And he brought me to the temple: and he measured the door–posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, as also the breadth of the tabernacle.

And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.

The side rooms were in three stories, one over another, and thirty in each story. They entered into the wall which belonged to the house for the side rooms all around, that they might be supported and not penetrate the wall of the house.

And as one wound upward it became continually wider for the side–chambers; for the row of chambers about the house went more and more upward round about the house; therefore was the breadth of the house greater upward: and so they ascended from the lowest chambers to the highest through the middle ones.

Y había mayor anchura y vuelta en las cámaras á lo más alto; el caracol de la casa subía muy alto alrededor por de dentro de la casa: por tanto la casa tenía más anchura arriba; y de la cámara baja se subía á la alta por la del medio.

And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.

The side rooms were wider on the higher levels, because the walls were narrower at the higher levels. Therefore the width of the house increased upward; and so one went up from the lowest level to the highest through the middle level.

And I saw the height of the house all round about: the foundations of the side–chambers were a full rod of six cubits under ground.

The doors of the side rooms were toward an open area that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south. The width of the open area was five cubits all around.

Now the building that was before the main wing on the west side was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and its length, ninety cubits.

On the part above the door, and as far as the inner house, and the outer house, was a wainscoting, and on all the wall round about within and without, by the same measure;

From the ground to the part above the door were the cherubim and the palm–trees made, and so on the wall of the temple.

Cherubim and palm trees were made from the ground to above the door. The wall of the temple was like this.

The temple had four–cornered door–posts, and the front of the holy of holies had the same appearance as the appearance of the other.

The altar was of wood, three cubits high, and its length was two cubits; and its corners, and its top–piece, and its walls, were of wood: and he spoke unto me, This is the table that is before the Lord.

La altura del altar de madera era de tres codos, y su longitud de dos codos; y sus esquinas, y su superficie, y sus paredes, eran de madera. Y díjome: Esta es la mesa que está delante de Jehová.

And there were narrow windows and palm–trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and on the side–chambers of the house, and the covering of thick planks.
