“Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre: Thus says the Lord God: Because your heart has been exalted, and you have said, ‘I am God, and I sit in the chair of God, in the heart of the sea,’ though you are a man, and not God, and because you have presented your heart as if it were the heart of God:
Hijo del hombre, di al príncipe de Tiro: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto se enalteció tu corazón, y dijiste: Yo soy un dios; en la silla de Dios estoy sentado en medio de los mares (siendo tú hombre y no Dios); y has puesto tu corazón como corazón de Dios:
Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:
“Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas;’ yet you are man, and no god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god—
Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; no secret is concealed from you.
He aquí que tú eres más sabio que Daniel; no hay secreto que te sea oculto;
Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:
behold, you are wiser than Daniel. There is no secret that is hidden from you.
By your wisdom and prudence, you have made yourself strong, and you have acquired gold and silver for your storehouses.
Con tu sabiduría y con tu prudencia te has juntado riquezas, y has adquirido oro y plata en tus tesoros;
With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:
By your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasuries.
By the multitude of your wisdom, and by your business dealings, you have multiplied strength for yourself. And your heart has been exalted by your strength.
Con la grandeza de tu sabiduría en tu contratación has multiplicado tus riquezas; y á causa de tus riquezas se ha enaltecido tu corazón.
By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:
By your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches—”
Therefore, thus says the Lord God: Because your heart has been exalted as if it were the heart of God,
Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios,
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;
“‘therefore the Lord GOD says: “Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,
for this reason, behold, I will lead over you foreigners, the most robust among the Gentiles. And they will bare their swords over the beauty of your wisdom, and they will defile your beauty.
Por tanto, he aquí yo traigo sobre ti extraños, los fuertes de las gentes, que desenvainarán su espadas contra la hermosura de tu sabiduría, y ensuciarán tu esplendor.
Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.
therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom. They will defile your brightness.
They will destroy you and pull you down. And you will die the death of those slain in the heart of the sea.
A la huesa te harán descender, y morirás de las muertes de los que mueren en medio de los mares.
They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.
They will bring you down to the pit. You will die the death of those who are slain in the heart of the seas.
So then, will you speak, in the presence of those who are destroying you, before the hand of those who are killing you, saying, ‘I am God,’ though you are a man, and not God?
¿Hablarás delante de tu matador, diciendo: Yo soy Dios? Tú, hombre eres, y no Dios, en la mano de tu matador.
Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.
Will you yet say before him who kills you, ‘I am God’? But you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.
You will die the death of the uncircumcised at the hand of foreigners. For I have spoken, says the Lord God.”
De muerte de incircuncisos morirás por mano de extraños: porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.
Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.
You will die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.’”
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying: “Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre,

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
and you shall say to him: Thus says the Lord God: You were the seal of similitudes, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre el rey de Tiro, y dile: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Tú echas el sello á la proporción, lleno de sabiduría, y acabado de hermosura.
Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
“Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, ‘The Lord GOD says: “You were the seal of full measure, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
You were with the delights of the Paradise of God. Every precious stone was your covering: sardius, topaz, and jasper, chrysolite, and onyx, and beryl, sapphire, and garnet, and emerald. The work of your beauty was of gold, and your fissures were ready in the day when you were formed.
En Edén, en el huerto de Dios estuviste: toda piedra preciosa fué tu vestidura; el sardio, topacio, diamante, crisólito, onique, y berilo, el zafiro, carbunclo, y esmeralda, y oro, los primores de tus tamboriles y pífanos estuvieron apercibidos para ti en el día de tu creación.
Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.
You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. They were prepared in the day that you were created.
You were a cherub, stretched out and protecting, and I stationed you on the holy mountain of God. You have walked in the midst of stones containing fire.
Tú, querubín grande, cubridor: y yo te puse; en el santo monte de Dios estuviste; en medio de piedras de fuego has andado.
Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
You were the anointed cherub who covers. Then I set you up on the holy mountain of God. You have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of fire.
You were perfect in your ways, from the day of your formation, until iniquity was found in you.
Perfecto eras en todos tus caminos desde el día que fuiste criado, hasta que se halló en ti maldad.
Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.
You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
By the multitude of your business dealings, your interior was filled with iniquity, and you sinned. And I cast you away from the mountain of God, and I perished you, O protecting cherub, from the midst of the stones containing fire.
A causa de la multitud de tu contratación fuiste lleno de iniquidad, y pecaste: por lo que yo te eché del monte de Dios, y te arrojé de entre las piedras del fuego, oh querubín cubridor.
By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
By the abundance of your commerce, your insides were filled with violence, and you have sinned. Therefore I have cast you as profane out of God’s mountain. I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the middle of the stones of fire.
And your heart was exalted by your beauty; you have destroyed your own wisdom by your beauty. I have cast you to the ground. I have presented you before the face of kings, so that they may examine you.
Enaltecióse tu corazón á causa de tu hermosura, corrompiste tu sabiduría á causa de tu resplandor: yo te arrojaré por tierra; delante de los reyes te pondré para que miren en ti.
Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I have cast you to the ground. I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.
You have defiled your sanctuaries, by the multitude of your iniquities and by the iniquity of your business dealings. Therefore, I will produce a fire from your midst, which will consume you, and I will make you into ashes upon the earth, in the sight of all who are watching you.
Con la multitud de tus maldades, y con la iniquidad de tu contratación ensuciaste tu santuario: yo pues saqué fuego de en medio de ti, el cual te consumió, y púsete en ceniza sobre la tierra á los ojos de todos los que te miran.
Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your commerce, you have profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought out a fire from the middle of you. It has devoured you. I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.
All who gaze upon you among the Gentiles will be stupefied over you. You were made out of nothing, and you shall not be, forever.”
Todos los que te conocieron de entre los pueblos, se maravillarán sobre ti: en espanto serás, y para siempre dejarás de ser.
All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.
All those who know you among the peoples will be astonished at you. You have become a terror, and you will exist no more.”’”
And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
“Son of man, set your face against Sidon, and you shall prophesy about it.
Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia Sidón, y profetiza contra ella;
Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,
“Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against it,
And you shall say: Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, Sidon, and I will be glorified in your midst. And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have executed judgments in her, and when I will have been sanctified in her.
Y dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Sidón, y en medio de ti seré glorificado: y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando hiciere en ella juicios, y en ella me santificare.
And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.
and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Sidon. I will be glorified among you. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have executed judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.
And I will send a pestilence upon her, and there will be blood in her streets. And they will fall, slain by the sword, on every side in her midst. And they shall know that I am the Lord.
Y enviaré á ella pestilencia y sangre en sus plazas; y caerán muertos en medio de ella, con espada contra ella alrededor; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets. The wounded will fall within her, with the sword on her on every side. Then they will know that I am the LORD.
And the house of Israel will no longer be a stumbling block of bitterness, nor a thorn bringing pain everywhere around them, to those who turn against them. And they shall know that I am the Lord God.”
Y nunca más será á la casa de Israel espino que le punce, ni espanto que le dé dolor, en todos los alrededores de los que los menosprecian; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
“‘“There will no longer be a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them that scorned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord GOD.”
Thus says the Lord God: “When I will have gathered together the house of Israel, from the peoples among whom they have been dispersed, I shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the Gentiles. And they shall live in their own land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Cuando juntaré la casa de Israel de los pueblos entre los cuales están esparcidos, entonces me santificaré en ellos á los ojos de las gentes, y habitarán en su tierra, la cual dí á mi siervo Jacob.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.
“‘The Lord GOD says: “When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am shown as holy among them in the sight of the nations, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.
And they shall live within it securely. And they shall build houses and plant vineyards. And they shall live in confidence, when I will have executed judgments upon all those who turn against them on every side. And they shall know that I am the Lord their God.”
Y habitarán en ella seguros, y edificarán casas, y plantarán viñas, y habitarán confiadamente, cuando yo haré juicios en todos los que los despojan en sus alrededores; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios.
And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
They will dwell in it securely. Yes, they will build houses, plant vineyards, and will dwell securely when I have executed judgments on all those around them who have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God.”’”
