Me habló el Señor en el año noveno del cautiverio, en el mes décimo, a diez del mes, diciendo:
Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová en el noveno año, en el mes décimo, á los diez del mes, diciendo:
Again in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Again, in the ninth year, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Hijo de hombre: Ten presente este día; porque hoy el rey de Babilonia ha sentado sus campamentos delante de Jerusalén .
Hijo del hombre, escríbete el nombre de este día: el rey de Babilonia se puso sobre Jerusalem este mismo día.
Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this same day: the king of Babylon set himself against Jerusalem this same day.
“Son of man, write the name of the day, this same day. The king of Babylon drew close to Jerusalem this same day.
Y hablarás a esa familia de rebeldes de un modo alegórico, y les propondrás esta parábola. Esto dice el Señor Dios: Toma una olla o caldera, tómala, te digo yo, y echa agua en ella.
Y habla á la casa de rebelión por parábola, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Pon una olla, ponla, y echa también en ella agua:
And utter a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Set on a pot, set it on, and also pour water into it:
Utter a parable to the rebellious house, and tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says, “Put the cauldron on the fire. Put it on, and also pour water into it.
Mete dentro pedazos de carne, todos escogidos, pierna y espalda, las partes mejores y donde están los huesos.
Junta sus piezas en ella; todas buenas piezas, pierna y espalda; hínchela de huesos escogidos.
Gather the pieces thereof into it, even every good piece, the thigh, and the shoulder; fill it with the choice bones.
Gather its pieces into it, even every good piece: the thigh and the shoulder. Fill it with the choice bones.
Toma la res más gorda, y pon además un montón de huesos debajo de la olla, haz que hierva a borbollones, y se cuezan también los huesos que hay dentro de ella.
Toma una oveja escogida; y también enciende los huesos debajo de ella; haz que hierva bien; coced también sus huesos dentro de ella.
Take the choice of the flock, and burn also the bones under it, and make it boil well, and let them seethe the bones of it therein.
Take the choice of the flock, and also a pile of wood for the bones under the cauldron. Make it boil well. Yes, let its bones be boiled within it.”
Pues esto dice el Señor Dios: ¡Ay de la ciudad sanguinaria!, olla que está toda llena de sarro, sin que el sarro se haya quitado de ella, saca fuera la carne de porción en porción; no se dé lugar a la suerte.
Pues así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de la ciudad de sangres, de la olla no espumada, y cuya espuma no salió de ella! Por sus piezas, por sus piezas sácala; no caiga sobre ella suerte.
Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose scum is therein, and whose scum is not gone out of it! bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it.
“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Woe to the bloody city, to the cauldron whose rust is in it, and whose rust hasn’t gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece without casting lots for it.
Porque en medio de ella está la sangre inocente que ha derramado; sobre muy limpias piedras la derramó; no la derramó sobre la tierra, de modo que se pueda cubrir con el polvo.
Porque su sangre fué en medio de ella: sobre una piedra alisada la puso; no la derramó sobre la tierra para que fuese cubierta con polvo.
For her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust;
“‘“For the blood she shed is in the middle of her. She set it on the bare rock. She didn’t pour it on the ground, to cover it with dust.
Para hacer caer yo sobre ella la indignación mía y tomar venganza de ella, derramaré también su sangre sobre limpísimas piedras, a fin de que quede manifiesta.
Habiendo, pues, hecho subir la ira para hacer venganza, yo pondré su sangre sobre la dura piedra, para que no sea cubierta.
That it might cause fury to come up to take vengeance; I have set her blood upon the top of a rock, that it should not be covered.
That it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have set her blood on the bare rock, that it should not be covered.”
Por tanto, esto dice el Señor Dios: ¡Ay de la ciudad sanguinaria, a la cual convertiré yo en una gran hoguera!
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de la ciudad de sangres! Pues también haré yo gran hoguera,
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the bloody city! I will even make the pile for fire great.
“‘Therefore the Lord GOD says: “Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
Amontona huesos, que yo les daré fuego, se consumirán las carnes, y se deshará todo cuanto contiene la olla, y los huesos se disolverán.
Multiplicando la leña, encendiendo el fuego, para consumir la carne, y hacer la salsa; y los huesos serán quemados:
Heap on wood, kindle the fire, consume the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
Heap on the wood. Make the fire hot. Boil the meat well. Make the broth thick, and let the bones be burned.
Después de esto pondrás sobre las brasas la olla vacía, para que se caldee y se derrita su cobre; con lo cual deshaga dentro de ella su inmundicia y quede consumido su sarro.
Asentando después la olla vacía sobre sus brasas, para que se caldee, y se queme su fondo, y se funda en ella su suciedad, y se consuma su espuma.
Then set it empty upon the coals thereof, that the brass of it may be hot, and may burn, and that the filthiness of it may be molten in it, that the scum of it may be consumed.
Then set it empty on its coals, that it may be hot, and its bronze may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, that its rust may be consumed.
Se ha trabajado con afán; pero no se ha podido quitar su mucho sarro, ni aun a fuerza del fuego.
En fraude se cansó, y no salió de ella su mucha espuma. En fuego será su espuma consumida.
She hath wearied herself with lies, and her great scum went not forth out of her: her scum shall be in the fire.
She is weary with toil; yet her great rust, rust by fire, doesn’t leave her.
Digna de execración es tu inmundicia pues yo te he querido limpiar de tu porquería, y tú no te has limpiado, ni te limpiarás hasta cuando que yo haya desfogado en ti la indignación mía.
En tu suciedad perversa padecerás: porque te limpié, y tú no te limpiaste de tu suciedad: nunca más te limpiarás, hasta que yo haga reposar mi ira sobre ti.
In thy filthiness is lewdness: because I have purged thee, and thou wast not purged, thou shalt not be purged from thy filthiness any more, till I have caused my fury to rest upon thee.
“‘“In your filthiness is lewdness. Because I have cleansed you and you weren’t cleansed, you won’t be cleansed from your filthiness any more, until I have caused my wrath toward you to rest.
Yo el Señor he hablado: Vendrá el tiempo y lo ejecutaré; no volverá atrás mi palabra, ni perdonaré, ni me aplacaré, según tus caminos y tus procederes te juzgaré yo, dice el Señor.
Yo Jehová he hablado; vendrá, y harélo. No me tornaré atrás, ni tendré misericordia, ni me arrepentiré: según tus caminos y tus obras te juzgarán, dice el Señor Jehová.
I the LORD have spoken it: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I repent; according to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord GOD.
“‘“I, the LORD, have spoken it. It will happen, and I will do it. I won’t go back. I won’t spare. I won’t repent. According to your ways and according to your doings, they will judge you,” says the Lord GOD.’”
Me habló de nuevo el Señor, diciendo:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Also the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Also the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Hijo de hombre: Mira, yo voy a quitarte de golpe lo que más agradable es a tus ojos; pero no te lamentes, ni llores, ni dejes correr tus lágrimas.
Hijo del hombre, he aquí que yo te quito de golpe el deseo de tus ojos: no endeches, ni llores, ni corran tus lágrimas.
Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke: yet neither shalt thou mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
“Son of man, behold, I will take away from you the desire of your eyes with one stroke; yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears run down.
Gemirás en secreto, no harás el duelo que se acostumbra por los muertos; no te quitarás la tiara, o turbante, ni el calzado de tus pies; no te cubrirás el rostro con velo, ni usarás de los manjares propios del tiempo de luto.
Reprime el suspirar, no hagas luto de mortuorios: ata tu bonete sobre ti, y pon tus zapatos en tus pies, y no te cubras con rebozo, ni comas pan de hombres.
Forbear to cry, make no mourning for the dead, bind the tire of thine head upon thee, and put on thy shoes upon thy feet, and cover not thy lips, and eat not the bread of men.
Sigh, but not aloud. Make no mourning for the dead. Bind your headdress on you, and put your sandals on your feet. Don’t cover your lips, and don’t eat mourner’s bread.”
Esto refería yo al pueblo por la mañana, y por la tarde murió mi mujer; y a la mañana siguiente me porté como el Señor me había mandado.
Y hablé al pueblo por la mañana, y á la tarde murió mi mujer: y á la mañana hice como me fué mandado.
So I spake unto the people in the morning: and at even my wife died; and I did in the morning as I was commanded.
So I spoke to the people in the morning, and at evening my wife died. So I did in the morning as I was commanded.
Y me dijo el pueblo: ¿Por qué no nos explicas qué significan estas cosas que haces?
Y díjome el pueblo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué nos significan estas cosas que tú haces?
And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, that thou doest so?
The people asked me, “Won’t you tell us what these things mean to us, that you act like this?”
Y les respondí: El Señor me ha hablado, diciendo:
Y yo les dije: Palabra de Jehová fué á mí, diciendo:
Then I answered them, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Then I said to them, “The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Di a la casa de Israel: Esto dice el Señor Dios: He aquí que yo profanaré mi santuario, que es la gloria de vuestro reino y lo más amable a vuestros ojos, y que causa más ansiedad a vuestra alma; y los hijos y las hijas que habéis dejado, perecerán al filo de la espada.
Di á la casa de Israel: Así ha dicho el Señor Dios: He aquí yo profano mi santuario, la gloria de vuestra fortaleza, el deseo de vuestros ojos, y el regalo de vuestra alma: vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas que dejasteis, caerán á cuchillo.
Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the sword.
‘Speak to the house of Israel, “The Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.
Y tendréis que hacer lo que yo he hecho, pues no os cubriréis el rostro con velo, ni os alimentaréis con las viandas que usan los que están de luto.
Y haréis de la manera que yo hice: no os cubriréis con rebozo, ni comeréis pan de hombres;
And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover your lips, nor eat the bread of men.
You will do as I have done. You won’t cover your lips or eat mourner’s bread.
Tendréis la corona o turbante en vuestra cabeza, y calzados estarán vuestros pies; no os lamentaréis, ni lloraréis; sino que os consumiréis en vuestras maldades, y gemiréis, mirándoos atónitos uno a otro.
Y vuestros bonetes estarán sobre vuestras cabezas, y vuestros zapatos en vuestros pies: no endecharéis ni lloraréis, sino que os consumiréis á causa de vuestras maldades, y gemiréis unos con otros.
And your tires shall be upon your heads, and your shoes upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall pine away for your iniquities, and mourn one toward another.
Your turbans will be on your heads, and your sandals on your feet. You won’t mourn or weep; but you will pine away in your iniquities, and moan one toward another.
Y Ezequiel será un modelo para vosotros, lo mismo que él ha practicado en la muerte de su esposa, practicaréis vosotros cuando llegaren estos sucesos; y conoceréis entonces que yo soy el Señor Dios.
Ezequiel pues os será por señal; según todas las cosas que él hizo, haréis: en viniendo esto, entonces sabréis que yo soy el Señor Jehová.
Thus Ezekiel is unto you a sign: according to all that he hath done shall ye do: and when this cometh, ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
Thus Ezekiel will be a sign to you; according to all that he has done, you will do. When this comes, then you will know that I am the Lord GOD.’”’”
Y tú, ¡oh hijo de hombre!, mira que en el día en que yo les quitaré lo que les hace fuertes, aquello que es su consolación y su gloria, que más aman sus ojos, y en que su corazón tiene puesta su confianza, y les quitaré sus hijos e hijas;
Y tú, hijo del hombre, el día que yo quitaré de ellos su fortaleza, el gozo de su gloria, el deseo de sus ojos, y el cuidado de sus almas, sus hijos y sus hijas,
Also, thou son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their minds, their sons and their daughters,
“You, son of man, shouldn’t it be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereupon they set their heart—their sons and their daughters—
en aquel día, cuando el que escapare de Jerusalén , llege a ti y te de la noticia de su rui-na;
Este día vendrá á ti un escapado para traer las nuevas.
That he that escapeth in that day shall come unto thee, to cause thee to hear it with thine ears?
that in that day he who escapes will come to you, to cause you to hear it with your ears?
en aquel día, repito, tú hablarás al que haya escapado, y hablarás con toda libertad, y no guardarás más silencio; y habrás sido una señal o vaticinio para ellos, y vosotros conoceréis que yo soy el Señor.
En aquel día se abrirá tu boca para hablar con el escapado, y hablarás, y no estarás más mudo; y les serás por señal, y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him which is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb: and thou shalt be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
In that day your mouth will be opened to him who has escaped, and you will speak and be no more mute. So you will be a sign to them. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
