No início do vigésimo quinto ano do exílio, no início do ano, no décimo dia do mês, no décimo quarto ano depois da queda da cidade, a mão do Senhor veio sobre mim e me levou para lá.

EN el año veinticinco de nuestro cautiverio, al principio del año, á los diez del mes, á los catorce años después que la ciudad fué herida, en aquel mismo día fué sobre mí la mano de Jehová, y llevóme allá.

In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.

In the twenty-fifth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, in the same day, the LORD’s hand was on me, and he brought me there.

Em visões, Deus me levou à terra de Israel e me colocou sobre um monte muito alto. Lá, havia os edifícios de uma cidade à minha frente, em direção ao sul.

E o homem me disse: “Filho do homem, observe bem, ouça com atenção; decore tudo o que vou lhe mostrar. Foi para isso que você foi trazido até aqui. Seu dever é contar ao povo de Israel tudo o que você vai ver aqui”.

Y hablóme aquel varón, diciendo: Hijo del hombre, mira con tus ojos, y oye con tus oídos, y pon tu corazón á todas las cosas que te muestro; porque para que yo te las mostrase eres traído aquí. Cuenta todo lo que ves á la casa de Israel.

And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.

The man said to me, “Son of man, see with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your heart on all that I will show you; for you have been brought here so that I may show them to you. Declare all that you see to the house of Israel.”

Vi, então, o homem medir o muro que cercava o templo, usando aquela régua de medir. A régua na mão do homem tinha seis medidas longas, cada uma com meio metro de comprimento. Depois de medir, ele me disse: “Este muro tem três metros de espessura e três metros de altura”.

And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man’s hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

A seguir, me levou até a porta leste do muro. Subimos os sete degraus que davam num corredor. Esse corredor tinha três metros de extensão.

Havia ganchos de duas pontas, cada um com quatro dedos de extensão, pendurados nas paredes do pórtico. A carne dos sacrifícios voluntários era colocada sobre as mesas.

And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.

The hooks, a hand width long, were fastened within all around. The meat of the offering was on the tables.

And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.

Outside of the inner gate were rooms for the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate. They faced toward the south. One at the side of the east gate faced toward the north.

A sala ao lado da porta sul, que dá para o altar, pertence aos sacerdotes que dirigem os sacrifícios. Eles são membros da família de Zadoque, os únicos levitas que podem vir à presença do Senhor para servir diante dele”.
