Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
“Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Wail, ‘Alas for the day!’
Perciocchè vicino è il giorno, vicino è il giorno del Signore; sarà un giorno nuvoloso, il tempo delle nazioni.
Porque cerca está el día, cerca está el día del Señor; día de nublado, día de las gentes será.
For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
For the day is near, even the LORD’s day is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.
E la spada verrà sopra l'Egitto, e vi sarà spavento in Etiopia, quando gli uccisi caderanno in Egitto, e quando si menerà via la sua moltitudine, e quando i suoi fondamenti si disfaranno.
Y vendrá espada á Egipto, y habrá miedo en Etiopía, cuando caerán heridos en Egipto; y tomarán su multitud, y serán destruídos sus fundamentos.
And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.

Cus, e Put, e Lud, e tutto il popolo mischiato, e Cub, e que' del paese del patto, caderanno con loro per la spada.
Etiopía, y Libia, y Lidia, y todo el conjunto de pueblo, y Chûb, y los hijos de la tierra de la liga, caerán con ellos á cuchillo.
Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.
“‘“Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all the mixed people, Cub, and the children of the land that is allied with them, will fall with them by the sword.”
Così ha detto il Signore: Quelli che sostengono l'Egitto caderanno, e l'alterezza della sua forza sarà abbattuta; cadranno in esso per la spada, da Migdol a Sevene, dice il Signore Iddio;
Así ha dicho Jehová: También caerán los que sostienen á Egipto, y la altivez de su fortaleza caerá: desde Migdol hasta Seveneh caerán en él á cuchillo, dice el Señor Jehová.
Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
“‘The LORD says: “They also who uphold Egypt will fall. The pride of her power will come down. They will fall by the sword in it from the tower of Seveneh,” says the Lord GOD.

In quel giorno partiranno de' messi dalla mia presenza sopra navi, per ispaventar l'Etiopia, che se ne sta in sicurtà; e vi sarà fra loro lo spavento, come nel giorno di Egitto; perciocchè, ecco, la cosa viene.

Y en Tehaphnes será cerrado el día, cuando quebrantaré yo allí las barras de Egipto, y cesará en ella la soberbia de su fortaleza: nublado la cubrirá, y los moradores de sus aldeas irán en cautiverio.

Figliuol d'uomo, io ho rotto il braccio di Faraone, re di Egitto; ed ecco, non è stato curato, applicandovi de' medicamenti, e ponendovi delle fasce, per fasciarlo, e per fortificarlo, per poter tenere in mano la spada.
Hijo del hombre, quebrantado he el brazo de Faraón rey de Egipto; y he aquí que no ha sido vendado poniéndole medicinas, poniéndole faja para ligarlo, á fin de vigorizarle para que pueda tener espada.
Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
