Pois tu és como uma bela canção para eles, um maravilhoso som que é tocado com um instrumento de corda, por isso ouvirão as tuas palavras, mas nenhum deles as obedecerão.

Y he aquí que tú eres á ellos como cantor de amores, gracioso de voz y que canta bien: y oirán tus palabras, mas no las pondrán por obra.

And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

Behold, you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they don’t do them.
