1Y aconteció en el año duodécimo, en el mes duodécimo, el primer día del mes, que la palabra del Señor vino a mí, diciendo:
2Hijo del hombre, canta un canto de tristeza para el faraón, rey de Egipto, y dile: Joven león de las naciones, ha llegado la destrucción sobre ti; y tú eras como una bestia marina en el mar, enviando ráfagas de agua, enturbiando las aguas con tus pies, enturbiando sus arroyos.
3Esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor Dios: Mi red se extenderá sobre ti en compañía de mucha gente, y ellos te subirán en mi red.
4Y dejaré que te extiendas sobre la tierra; Te echaré violentamente al campo abierto; Dejaré que todas las aves del cielo descansen sobre ti y haré que las bestias de toda la tierra se llenen de ti.
5Y pondré tu carne sobre los montes, y llenaré los valles de tu altura.
6Y la tierra será regada con tu sangre, y los cursos de agua estarán llenos de ti.
7Y cuando yo extinga tu vida, el cielo se cubrirá y sus estrellas se oscurecerán; Dejaré que el sol se cubra con una nube y la luna no le dará luz.
8Todas las luces brillantes del cielo oscurecerán sobre ti, y pondré noche oscura en tu tierra, dice el Señor Dios.
9Y los corazones de los pueblos se turbarán cuando yo envíe destrucción entre las naciones, hasta países que no has conocido.
10Y haré que muchos pueblos se queden atónitos ante ti, y sus reyes se llenarán de temor por ti, cuando mi espada se agite ante ellos: estarán temblando cada minuto, cada hombre temiendo por su vida, en el día de tu caída.
11Porque esto es lo que ha dicho el Señor Dios: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.
12Dejaré que las espadas de los fuertes sean la causa de la caída de tu pueblo; todos ellos hombres crueles entre las naciones, y destruirán el orgullo de Egipto, y toda su gente será destruida.
13Y pondré fin a todas sus bestias que están junto a las muchas aguas, y nunca más serán molestadas por el pie del hombre o por las pezuñas de las bestias.
14Entonces aclararé sus aguas y sus ríos fluirán como aceite, dice el Señor Dios.
15Cuando yo haga de Egipto una ruina, despojándolo de la tierra de todas las cosas que contiene; cuando envíe castigo a todos los que viven en ella, les quedará claro que yo soy Dios.
16Es un canto de dolor, y la gente lo cantará, las hijas de las naciones lo cantarán, incluso por Egipto y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Dios.
17Y en el año duodécimo, a los quince días del mes, vino a mí la palabra del Señor, diciendo:
18Hijo de hombre, que tu voz sea fuerte en el dolor por la multitud de Egipto y hazlos descender, a ella y las hijas de las naciones poderosas; Los enviaré a las partes más bajas de la tierra, con los que descienden al inframundo.
19¿Eres más bella que ninguna? desciende y descansa entre los que no tienen circuncisión,
20Entre los que han sido puestos a la espada ellos caerán; a la espada es entregada, la sacaron con toda la multitud.
21Los fuertes entre los poderosos le dirán desde él medio del Seol; desciende, tú y tus ayudantes, y descansa entre los que no tienen circuncisión.
22Allí está Asiria y todo su ejército, alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos muertos por la espada.
23Cuyos tumbas se encuentran en los partes más profundas de la fosa, y está rodeada de toda su multitud, todos ellos muertos a espada, que fueron causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos.
24Están Elam y toda su gente, alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos muertos por la espada, que han descendido sin circuncisión a las partes más bajas de la tierra, que fueron causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos, y llevarán su vergüenza con los que descienden al pozo.
25Le han hecho una cama entre los muertos, y toda su gente está alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos sin la circuncisión, muertos con la espada; porque fueron causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos, y llevan su vergüenza con los que descienden al inframundo; se les ha dado un lugar entre los muertos.
26Allí están Mesec, Tubal y toda su gente alrededor de su tumba; todos ellos sin circuncisión, muertos por la espada; porque eran causa de temor en la tierra de los vivos.
27Pero no yacen junto a los valientes caídos, de entre los incircuncisos que llegaron a su fin, que bajaron al inframundo con sus instrumentos de guerra, colocando sus espadas debajo de sus cabezas, pero sus iniquidades estarán sobre sus huesos; porque fueron causa de temor en los valientes en la tierra de los vivos.
28Pero serás quebrantado entre los que no tienen circuncisión, y tendrás tu tumba con los que han muerto con la espada.
29Está Edom, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, quienes son sepultados con los que fueron sometidos a la espada; descansan entre los que no han sido circuncidados, con los que descienden al inframundo.
30Hay todos los jefes del norte, todos ellos, y todos los sidonios, que a pesar del terror causado por su poderío, han caído con los que han sido muertos a la espada; son avergonzados por todo el miedo causado por su fuerza; descansan allí sin circuncisión, entre los que han sido sometidos a la espada, y son avergonzados con los que descienden a la fosa.
31Faraón los verá y lamentará a causa de todo su pueblo; incluso el Faraón y todo su ejército, muerto por la espada, dice el Señor Dios.
32Porque yo infundí el terror de Faraón en la tierra de los vivos, y yacerá entre los que no tienen circuncisión, y los que han sido muertos con la espada, incluso el Faraón y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Dios..

1Y ACONTECIÓ en el año duodécimo, en el mes duodécimo, al primero del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
2Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre Faraón rey de Egipto, y dile: A leoncillo de gentes eres semejante, y eres como la ballena en los mares: que secabas tus ríos, y enturbiabas las aguas con tus pies, y hollabas sus riberas.
3Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo extenderé sobre ti mi red con reunión de muchos pueblos, y te harán subir con mi esparavel.
4Y te dejaré en tierra, te echaré sobre la haz del campo, y haré que se asienten sobre ti todas las aves del cielo, y hartaré de ti las bestias de toda la tierra.
5Y pondré tus carnes sobre los montes, y henchiré los valles de tu altura.
6Y regaré de tu sangre la tierra donde nadas, hasta los montes; y los arroyos se henchirán de ti.
7Y cuando te habré muerto, cubriré los cielos, y haré entenebrecer sus estrellas: el sol cubriré con nublado, y la luna no hará resplandecer su luz.
8Todas las lumbreras de luz haré entenebrecer en el cielo por ti, y pondré tinieblas sobre tu tierra, dice el Señor Jehová.
9Y entristeceré el corazón de muchos pueblos, cuando llevaré tu quebrantamiento sobre las gentes, por las tierras que no conociste.
10Y haré atónitos sobre ti muchos pueblos, y sus reyes tendrán á causa de ti horror grande, cuando haré resplandecer mi espada delante de sus rostros; y todos se sobresaltarán en sus ánimos á cada momento en el día de tu caída.
11Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.
12Con espadas de fuertes haré caer tu pueblo; todos ellos serán los fuertes de las gentes: y destruirán la soberbia de Egipto, y toda su multitud será deshecha.
13Todas sus bestias destruiré de sobre las muchas aguas: ni más las enturbiará pie de hombre, ni uña de bestias las enturbiarán.
14Entonces haré asentarse sus aguas, y haré ir sus ríos como aceite, dice el Señor Jehová.
15Cuando asolaré la tierra de Egipto, y la tierra fuere asolada de su plenitud, cuando heriré á todos los que en ella moran, sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
16Esta es la endecha, y cantarla han: las hijas de las gentes la cantarán: endecharán sobre Egipto, y sobre toda su multitud, dice el Señor Jehová.
17Y aconteció en el año duodécimo, á los quince del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
18Hijo del hombre, endecha sobre la multitud de Egipto, y despéñalo á él, y á las villas de las gentes fuertes, en la tierra de los profundos, con los que descienden á la sepultura.
19Porque eres tan hermoso, desciende, y yace con los incircuncisos.
20Entre los muertos á cuchillo caerán: al cuchillo es entregado: traedlo á él y á todos sus pueblos.
21De en medio del infierno hablarán á él los fuertes de los fuertes, con los que le ayudaron, que descendieron, y yacen con los incircuncisos muertos á cuchillo.
22Allí Assur con toda su gente: en derredor de él están sus sepulcros: todos ellos cayeron muertos á cuchillo.
23Sus sepulcros fueron puestos á los lados de la fosa, y su gente está por los alrededores de su sepulcro: todos ellos cayeron muertos á cuchillo, los cuales pusieron miedo en la tierra de los vivientes.
24Allí Elam, y toda su multitud por los alrededores de su sepulcro: todos ellos cayeron muertos á cuchillo, los cuales descendieron incircuncisos á los más profundos lugares de la tierra, porque pusieron su terror en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.
25En medio de los muertos le pusieron cama con toda su multitud: á sus alrededores están sus sepulcros: todos ellos incircuncisos muertos á cuchillo, porque fué puesto su espanto en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro: él fué puesto en medio de los muertos.
26Allí Mesech, y Tubal, y toda su multitud: sus sepulcros en sus alrededores: todos ellos incircuncisos muertos á cuchillo, porque habían dado su terror en la tierra de los vivientes.
27Y no yacerán con los fuertes que cayeron de los incircuncisos, los cuales descendieron al sepulcro con sus armas de guerra, y pusieron sus espadas debajo de sus cabezas: mas sus pecados estarán sobre sus huesos, porque fueron terror de fuertes en la tierra de los vivientes.
28Tú pues serás quebrantado entre los incircuncisos, y yacerás con los muertos á cuchillo.
29Allí Idumea, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, los cuales con su fortaleza fueron puestos con los muertos á cuchillo: ellos yacerán con los incircuncisos, y con los que descienden al sepulcro.
30Allí los príncipes del aquilón, todos ellos, y todos los de Sidón, que con su terror descendieron con los muertos, avergonzados de su fortaleza, yacen también incircuncisos con los muertos á cuchillo, y llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.
31A estos verá Faraón, y consolaráse sobre toda su multitud; Faraón muerto á cuchillo, y todo su ejército, dice el Señor Jehová.
32Porque yo puse mi terror en la tierra de los vivientes, también yacerá entre los incircuncisos con los muertos á cuchillo, Faraón y toda su multitud, dice el Señor Jehová.

1And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.
3Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over thee with a company of many people; and they shall bring thee up in my net.
4Then will I leave thee upon the land, I will cast thee forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon thee, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with thee.
5And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.
6I will also water with thy blood the land wherein thou swimmest, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of thee.
7And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
8All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over thee, and set darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord GOD.
9I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring thy destruction among the nations, into the countries which thou hast not known.
10Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall.
11For thus saith the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon thee.
12By the swords of the mighty will I cause thy multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.
13I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.
14Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, saith the Lord GOD.
15When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall smite all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.
16This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, saith the Lord GOD.
17It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
18Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.
19Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.
20They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.
21The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.
22Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:
23Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.
24There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.
25They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.

31Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.
32For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

1In the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2“Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and tell him, ‘You were likened to a young lion of the nations; yet you are as a monster in the seas. You broke out with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.’”
3The Lord GOD says: “I will spread out my net on you with a company of many peoples. They will bring you up in my net.
4I will leave you on the land. I will cast you out on the open field, and will cause all the birds of the sky to settle on you. I will satisfy the animals of the whole earth with you.
5I will lay your flesh on the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.
6I will also water the land in which you swim with your blood, even to the mountains. The watercourses will be full of you.
7When I extinguish you, I will cover the heavens and make its stars dark. I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon won’t give its light.
8I will make all the bright lights of the sky dark over you, and set darkness on your land,” says the Lord GOD.
9“I will also trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

12I will cause your multitude to fall by the swords of the mighty. They are all the ruthless of the nations. They will bring the pride of Egypt to nothing, and all its multitude will be destroyed.
13I will destroy also all its animals from beside many waters. The foot of man won’t trouble them any more, nor will the hoofs of animals trouble them.
14Then I will make their waters clear, and cause their rivers to run like oil,” says the Lord GOD.
15“When I make the land of Egypt desolate and waste, a land destitute of that of which it was full, when I strike all those who dwell therein, then they will know that I am the LORD.
16“‘“This is the lamentation with which they will lament. The daughters of the nations will lament with this. They will lament with it over Egypt, and over all her multitude,” says the Lord GOD.’”
