Ezequiel 33

Und siehe, du mußt ihnen sein wie ein liebliches Liedlein, wie einer, der eine schöne Stimme hat und wohl spielen kann. Also werden sie deine Worte hören und nicht darnach tun.

Y he aquí que tú eres á ellos como cantor de amores, gracioso de voz y que canta bien: y oirán tus palabras, mas no las pondrán por obra.

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

Behold, you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they don’t do them.
