré misericordia, ni me arrepentiré: según tus caminos y tus obras te juzgarán, dice el Señor Jehová.
I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
“‘“I, the LORD, have spoken it. It will happen, and I will do it. I won’t go back. I won’t spare. I won’t repent. According to your ways and according to your doings, they will judge you,” says the Lord GOD.’”
Y vino a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Also the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Hijo de hombre, mira, estoy quitando el deseo de tus ojos por la muerte; pero no dejes que el dolor o el llanto o las lágrimas de tus ojos.
Hijo del hombre, he aquí que yo te quito de golpe el deseo de tus ojos: no endeches, ni llores, ni corran tus lágrimas.
Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
“Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
Que no haya sonido de tristeza; no llores por tus muertos, ponte el tocado y los zapatos sobre tus pies, no dejes que se cubran tus labios y no tomes la comida de los que están en duelo.
Reprime el suspirar, no hagas luto de mortuorios: ata tu bonete sobre ti, y pon tus zapatos en tus pies, y no te cubras con rebozo, ni comas pan de hombres.
Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.
Sigh, but not aloud. Make no mourning for the dead. Bind your headdress on you, and put your sandals on your feet. Don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat mourner’s bread.”
Por la mañana estaba enseñando a la gente y por la tarde la muerte se llevó a mi esposa; Y por la mañana hice lo que me habían ordenado hacer.
Y hablé al pueblo por la mañana, y á la tarde murió mi mujer: y á la mañana hice como me fué mandado.
So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died. So I did in the morning as I was commanded.
Y el pueblo me dijo: ¿No nos explicarás en claro el sentido de estas cosas? ¿Es por nosotros que los haces?
Y díjome el pueblo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué nos significan estas cosas que tú haces?
And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?
The people asked me, “Won’t you tell us what these things mean to us, that you act like this?”
Entonces les dije: La palabra del Señor vino a mí, diciendo:
Y yo les dije: Palabra de Jehová fué á mí, diciendo:
Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Then I said to them, “The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Di a la gente de Israel: El Señor Dios ha dicho: Mira, haré impuro mi lugar santo, el orgullo de tu fortaleza, el placer de tus ojos y el deseo de tu alma; y tus hijos e hijas, que no vinieron contigo aquí, caerán por la espada.
Di á la casa de Israel: Así ha dicho el Señor Dios: He aquí yo profano mi santuario, la gloria de vuestra fortaleza, el deseo de vuestros ojos, y el regalo de vuestra alma: vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas que dejasteis, caerán á cuchillo.
Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
‘Speak to the house of Israel, “The Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.
Y harás lo que yo he hecho, sin taparte los labios ni tomar la comida de los que están en duelo.
Y haréis de la manera que yo hice: no os cubriréis con rebozo, ni comeréis pan de hombres;
And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
You will do as I have done. You won’t cover your lips or eat mourner’s bread.
Y tus turbantes estarán sobre sus cabezas y tus zapatos sobre sus pies: no habrá tristeza ni llanto; pero estarán consumidos en el castigo de su maldad, y gemirán entre ustedes con asombro.
Y vuestros bonetes estarán sobre vuestras cabezas, y vuestros zapatos en vuestros pies: no endecharéis ni lloraréis, sino que os consumiréis á causa de vuestras maldades, y gemiréis unos con otros.
And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.
Your turbans will be on your heads, and your sandals on your feet. You won’t mourn or weep; but you will pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
Ezequiel será una señal para ustedes, todo lo que él ha hecho, ustedes harán; cuando esto suceda, sabrán de que yo soy el Señor Dios.
Ezequiel pues os será por señal; según todas las cosas que él hizo, haréis: en viniendo esto, entonces sabréis que yo soy el Señor Jehová.
Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Thus Ezekiel will be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’”’”
Y en cuanto a ti, hijo de hombre, tu boca se cerrará en el día en que les quite su poder, el gozo de su gloria, el deseo de sus ojos y aquello en lo que se fijan sus corazones y sus hijos e hijas.
Y tú, hijo del hombre, el día que yo quitaré de ellos su fortaleza, el gozo de su gloria, el deseo de sus ojos, y el cuidado de sus almas, sus hijos y sus hijas,
Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
“You, son of man, shouldn’t it be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart—their sons and their daughters—
En ese día, alguien que se haya escapado a salvo vendrá a darte una noticia al respecto.
Este día vendrá á ti un escapado para traer las nuevas.
That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?
that in that day he who escapes will come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
En ese día tu boca se abrirá para él que ha escapado, y hablaras y dejarás de ser mudo; entonces será una señal para ellos y estarán seguros de que Yo soy el Señor.
En aquel día se abrirá tu boca para hablar con el escapado, y hablarás, y no estarás más mudo; y les serás por señal, y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you will speak and be no more mute. So you will be a sign to them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
