1Die Hand Jehovas kam über mich, und Jehova führte mich im Geiste hinaus und ließ mich nieder mitten im Tale; und dieses war voll Gebeine.
2Und er führte mich ringsherum an ihnen vorüber; und siehe, es waren sehr viele auf der Fläche des Tales, und siehe, sie waren sehr verdorrt.
3Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, werden diese Gebeine lebendig werden? Und ich sprach: Herr, Jehova, du weißt es.
4Da sprach er zu mir: Weissage über diese Gebeine und sprich zu ihnen: Ihr verdorrten Gebeine, höret das Wort Jehovas!
5So spricht der Herr, Jehova, zu diesen Gebeinen: Siehe, ich bringe Odem in euch, daß ihr lebendig werdet.
6Und ich werde Sehnen über euch legen und Fleisch über euch wachsen lassen und euch mit Haut überziehen, und ich werde Odem in euch legen, daß ihr lebendig werdet. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin. -
7Und ich weissagte, wie mir geboten war. Da entstand ein Geräusch, als ich weissagte, und siehe, ein Getöse: und die Gebeine rückten zusammen, Gebein an Gebein.
8Und ich sah, und siehe, es kamen Sehnen über sie, und Fleisch wuchs, und Haut zog sich darüber obenher; aber es war kein Odem in ihnen.
9Und er sprach zu mir: Weissage dem Odem, weissage, Menschensohn, und sprich zu dem Odem: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Komm von den vier Winden her, du Odem, und hauche diese Getöteten an, daß sie lebendig werden!
10Und ich weissagte, wie er mir geboten hatte; und der Odem kam in sie, und sie wurden lebendig und standen auf ihren Füßen, ein überaus großes Heer. -
11Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, diese Gebeine sind das ganze Haus Israel. Siehe, sie sprechen: Unsere Gebeine sind verdorrt, und unsere Hoffnung ist verloren; wir sind dahin.
12Darum weissage und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich werde eure Gräber öffnen und euch aus euren Gräbern heraufkommen lassen, mein Volk, und werde euch in das Land Israel bringen.
13Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, wenn ich eure Gräber öffne und euch aus euren Gräbern heraufkommen lasse, mein Volk.
14Und ich werde meinen Geist in euch geben, daß ihr lebet, und werde euch in euer Land setzen. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich, Jehova, geredet und es getan habe, spricht Jehova.
15Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
16Und du, Menschensohn, nimm dir ein Holz und schreibe darauf: Für Juda und für die Kinder Israel, seine Genossen. Und nimm ein anderes Holz und schreibe darauf: Für Joseph, Holz Ephraims und des ganzen Hauses Israel, seiner Genossen.
17Und bringe sie zusammen, eines zum anderen, dir zu einem Holze, so daß sie geeint seien in deiner Hand.
18Und wenn die Kinder deines Volkes zu dir sprechen und sagen: Willst du uns nicht kundtun, was diese dir bedeuten sollen?
19so rede zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich werde das Holz Josephs nehmen, welches in der Hand Ephraims ist, und die Stämme Israels, seine Genossen; und ich werde sie dazu tun, zu dem Holze Judas, und werde sie zu einem Holze machen, so daß sie eins seien in meiner Hand.
20Und die Hölzer, auf welche du geschrieben hast, sollen in deiner Hand sein vor ihren Augen.
21Und rede zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich werde die Kinder Israel aus den Nationen herausholen, wohin sie gezogen sind, und ich werde sie von ringsumher sammeln und sie in ihr Land bringen.
22Und ich werde sie zu einer Nation machen im Lande, auf den Bergen Israels, und sie werden allesamt einen König zum König haben; und sie sollen nicht mehr zu zwei Nationen werden, und sollen sich fortan nicht mehr in zwei Königreiche teilen.
23Und sie werden sich nicht mehr verunreinigen durch ihre Götzen und durch ihre Scheusale und durch alle ihre Übertretungen; und ich werde sie retten aus allen ihren Wohnsitzen, in welchen sie gesündigt haben, und werde sie reinigen; und sie werden mein Volk, und ich werde ihr Gott sein.
24Und mein Knecht David wird König über sie sein, und sie werden allesamt einen Hirten haben; und sie werden in meinen Rechten wandeln, und meine Satzungen bewahren und sie tun.
25Und sie werden wohnen in dem Lande, das ich meinem Knechte Jakob gegeben, worin eure Väter gewohnt haben; und sie werden darin wohnen, sie und ihre Kinder und ihre Kindeskinder, bis in Ewigkeit; und mein Knecht David wird ihr Fürst sein ewiglich.
26Und ich werde einen Bund des Friedens mit ihnen machen, ein ewiger Bund wird es mit ihnen sein; und ich werde sie einsetzen und sie vermehren, und werde mein Heiligtum in ihre Mitte setzen ewiglich.
27Und meine Wohnung wird über ihnen sein; und ich werde ihr Gott, und sie werden mein Volk sein.
28Und die Nationen werden wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, der Israel heiligt, wenn mein Heiligtum in ihrer Mitte sein wird ewiglich.

1Y LA mano de Jehová fué sobre mí, y sacóme en espíritu de Jehová, y púsome en medio de un campo que estaba lleno de huesos.
2E hízome pasar cerca de ellos por todo alrededor: y he aquí que eran muy muchos sobre la haz del campo, y por cierto secos en gran manera.
3Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, ¿vivirán estos huesos? Y dije: Señor Jehová, tú lo sabes.
4Díjome entonces: Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: Huesos secos, oid palabra de Jehová.
5Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á estos huesos: He aquí, yo hago entrar espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis.
6Y pondré nervios sobre vosotros, y haré subir sobre vosotros carne, y os cubriré de piel, y pondré en vosotros espíritu, y viviréis; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
7Profeticé pues, como me fué mandado; y hubo un ruido mientras yo profetizaba, y he aquí un temblor, y los huesos se llegaron cada hueso á su hueso.
8Y miré, y he aquí nervios sobre ellos, y la carne subió, y la piel cubrió por encima de ellos: mas no había en ellos espíritu.
9Y díjome: Profetiza al espíritu, profetiza, hijo del hombre, y di al espíritu: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Espíritu, ven de los cuatro vientos, y sopla sobre estos muertos, y vivirán.
10Y profeticé como me había mandado, y entró espíritu en ellos, y vivieron, y estuvieron sobre sus pies, un ejército grande en extremo.
11Díjome luego: Hijo del hombre, todos estos huesos son la casa de Israel. He aquí, ellos dicen: Nuestros huesos se secaron, y pereció nuestra esperanza, y somos del todo talados.
12Por tanto profetiza, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo abro vuestros sepulcros, pueblo mío, y os haré subir de vuestras sepulturas, y os traeré á la tierra de Israel.
13Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, cuando abriere vuestros sepulcros, y os sacare de vuestras sepulturas, pueblo mío.
14Y pondré mi espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis, y os haré reposar sobre vuestra tierra; y sabréis que yo Jehová hablé, y lo hice, dice Jehová.
15Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
16Tú, hijo del hombre, tómate ahora un palo, y escribe en él: A Judá, y á los hijos de Israel sus compañeros. Toma después otro palo, y escribe en él: A José, palo de Ephraim, y á toda la casa de Israel sus compañeros.
17Júntalos luego el uno con el otro, para que sean en uno, y serán uno en tu mano.
18Y cuando te hablaren los hijos de tu pueblo, diciendo: ¿No nos enseñarás qué te propones con eso?
19Diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo tomo el palo de José que está en la mano de Ephraim, y á las tribus de Israel sus compañeros, y pondrélos con él, con el palo de Judá, y harélos un palo, y serán uno en mi mano.
20Y los palos sobre que escribieres, estarán en tu mano delante de sus ojos;
21Y les dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo tomo á los hijos de Israel de entre las gentes á las cuales fueron, y los juntaré de todas partes, y los traeré á su tierra:
22Y los haré una nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel; y un rey será á todos ellos por rey: y nunca más serán dos naciones, ni nunca más serán divididos en dos reinos:
23Ni más se contaminarán con sus ídolos, y con sus abominaciones, y con todas sus rebeliones: y los salvaré de todas sus habitaciones en las cuales pecaron, y los limpiaré; y me serán por pueblo, y yo á ellos por Dios.
24Y mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos, y á todos ellos será un pastor: y andarán en mis derechos, y mis ordenanzas guardarán, y las pondrán por obra.
25Y habitarán en la tierra que dí á mi siervo Jacob, en la cual habitaron vuestros padres; en ella habitarán ellos, y sus hijos, y los hijos de sus hijos para siempre; y mi siervo David les será príncipe para siempre.
26Y concertaré con ellos pacto de paz, perpetuo pacto será con ellos: y los asentaré, y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.
27Y estará en ellos mi tabernáculo, y seré á ellos por Dios, y ellos me serán por pueblo.
28Y sabrán las gentes que yo Jehová santifico á Israel, estando mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.

1The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,
2And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.
3And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.
4Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.
5Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
6And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
7So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
8And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
9Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
10So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
11Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.
12Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
13And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
14And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
15The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
16Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
17And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
18And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
24And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
26Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
27My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

1The LORD’s hand was on me, and he brought me out in the LORD’s Spirit, and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones.
2He caused me to pass by them all around; and behold, there were very many in the open valley, and behold, they were very dry.
3He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I answered, “Lord GOD, you know.”
4Again he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, ‘You dry bones, hear the LORD’s word.
5The Lord GOD says to these bones: “Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live.

16“You, son of man, take one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions.’ Then take another stick, and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions.’
17Then join them for yourself to one another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.
18“When the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’
19tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in my hand.
20The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.”’
21Say to them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land.
22I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.
23They won’t defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. So they will be my people, and I will be their God.
24“‘“My servant David will be king over them. They all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in my ordinances and observe my statutes, and do them.
