So spricht der Herr Jehovah: Am Tage, da er in die Hölle hinunterfährt, lasse Ich trauern, lasse Ich sich bedecken über ihn den Abgrund, und halte ab seine Flüsse, daß den vielen Wassern gewehrt werde, und lasse sich verdunkeln über ihm den Libanon, und alle Bäume des Feldes um ihn schmachten.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que descendió á la sepultura, hice hacer luto, hice cubrir por él el abismo, y detuve sus ríos, y las muchas aguas fueron detenidas: y al Líbano cubrí de tinieblas por él, y todos los árboles del campo se desmayaron.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.
