Hijo del hombre, di á Faraón rey de Egipto, y á su pueblo: ¿A quién te comparaste en tu grandeza?
Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom art thou like in thy greatness?
“Son of man, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt and his multitude: ‘Whom are you like in your greatness?
Voilà qu'Assur était un cyprès du Liban, et il était beau par ses branches, par la hauteur de sa tige et par sa cime s'élevant au milieu des nuées.
He aquí era el Asirio cedro en el Líbano, hermoso en ramas, y umbroso con sus ramos, y de grande altura, y su copa estaba entre densas ramas.

Les eaux l'avaient nourri ; l'abîme l'avait fait croître en conduisant ses fleuves autour de ses racines, et ses ondes se répandaient vers tous les arbres des champs.
Las aguas lo hicieron crecer, encumbrólo el abismo: sus ríos iban alrededor de su pie, y á todos los árboles del campo enviaba sus corrientes.
The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent out her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.
The waters nourished it. The deep made it to grow. Its rivers ran all around its plantation. It sent out its channels to all the trees of the field.
Aussi dépassait-il en hauteur tous les arbres des champs, et ses rameaux s'étaient déployés, grâce à l'abondance des eaux.
Por tanto, se encumbró su altura sobre todos los árboles del campo, y multiplicáronse sus ramos, y á causa de las muchas aguas se alargaron sus ramas que había echado.

Tous les oiseaux du ciel faisaient leurs nids dans ses branches, et toutes les bêtes des champs mettaient bas sous son feuillage, une multitude de nations habitaient sous son ombre.
En sus ramas hacían nido todas las aves del cielo, y debajo de su ramaje parían todas las bestias del campo, y á su sombra habitaban muchas gentes.
All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.
All the birds of the sky made their nests in its boughs. Under its branches, all the animals of the field gave birth to their young. All great nations lived under its shadow.
Il était beau par sa grandeur et par la multitude de ses rameaux ; car ses racines étaient arrosées d'une eau abondante.
Hízose, pues, hermoso en su grandeza con la extensión de sus ramas; porque su raíz estaba junto á muchas aguas.
Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

Los cedros no lo cubrieron en el huerto de Dios: las hayas no fueron semejantes á sus ramas, ni los castaños fueron semejantes á sus ramos: ningún árbol en el huerto de Dios fué semejante á él en su hermosura.
The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

Pour la multitude de ses rameaux. Et les arbres du paradis de délices de Dieu lui portaient envie.
Hícelo hermoso con la multitud de sus ramas; y todos los árboles de Edén, que estaban en el huerto de Dios, tuvieron de él envidia.

À cause de cela, voici ce que dit le Seigneur : En punition de ce que tu as tant grandi, de ce que tu as élevé ta cime au milieu des nuées, et que je l'ai vu se glorifier ainsi,
Por tanto, así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto te encumbraste en altura, y puso su cumbre entre densas ramas, y su corazón se elevó con su altura,

Je l'ai livré aux mains du prince des nations, et il a préparé sa ruine.
Yo lo entregaré en mano del fuerte de las gentes, que de cierto le manejará: por su impiedad lo he arrojado.
I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

Et des hommes de pestilence, des étrangers, venus des nation l'ont détruit, et ils l'ont abattu sur les montagnes ; ses rameaux sont tombés dans tous les vallons ; sa tige a été brisée dans toutes les plaines de la terre, et tous les peuples des nations se sont retirés de son ombre, et ils l'ont rasé au niveau du sol.
Y le cortarán extraños, los fuertes de las gentes, y lo abandonarán: sus ramas caerán sobre los montes y por todos los valles, y por todas las arroyadas de la tierra serán quebrados sus ramos; é iránse de su sombra todos los pueblos de la tierra, y lo dejarán.
And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

Sur ses ruines se sont reposés tous les oiseaux du ciel, et toutes les bêtes des champs se sont blotties sous ses grosses branches ;
Sobre su ruina habitarán todas las aves del cielo, y sobre su ramas estarán todas las bestias del campo:
Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:
All the birds of the sky will dwell on his ruin, and all the animals of the field will be on his branches,
Afin que nul des arbres qui croissent au bord des eaux ne se glorifiât de sa grandeur. Ils ont élevé leur cime au milieu des nues ; mais ils ne se maintiendront pas en leur élévation ; tous ces arbres, baignés des eaux, ont tous été donnés à la mort ; ils iront tous au fond de la terre, au milieu des fils des hommes, avec ceux qui descendent à l'abîme.
Para que no se eleven en su altura los árboles todos de las aguas, ni levanten su cumbre entre las espesuras, ni en sus ramas se paren por su altura todos los que beben aguas: porque todos serán entregados á muerte, á la tierra baja, en medio de los hijos de los hombres, con los que descienden á la huesa.
To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

Et voici ce que dit le Seigneur Maître : Le jour où cet arbre est descendu aux enfers, l'abîme a pleuré sur lui. Et j'ai suspendu le cours de tous ses fleuves, et j'ai arrêté les grandes eaux qui l'arrosaient ; et le Liban, à cause de lui, s'est couvert de ténèbres, et tous les arbres se sont affaissés de douleur.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que descendió á la sepultura, hice hacer luto, hice cubrir por él el abismo, y detuve sus ríos, y las muchas aguas fueron detenidas: y al Líbano cubrí de tinieblas por él, y todos los árboles del campo se desmayaron.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

Au bruit de sa chute, les nations ont tremblé ; car je l'ai fait descendre aux enfers avec ceux qui étaient tombés dans l'abîme ; et tous les arbres de délices de la terre le consolaient, et tous les beaux arbres du Liban arrosés par les eaux.
Del estruendo de su caída hice temblar las gentes, cuando les hice descender á la fosa con todos los que descienden á la sepultura; y todos los árboles de Edén escogidos, y los mejores del Líbano, todos los que beben aguas, tomaron consolación en la tierra baja.
I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

También ellos descendieron con él á la fosa, con los muertos á cuchillo, los que fueron su brazo, los que estuvieron á su sombra en medio de las gentes.
They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.
They also went down into Sheol with him to those who are slain by the sword; yes, those who were his arm, who lived under his shadow in the middle of the nations.
À quoi te comparer ? Descends ; sois entraîné, avec tous les arbres de délices, au plus profond de la terre ; tu seras étendu au milieu des incirconcis avec les morts frappés par le glaive. Tel sera le Pharaon, telle sera la multitude qui faisait sa force, dit le Seigneur Maître.
¿A quién te has comparado así en gloria y en grandeza entre los árboles de Edén? Pues derribado serás con los árboles de Edén en la tierra baja: entre los incircuncisos yacerás, con los muertos á cuchillo. Este es Faraón y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Jehová.
To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
“‘To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? Yet you will be brought down with the trees of Eden to the lower parts of the earth. You will lie in the middle of the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword. “‘This is Pharaoh and all his multitude,’ says the Lord GOD.”
