Luego me llegó un mensaje del Señor otra vez:
Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
«Hombre mortal, dirige tu vista hacia la tierra de Amón y profetiza contra su pueblo.
Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los hijos de Ammón, y profetiza sobre ellos.
Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;
“Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.
Diles: Escuchen lo que el Señor Dios dice: “¡Por cuanto se burlaron cuando mi templo fue destruido, y se burlaron de Israel en su angustia, y se rieron de Judá cuando fue llevada cautiva,
Y dirás á los hijos de Ammón: Oid palabra del Señor Jehová. Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijiste ¡Ea! acerca de mi santuario que fué profanado, y sobre la tierra de Israel que fué asolada, y sobre la casa de Judá, porque fueron en cautiverio;
And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;
Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord GOD! The Lord GOD says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,
yo permitiré que los beduinos del desierto, los que viven al oriente de ustedes, invadan su tierra! Ellos establecerán sus campamentos entre ustedes, se comerán sus frutos y beberán su leche.
Por tanto, he aquí, yo te entrego á los Orientales por heredad, y pondrán en ti sus apriscos, y colocarán en ti sus tiendas: ellos comerán tus sementeras, y beberán tu leche.
Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.
therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.
Y convertiré la ciudad de Rabá en pastizal de camellos y toda la tierra de los amonitas en terreno abandonado que solo servirá para apacentar rebaños de ovejas. Entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor”.
Y pondré á Rabba por habitación de camellos, y á los hijos de Ammón por majada de ovejas; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
»Pues el Señor Dios dice: “¡Por cuanto aplaudieron y bailotearon y vitorearon alegremente ante la destrucción de mi pueblo,
Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto tú batiste tus manos, y pateaste, y te gozaste del alma en todo tu menosprecio sobre la tierra de Israel;
For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;
For the Lord GOD says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,
yo te castigaré con mucho rigor, entregándolos a muchas naciones para ser maltratados! Los haré desaparecer como nación para siempre, los destruiré, y entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor”».
Por tanto, he aquí yo extenderé mi mano sobre ti, y te entregaré á las gentes para ser saqueada; y yo te cortaré de entre los pueblos, y te destruiré de entre las tierras: te raeré; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.
Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.”
Y el Señor Dios dice: «¡Puesto que los moabitas han dicho que Judá no está mejor que ninguna otra nación,
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijo Moab y Seir: He aquí la casa de Judá es como todas las gentes;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;
“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’
yo atacaré el flanco oriental de Moab, destruyendo sus ciudades fronterizas, que son el gran orgullo de la nación, Bet Yesimot, Baal Megón y Quiriatayin! Y tribus beduinas del desierto al oriente se desparramarán por ellas, tal como lo harán con Amón. Y Moab no existirá más entre las naciones.
Por tanto, he aquí yo abro el lado de Moab desde las ciudades, desde sus ciudades que están en su confín, las tierras deseables de Beth-jesimoth, y Baal-meón, y Chîriathaim,
Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,

A los hijos del oriente contra los hijos de Ammón; y entregaréla por heredad para que no haya más memoria de los hijos de Ammón entre las gentes.
Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.
to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.
Así haré sentir mi juicio sobre los moabitas, y ellos sabrán que yo soy el Señor».
También en Moab haré juicios; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am the LORD.”
Y el Señor Dios dice: «¡Por cuanto el pueblo de Edom ha causado tanto daño al vengarse sobre el pueblo de Judá,
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hizo Edom tomando venganza de la casa de Judá, pues delinquieron en extremo, y se vengaron de ellos;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;
“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”
yo le causaré mucho daño a Edom y exterminaré su gente, su ganado y sus rebaños! ¡Habrá mucha destrucción desde Temán hasta Dedán!
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo también extenderé mi mano sobre Edom, y talaré de ella hombres y bestias, y la asolaré: desde Temán y Dedán caerán á cuchillo.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.
therefore the Lord GOD says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.
Y el instrumento de mi venganza será mi pueblo Israel. Ellos ejecutarán mi tremenda venganza».
Y pondré mi venganza en Edom por la mano de mi pueblo Israel; y harán en Edom según mi enojo y según mi ira: y conocerán mi venganza, dice el Señor Jehová.
And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.
I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord GOD.
Y el Señor Dios dice: «¡Por haber actuado los filisteos contra Judá con tanta violencia, con un odio añejado,
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hicieron los Palestinos con venganza, cuando se vengaron con despecho de ánimo, destruyendo por antiguas enemistades;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;
“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”
yo causaré ahora mucho daño en sus territorios, y borraré a los quereteos del mapa y destruiré completamente aquellos que habitan al lado de la costa del mar!
Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo extiendo mi mano sobre los Palestinos, y talaré los Ceretheos, y destruiré el resto de la ribera de la mar.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
therefore the Lord GOD says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.
Llevaré a cabo mi terrible venganza sobre ellos para reprenderlos por lo que han hecho contra mi pueblo. Y cuando todo esto suceda, entonces sabrán que yo soy el Señor».
Y haré en ellos grandes venganzas con reprensiones de ira; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando diere mi venganza en ellos.
And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”
