Ezequiel 31

Et il arriva, la onzième année, au troisième †mois, le premier †jour du mois, que la parole de l’Éternel vint à moi, disant :

Y ACONTECIÓ en el año undécimo, en el mes tercero, al primero del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Fils d’homme, dis au Pharaon, roi d’Égypte, et à sa multitude : À qui es-tu semblable dans ta grandeur ?

Hijo del hombre, di á Faraón rey de Egipto, y á su pueblo: ¿A quién te comparaste en tu grandeza?

Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?

“Son of man, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt and his multitude: ‘Whom are you like in your greatness?

Voici, Assur était un cèdre sur le Liban, beau par sa ramure, et touffu, donnant de l’ombre, et de haute taille, et sa cime était au milieu des rameaux feuillus.

He aquí era el Asirio cedro en el Líbano, hermoso en ramas, y umbroso con sus ramos, y de grande altura, y su copa estaba entre densas ramas.

Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

Les eaux l’ont fait grandir, l’abîme l’a élevé en hauteur ; ses rivières coulaient autour de ses plants, et il envoyait ses canaux à tous les arbres des champs.

Las aguas lo hicieron crecer, encumbrólo el abismo: sus ríos iban alrededor de su pie, y á todos los árboles del campo enviaba sus corrientes.

The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.

The waters nourished it. The deep made it to grow. Its rivers ran all around its plantation. It sent out its channels to all the trees of the field.

C’est pourquoi sa hauteur s’éleva par-dessus tous les arbres des champs, et ses branches se multiplièrent et ses rameaux s’allongèrent, parce qu’il poussait à cause des grandes eaux.

Por tanto, se encumbró su altura sobre todos los árboles del campo, y multiplicáronse sus ramos, y á causa de las muchas aguas se alargaron sus ramas que había echado.

Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

Tous les oiseaux des cieux faisaient leurs nids dans ses rameaux, et toutes les bêtes des champs faisaient leurs petits sous ses branches, et toutes les nations nombreuses habitaient sous son ombre.

En sus ramas hacían nido todas las aves del cielo, y debajo de su ramaje parían todas las bestias del campo, y á su sombra habitaban muchas gentes.

All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

All the birds of the sky made their nests in its boughs. Under its branches, all the animals of the field gave birth to their young. All great nations lived under its shadow.

Et il était beau dans sa grandeur et dans la longueur de ses branches, parce que sa racine était auprès de grandes eaux.

Hízose, pues, hermoso en su grandeza con la extensión de sus ramas; porque su raíz estaba junto á muchas aguas.

Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

Les cèdres dans le jardin de Dieu ne le cachaient pas, les cyprès n’égalaient point ses rameaux, et les érables n’étaient pas comme ses branches ; aucun arbre dans le jardin de Dieu ne lui était semblable en beauté.

Los cedros no lo cubrieron en el huerto de Dios: las hayas no fueron semejantes á sus ramas, ni los castaños fueron semejantes á sus ramos: ningún árbol en el huerto de Dios fué semejante á él en su hermosura.

The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

The cedars in the garden of God could not hide it. The cypress trees were not like its branches. The pine trees were not like its branches; nor was any tree in the garden of God like it in its beauty.

Je l’avais fait beau dans la multitude de ses branches, et tous les arbres d’Éden, qui étaient dans le jardin de Dieu, lui portaient envie.

Hícelo hermoso con la multitud de sus ramas; y todos los árboles de Edén, que estaban en el huerto de Dios, tuvieron de él envidia.

I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.

C’est pourquoi, ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Parce que tu t’es élevé en hauteur…, et qu’il a dressé sa cime au milieu des rameaux feuillus et que son cœur s’est élevé dans sa hauteur,

Por tanto, así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto te encumbraste en altura, y puso su cumbre entre densas ramas, y su corazón se elevó con su altura,

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast lifted up thyself in height, and he hath shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;

“Therefore thus said the Lord GOD: ‘Because he is exalted in stature, and he has set his top among the thick branches, and his heart is lifted up in his height,

je l’ai livré en la main du puissant des nations ; il l’a traité à son gré. Je l’ai chassé à cause de son iniquité.

Yo lo entregaré en mano del fuerte de las gentes, que de cierto le manejará: por su impiedad lo he arrojado.

I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

Et des étrangers, les terribles d’entre les nations, l’ont coupé et l’ont laissé là ; ses branches sont tombées sur les montagnes et dans toutes les vallées, et ses rameaux ont été brisés dans tous les ravins de la terre ; et tous les peuples de la terre se sont retirés de dessous son ombre et l’ont laissé là.

Y le cortarán extraños, los fuertes de las gentes, y lo abandonarán: sus ramas caerán sobre los montes y por todos los valles, y por todas las arroyadas de la tierra serán quebrados sus ramos; é iránse de su sombra todos los pueblos de la tierra, y lo dejarán.

And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

Foreigners, the tyrants of the nations, have cut him off and have left him. His branches have fallen on the mountains and in all the valleys, and his boughs are broken by all the watercourses of the land. All the peoples of the earth have gone down from his shadow and have left him.

Tous les oiseaux des cieux demeurent sur son †tronc renversé, et toutes les bêtes des champs sont sur ses branches ;

Sobre su ruina habitarán todas las aves del cielo, y sobre su ramas estarán todas las bestias del campo:

Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:

All the birds of the sky will dwell on his ruin, and all the animals of the field will be on his branches,

afin qu’aucun des arbres †plantés près des eaux ne s’élève dans sa hauteur, et ne dresse sa cime au milieu des rameaux feuillus, et qu’aucun de ceux qui boivent des eaux ne se soutienne par lui-même dans sa hauteur ; car eux tous sont livrés à la mort, †pour s’en aller dans les lieux bas de la terre, au milieu des fils des hommes, vers ceux qui descendent dans la fosse.

Para que no se eleven en su altura los árboles todos de las aguas, ni levanten su cumbre entre las espesuras, ni en sus ramas se paren por su altura todos los que beben aguas: porque todos serán entregados á muerte, á la tierra baja, en medio de los hijos de los hombres, con los que descienden á la huesa.

To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

Ainsi dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel : Au jour de sa descente au shéol, je fis mener deuil ; à cause de lui, je couvris l’abîme et j’en retins les fleuves, et les grandes eaux furent arrêtées ; et à cause de lui, je mis en deuil le Liban, et tous les arbres des champs défaillirent à cause de lui.

Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que descendió á la sepultura, hice hacer luto, hice cubrir por él el abismo, y detuve sus ríos, y las muchas aguas fueron detenidas: y al Líbano cubrí de tinieblas por él, y todos los árboles del campo se desmayaron.

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

“The Lord GOD says: ‘In the day when he went down to Sheol, I caused a mourning. I covered the deep for him, and I restrained its rivers. The great waters were stopped. I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

Du bruit de sa chute je fis trembler les nations, quand je le fis descendre dans le shéol avec ceux qui descendent dans la fosse ; et tous les arbres d’Éden, l’élite et le meilleur du Liban, tous ceux qui buvaient des eaux, furent consolés dans les lieux bas de la terre.

Del estruendo de su caída hice temblar las gentes, cuando les hice descender á la fosa con todos los que descienden á la sepultura; y todos los árboles de Edén escogidos, y los mejores del Líbano, todos los que beben aguas, tomaron consolación en la tierra baja.

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

Ceux-là aussi sont descendus avec lui dans le shéol, vers ceux qui ont été tués par l’épée, et †qui, étant son bras, habitaient sous son ombre au milieu des nations. –

También ellos descendieron con él á la fosa, con los muertos á cuchillo, los que fueron su brazo, los que estuvieron á su sombra en medio de las gentes.

They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

They also went down into Sheol with him to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were his arm, who lived under his shadow in the middle of the nations.

À qui es-tu semblable ainsi, en gloire et en grandeur, parmi les arbres d’Éden ? Ainsi tu seras abaissé avec les arbres d’Éden jusque dans les lieux bas de la terre ; tu seras couché, au milieu des incirconcis, avec ceux qui ont été tués par l’épée. C’est là le Pharaon et toute sa multitude, dit le Seigneur, l’Éternel.

¿A quién te has comparado así en gloria y en grandeza entre los árboles de Edén? Pues derribado serás con los árboles de Edén en la tierra baja: entre los incircuncisos yacerás, con los muertos á cuchillo. Este es Faraón y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Jehová.

To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

“‘To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet you will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lower parts of the earth. You will lie in the middle of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword. “‘This is Pharaoh and all his multitude,’ says the Lord GOD.”
