Mas tú, ¡oh hijo de hombre!, profetiza acerca de los montes de Israel, y dirás: Montes de Israel, escuchad la palabra del Señor.
Y TÚ, hijo del hombre, profetiza sobre los montes de Israel, y di: Montes de Israel, oid palabra de Jehová:
Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:
You, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, “You mountains of Israel, hear the LORD’s word.
Esto dice el Señor Dios: Porque el enemigo ha dicho de vosotros: Bueno, bien está; se nos han dado a nosotros como en herencia los eternos montes de Israel.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto el enemigo dijo sobre vosotros: ¡Ea! también las alturas perpetuas nos han sido por heredad;
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
The Lord GOD says: ‘Because the enemy has said against you, “Aha!” and, “The ancient high places are ours in possession!”’
Por tanto profetiza y di: Esto dice el Señor Dios: Porque vosotros habéis sido asolados y hollados por todas partes, y habéis venido a ser como herencia de otras naciones, y andáis en boca de todos, hechos el escarnio de la gente:
Profetiza por tanto, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Pues por cuanto asolándoos y tragándoos de todas partes, para que fueseis heredad á las otras gentes, se os ha hecho andar en boca de lenguas, y ser el oprobio de los pueblos,
Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:
therefore prophesy, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Because, even because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that you might be a possession to the residue of the nations, and you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and the evil report of the people;”
por tanto, oíd, ¡oh montes de Israel!, la palabra del Señor Dios: Esto dice el Señor Dios a los montes, y a los collados, a los arroyos y a los valles, y a los desiertos, y a las murallas derrocadas, y a las ciudades abandonadas que han quedado sin moradores, y son la mofa de todas las demás naciones circunvecinas.
Por tanto, montes de Israel, oid palabra del Señor Jehová: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á los montes y á los collados, á los arroyos y á los valles, á las ruinas y asolamientos, y á las ciudades desamparadas, que fueron puestas á saco y en escarnio á las otras gentes alrededor;
Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;
therefore, you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD: The Lord GOD says to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes and to the cities that are forsaken, which have become a prey and derision to the residue of the nations that are all around;
He aquí lo que el Señor Dios dice: En medio del ardor de mi celo he hablado yo contra las otras naciones y contra toda la Idumea; las cuales llenas de gozo se han apropiado para sí, y con todo su corazón y voluntad, la tierra mía, y han arrojado de ella a sus herederos para saquearla.
Por eso, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He hablado por cierto en el fuego de mi celo contra las demás gentes, y contra toda Idumea, que se disputaron mi tierra por heredad con alegría de todo corazón, con enconamiento de ánimo, para que sus expelidos fuesen presa.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.
therefore the Lord GOD says: “Surely in the fire of my jealousy I have spoken against the residue of the nations, and against all Edom, that have appointed my land to themselves for a possession with the joy of all their heart, with despite of soul, to cast it out for a prey.”’
Por tanto profetiza acerca de la tierra de Israel, y dirás a los montes y collados, a los cerros y a los valles: Esto dice el Señor Dios: He aquí que yo he hablado en medio de mi celo y furor, porque vosotros habéis sufrido los insultos de las naciones.
Por tanto, profetiza sobre la tierra de Israel, y di á los montes y á los collados, y á los arroyos y á los valles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, en mi celo y en mi furor he hablado, por cuanto habéis llevado el oprobio de las gentes.
Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:
Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel, and tell the mountains, the hills, the watercourses and the valleys, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my wrath, because you have borne the shame of the nations.”
Por lo cual esto dice el Señor Dios: Yo he levantado mi mano, jurando que las naciones que están alrededor vuestro, ellas mismas llevarán sobre sí su ignominia.
Por lo cual así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo he alzado mi mano, que las gentes que os están alrededor han de llevar su afrenta.
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.
Therefore the Lord GOD says: “I have sworn, ‘Surely the nations that are around you will bear their shame.’
Vosotros, ¡oh montes de Israel!, brotad vuestros retoños, producid vuestros frutos para el pueblo mío de Israel, porque está ya cercana su vuelta del cautiverio:
Mas vosotros, oh montes de Israel, daréis vuestros ramos, y llevaréis vuestro fruto á mi pueblo Israel; porque cerca están para venir.
But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.
“‘“But you, mountains of Israel, you shall shoot out your branches and yield your fruit to my people Israel; for they are at hand to come.
Porque vedme aquí hacia vosotros, a vosotros me vuelvo, y seréis arados y sembrados.
Porque heme aquí á vosotros, y á vosotros me volveré, y seréis labrados y sembrados.
For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:
For, behold, I am for you, and I will come to you, and you will be tilled and sown.
Y multiplicaré en vosotros la gente y toda la familia de Israel, y las ciudades serán pobladas, y los lugares arruinados se restaurarán.
Y haré multiplicar sobre vosotros hombres, á toda la casa de Israel, toda ella; y las ciudades han de ser habitadas, y serán edificadas las ruinas.
And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:
I will multiply men on you, all the house of Israel, even all of it. The cities will be inhabited and the waste places will be built.
Y os henchiré de hombres y de bestias, que se multiplicarán y crecerán, y haré que seais poblados como antiguamente, y os daré bienes más grandes que los que tuvisteis desde el principio , y conoceréis que yo soy el Señor.
Y multiplicaré sobre vosotros hombres y bestias, y serán multiplicados y crecerán: y os haré morar como solíais antiguamente, y os haré más bien que en vuestros principios; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
I will multiply man and animal on you. They will increase and be fruitful. I will cause you to be inhabited as you were before, and you will do better than at your beginnings. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
Y os conduciré hombres, os traeré el pueblo mío de Israel, y éste os poseerá y heredará; y vosotros seréis su herencia, y nunca más volverá ésta a quedar privada de ellos.
Y haré andar hombres sobre vosotros, á mi pueblo Israel; y te poseerán, y les serás por heredad, y nunca más les matarás los hijos.
Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.
Yes, I will cause men to walk on you, even my people Israel. They will possess you, and you will be their inheritance, and you will never again bereave them of their children.”
Esto dice el Señor Dios: Por cuanto dicen de vosotros que sois una tierra que devora los hombres, y se traga sus gentes,
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dicen de vosotros: Comedora de hombres, y matadora de los hijos de tus gentes has sido:
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;
“‘The Lord GOD says: “Because they say to you, ‘You are a devourer of men, and have been a bereaver of your nation;’
por eso en adelante no podrá decirse que tú, ¡oh tierra de Israel!, te comas más los hombres, ni mates más tu gente, dice el Señor Dios.
Por tanto, no devorarás más hombres, y nunca más matarás los hijos á tus gentes, dice el Señor Jehová.
Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.
therefore you shall devour men no more, and not bereave your nation any more,” says the Lord GOD.
Pues yo haré que no oigas más los insultos de las naciones, ni tengas que sufrir ya los oprobios de los pueblos, ni pierdas jamás tus habitantes, dice el Señor Dios.
Y nunca más te haré oir injuria de gentes, ni más llevarás denuestos de pueblos, ni harás más morir los hijos á tus gentes, dice el Señor Jehová.
Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.
“I won’t let you hear the shame of the nations any more. You won’t bear the reproach of the peoples any more, and you won’t cause your nation to stumble any more,” says the Lord GOD.’”
Me habló nuevamente el Señor, diciendo:
Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
Hijo de hombre, los de la familia de Israel habitaron en su tierra, y la contaminaron con sus obras y costumbres; era su vida ante mis ojos como la inmundicia de la mujer menstruosa.
Hijo del hombre, morando en su tierra la casa de Israel, la contaminaron con sus caminos y con sus obras: como inmundicia de menstruosa fué su camino delante de mí.
Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.
“Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and by their deeds. Their way before me was as the uncleanness of a woman in her impurity.
Y yo descargué sobre ellos la indignación mía, en castigo de la sangre que derramaron sobre la tierra, la cual contaminaron con sus ídolos.
Y derramé mi ira sobre ellos por las sangres que derramaron sobre la tierra; porque con sus ídolos la contaminaron.
Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:
Therefore I poured out my wrath on them for the blood which they had poured out on the land, and because they had defiled it with their idols.
Y yo los dispersé entre las naciones, y fueron arrojados aquí y allá a todos los vientos, los juzgué según sus procederes y conducta.
Y esparcílos por las gentes, y fueron aventados por las tierras: conforme á sus caminos y conforme á sus obras los juzgué.
And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.
I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. I judged them according to their way and according to their deeds.
Y llegados a las naciones, entre las cuales fueron dispersados, causaron la deshonra de mi santo Nombre, diciéndose de ellos: Este es el pueblo del Señor; de la tierra de él han tenido éstos que salirse.
Y entrados á las gentes á donde fueron, profanaron mi santo nombre, diciéndose de ellos: Estos son pueblo de Jehová, y de su tierra de él han salido.
And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.
When they came to the nations where they went, they profaned my holy name, in that men said of them, ‘These are the LORD’s people, and have left his land.’
Os perdoné, pues, por amor de mi santo Nombre, al cual deshonraba la casa de Israel entre las naciones en donde habita.
Y he tenido lástima en atención á mi santo nombre, el cual profanó la casa de Israel entre las gentes á donde fueron.
But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.
But I had respect for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations where they went.
Por tanto, di a la casa de Israel: Esto dice el Señor Dios: No lo haré por vosotros, ¡oh casa de Israel!, sino por amor de mi santo Nombre, que vosotros deshonrasteis entre las naciones en que vivís.
Por tanto, di á la casa de Israel: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: No lo hago por vosotros, oh casa de Israel, sino por causa de mi santo nombre, el cual profanasteis vosotros entre las gentes á donde habéis llegado.
Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name’s sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.
“Therefore tell the house of Israel, ‘The Lord GOD says: “I don’t do this for your sake, house of Israel, but for my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you went.
Yo glorificaré, pues, mi gran Nombre, que se halla deshonrado entre las naciones, por haberlo vosotros deshonrado a los ojos de ellas; para que las naciones sepan que yo soy el Señor, cuando a su vista haya hecho patente en vosotros la santidad mía, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
Y santificaré mi grande nombre profanado entre las gentes, el cual profanasteis vosotros en medio de ellas; y sabrán las gentes que yo soy Jehová, dice el Señor Jehová, cuando fuere santificado en vosotros delante de sus ojos.
And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD,” says the Lord GOD, “when I am proven holy in you before their eyes.
Porque yo os sacaré de entre las naciones, y os recogeré de todos los países, y os conduciré a vuestra tierra.
Y yo os tomaré de las gentes, y os juntaré de todas las tierras, y os traeré á vuestro país.
For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.
“‘“For I will take you from among the nations and gather you out of all the countries, and will bring you into your own land.
Y derramaré sobre vosotros agua pura, y quedaréis purificados de todas las inmundicias, y os limpiaré de todas vuestras idolatrías.
Y esparciré sobre vosotros agua limpia, y seréis limpiados de todas vuestras inmundicias; y de todos vuestros ídolos os limpiaré.
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
Y os daré un nuevo corazón, y pondré en medio de vosotros un nuevo espíritu, y quitaré de vuestro cuerpo el corazón de piedra, y os daré un corazón de carne.
Y os daré corazón nuevo, y pondré espíritu nuevo dentro de vosotros; y quitaré de vuestra carne el corazón de piedra, y os daré corazón de carne.
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Y pondré el espíritu mío en medio de vosotros, y haré que guardéis mis preceptos, y observéis mis leyes, y las practiquéis.

And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Y habitaréis en la tierra que yo di a vuestros padres, y vosotros seréis el pueblo mío, y yo seré vuestro Dios.
Y habitaréis en la tierra que dí á vuestros padres; y vosotros me seréis por pueblo, y yo seré á vosotros por Dios.
And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
You will dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers. You will be my people, and I will be your God.
Y os purificaré de todas vuestras inmundicias; y haré venir el trigo, y lo multiplicaré; nunca os haré padecer hambre.
Y os guardaré de todas vuestras inmundicias; y llamaré al trigo, y lo multiplicaré, y no os daré hambre.
I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.
I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and will multiply it, and lay no famine on you.
Y multiplicaré los frutos de los árboles, y las cosechas del campo, a fin de que jamás las naciones os echen en cara que os morís de hambre.
Multiplicaré asimismo el fruto de los árboles, y el fruto de los campos, porque nunca más recibáis oprobio de hambre entre las gentes.
And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.
I will multiply the fruit of the tree and the increase of the field, that you may receive no more the reproach of famine among the nations.
Vosotros entonces traeréis a la memoria vuestras perversas costumbres y depravados afectos, y miraréis con amargura las maldades e iniquidades vuestras.
Y os acordaréis de vuestros malos caminos, y de vuestras obras que no fueron buenas; y os avergonzaréis de vosotros mismos por vuestras iniquidades, y por vuestras abominaciones.
Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
“‘“Then you will remember your evil ways, and your deeds that were not good; and you will loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
Mas esto no lo haré yo por amor de vosotros, dice el Señor Dios, tenedlo así entendido; confundíos y avergonzaos de vuestros procederes, oh vosotros los de la casa de Israel.
No lo hago por vosotros, dice el Señor Jehová, séaos notorio: avergonzaos y confundíos de vuestras iniquidades, casa de Israel.
Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.
I don’t do this for your sake,” says the Lord GOD. “Let it be known to you. Be ashamed and confounded for your ways, house of Israel.”
Esto dice el Señor Dios: En el día en que yo os purifique de todas vuestras maldades, y poblaré vuestras ciudades, y repararé lo arruinado,
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que os limpiaré de todas vuestras iniquidades, haré también habitar las ciudades, y las asoladas serán edificadas.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.
“‘The Lord GOD says: “In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited and the waste places will be built.
y se verá cultivada la tierra desierta, donde antes no veía el viajero más que desolación,
Y la tierra asolada será labrada, en lugar de haber sido asolada en ojos de todos los que pasaron;
And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.
The land that was desolate will be tilled instead of being a desolation in the sight of all who passed by.
dirán: Aquella tierra inculta está hecha ahora un jardín de delicias, y las ciudades desiertas, abandonadas y derruidas se hallan ya restauradas y fortificadas.
Los cuales dijeron: Esta tierra asolada fué como huerto de Edén; y estas ciudades desiertas y asoladas y arruinadas, fortalecidas estuvieron.
And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.
They will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden. The waste, desolate, and ruined cities are fortified and inhabited.’
Y todas aquellas naciones, que quedarán alrededor vuestro, conocerán que yo el Señor reedifiqué lo arruinado, y reduje a cultivo lo que estaba inculto; que yo el Señor lo dije, y lo puse por obra.
Y las gentes que fueron dejadas en vuestros alrededores, sabrán que yo edifiqué las derribadas, y planté las asoladas: yo Jehová he hablado, y harélo.
Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.
Then the nations that are left around you will know that I, the LORD, have built the ruined places and planted that which was desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.”
Esto dice el Señor Dios: También logrará de mí la casa de Israel que yo haga esto a favor suyo, yo los multiplicaré como un rebaño de hombres,
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Aun seré solicitado de la casa de Israel, para hacerles esto: multiplicarélos de hombres á modo de rebaños.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
“‘The Lord GOD says: “For this, moreover, I will be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them: I will increase them with men like a flock.
como un rebaño santo, como el rebaño que se ve en Jerusalén , en sus festividades; del mismo modo estarán las ciudades antes desiertas llenas como de rebaños de hombres; y conocerán que yo soy el Señor.
Como las ovejas santas, como las ovejas de Jerusalem en sus solemnidades, así las ciudades desiertas serán llenas de rebaños de hombres; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
As the flock for sacrifice, as the flock of Jerusalem in her appointed feasts, so the waste cities will be filled with flocks of men. Then they will know that I am the LORD.’”
