"Filho do homem, profetiza e diz, 'Assim diz Yahweh Deus: Lamentai, 'Maldito é o dia que está por vir'.

Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Howl ye, Woe worth the day!
“Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Wail, ‘Alas for the day!’
O dia está perto sim, o dia de Yahweh. Será um dia de nuvens, uma hora de julgamento das nações.
Porque cerca está el día, cerca está el día del Señor; día de nublado, día de las gentes será.
For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.
For the day is near, even the LORD’s day is near. It will be a day of clouds, a time of the nations.
Depois uma espada virá contra o Egito e haverá angústia na Etiópia quando os mortos cairem no Egito, quando eles levarem a sua riqueza, e quando as suas fundações forem destruídas.
Y vendrá espada á Egipto, y habrá miedo en Etiopía, cuando caerán heridos en Egipto; y tomarán su multitud, y serán destruídos sus fundamentos.
And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.

Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.

Assim diz Yahweh: Os que apoiam o Egito cairão e o orgulho da sua força cairá. Desde Migdol até Sevene seus exércitos cairão pela espada — esta é a declaração de Yahweh Deus.
Así ha dicho Jehová: También caerán los que sostienen á Egipto, y la altivez de su fortaleza caerá: desde Migdol hasta Seveneh caerán en él á cuchillo, dice el Señor Jehová.
Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
“‘The LORD says: “They also who uphold Egypt will fall. The pride of her power will come down. They will fall by the sword in it from the tower of Seveneh,” says the Lord GOD.
Eles serão desolados no meio das terras abandonadas e as suas cidades estarão entre as cidades aruinadas.

E eles saberão que Eu sou Yahweh, quando Eu puser fogo no Egito e quando os que a ajudavam forem destruidos.

Neste dia, enviarei mensageiros em navios para aterrorizar a segurança da Etiópia e haverá angústia entre eles no dia do juízo do Egito. Eis que está vindo.
En aquel tiempo saldrán mensajeros de delante de mí en navíos, á espantar á Etiopía la confiada, y tendrán espanto como en el día de Egipto: porque he aquí viene.
In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh.

Assim diz Yahweh Deus: Eu darei fim às multidões do Egito pela mão de Nabucodonosor, o rei da Babilônia.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Haré cesar la multitud de Egipto por mano de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia.

Assim diz Yahweh Deus: Destruirei os ídolos e cessarei as imagens do ídolo de Mênfis. Não haverá mais um príncipe na terra do Egito e Eu trarei terror ao meio dela.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Destruiré también las imágenes, y haré cesar los ídolos de Memphis; y no habrá más príncipe de la tierra de Egipto, y en la tierra de Egipto pondré temor.

Então, no décimo primeiro ano, no primeiro mês, no sétimo dia do mês, a palavra do Yahweh veio a mim, dizendo:

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

"Filho do homem, Eu quebrei o braço do Faraó, o rei do Egito. Vê! Não foi atado e nem foram colocadas curativos para sarar, para tornar-se forte e conseguir manejar a espada.
Hijo del hombre, quebrantado he el brazo de Faraón rey de Egipto; y he aquí que no ha sido vendado poniéndole medicinas, poniéndole faja para ligarlo, á fin de vigorizarle para que pueda tener espada.
Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.
