The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

Et il me dit: "Prophétise sur ces ossements et dis-leur: Ossements desséchés, écoutez la parole de l'Eternel!
Díjome entonces: Profetiza sobre estos huesos, y diles: Huesos secos, oid palabra de Jehová.
Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu à ces ossements: Voici que je vais faire passer en vous un souffle, et vous revivrez.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á estos huesos: He aquí, yo hago entrar espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis.
Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:
The Lord GOD says to these bones: “Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you will live.
Je mettrai sur vous des nerfs, je ferai croître autour de vous de la chair, je vous envelopperai d'une peau; puis je mettrai en vous l'esprit, et vous vivrez; et vous reconnaîtrez que je suis l'Eternel."
Y pondré nervios sobre vosotros, y haré subir sobre vosotros carne, y os cubriré de piel, y pondré en vosotros espíritu, y viviréis; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Je prophétisai comme j'en avais reçu l'ordre. Il se fit une rumeur, comme je prophétisais, puis un frémissement, et les os se rapprochèrent en s'ajustant l'un à l'autre.

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.
Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’”
Et je prophétisai, comme il me l'avait ordonné; et l'esprit les pénétra, ils vécurent et ils se dressèrent sur leurs pieds, en une multitude extrêmement nombreuse.

Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

Je mettrai mon esprit en vous et vous serez vivifiés, et je vous asseoirai sur votre sol, et vous reconnaîtrez que je suis l'Eternel, -qui ai parlé et qui exécute, dit l'Eternel."
Y pondré mi espíritu en vosotros, y viviréis, y os haré reposar sobre vuestra tierra; y sabréis que yo Jehová hablé, y lo hice, dice Jehová.
And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée en ces termes :

"Or toi, fils de l'homme, prends une pièce de bois et écris dessus: "Pour Juda et pour les enfants d'Israël, ses associés. Puis, prends une autre pièce de bois et écris dessus: Pour Joseph, souche d'Ephraïm, et toute la maison d'Israël, ses associés.
Tú, hijo del hombre, tómate ahora un palo, y escribe en él: A Judá, y á los hijos de Israel sus compañeros. Toma después otro palo, y escribe en él: A José, palo de Ephraim, y á toda la casa de Israel sus compañeros.
Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
“You, son of man, take one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions.’ Then take another stick, and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions.’
Rapproche ces pièces l'une de l'autre, pour n'avoir qu'une pièce unique; et elles seront réunies dans ta main.
Júntalos luego el uno con el otro, para que sean en uno, y serán uno en tu mano.
And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

Et lorsque les enfants de ton peuple te parleront ainsi: "Ne nous révéleras-tu pas ce que tu entends par là? "

And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
“When the children of your people speak to you, saying, ‘Won’t you show us what you mean by these?’
Réponds-leur Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: Voici, je vais prendre l'arbre de Joseph qui est dans la main d'Ephraïm, et les tiges d'Israël, ses associées; je les lui adjoindrai avec l'arbre de Juda, et j'en ferai un arbre unique, et ils ne feront qu'un dans ma main.
Diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo tomo el palo de José que está en la mano de Ephraim, y á las tribus de Israel sus compañeros, y pondrélos con él, con el palo de Judá, y harélos un palo, y serán uno en mi mano.
Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
tell them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in my hand.
Or, les pièces de bois sur lesquelles tu auras écrit seront dans ta main, visibles à leurs yeux,
Y los palos sobre que escribieres, estarán en tu mano delante de sus ojos;
And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
The sticks on which you write will be in your hand before their eyes.”’
puis dis-leur: Ainsi parle le Seigneur Dieu: Voici, je vais prendre les enfants d'Israël d'entre les nations où ils sont allés, je les rassemblerai de toutes parts et je les conduirai sur leur territoire.
Y les dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo tomo á los hijos de Israel de entre las gentes á las cuales fueron, y los juntaré de todas partes, y los traeré á su tierra:
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
Say to them, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land.
Je les constituerai en nation unie dans le pays, sur les montagnes d'Israël; un seul roi sera le roi d'eux tous: ils ne formeront plus une nation double et ils ne seront plus, plus jamais, fractionnés en deux royaumes.
Y los haré una nación en la tierra, en los montes de Israel; y un rey será á todos ellos por rey: y nunca más serán dos naciones, ni nunca más serán divididos en dos reinos:
And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. One king will be king to them all. They will no longer be two nations. They won’t be divided into two kingdoms any more at all.
Ils ne se souilleront plus par leurs idoles abjectes, par leurs turpitudes, par tous leurs forfaits; je les tirerai de toutes les demeures où ils ont péché, et je les purifierai: alors ils seront pour moi un peuple et moi, je serai pour eux un Dieu.
Ni más se contaminarán con sus ídolos, y con sus abominaciones, y con todas sus rebeliones: y los salvaré de todas sus habitaciones en las cuales pecaron, y los limpiaré; y me serán por pueblo, y yo á ellos por Dios.
Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

Mon serviteur David régnera sur eux, il n'y aura qu'un pasteur pour eux tous; ils suivront mes lois, ils garderont mes statuts et s'y conformeront.
Y mi siervo David será rey sobre ellos, y á todos ellos será un pastor: y andarán en mis derechos, y mis ordenanzas guardarán, y las pondrán por obra.
And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

Ils habiteront le pays que j'ai donné à mon serviteur Jacob, qu'ont habité vos pères; ils y demeureront, eux et leurs enfants et leurs petits-enfants pour toujours, et David, mon serviteur, sera leur prince pour toujours.

And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

Je contracterai avec eux une alliance de paix, une alliance éternelle leur sera accordée, je les rétablirai. Je les rendrai grands, et je mettrai mon sanctuaire au milieu d'eux pour toujours.
Y concertaré con ellos pacto de paz, perpetuo pacto será con ellos: y los asentaré, y los multiplicaré, y pondré mi santuario entre ellos para siempre.
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

Ma résidence sera près d'eux; je serai leur Dieu, et eux seront mon peuple.

My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
The nations will know that I am the LORD who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary is among them forever more.”’”
