2«Hombre mortal, Tiro se ha puesto muy contenta por la caída de Jerusalén, diciendo: “¡Bien! ¡Ella, que controlaba las lucrativas rutas comerciales de norte a sur a lo largo de la costa y a lo largo del curso del río Jordán, ha sido quebrada, y yo soy la heredera! ¡Por cuanto ella ha sido desolada, yo me aprovecharé y llegaré a ser rica!”.

2Hijo del hombre, por cuanto dijo Tiro sobre Jerusalem: Ea, bien: quebrantada es la que era puerta de las naciones: á mí se volvió: seré llena; ella desierta:
