1Después me trajo de nuevo al pasillo a través del muro exterior hacia el este.
2Y de repente la presencia majestuosa del Dios de Israel apareció del lado oriente. El sonido de su venida era como el estrépito de caudalosas aguas y todo el horizonte resplandeció con su presencia majestuosa.
3Era tal como la había visto en las otras visiones, primero al lado del río Quebar, y luego más tarde en Jerusalén cuando vino para destruir la ciudad. Caí, rostro en tierra.
4Y la presencia majestuosa del Señor entró en el templo por la puerta que daba al oriente.
5Luego el Espíritu me alzó y me trajo al patio interior; y la presencia majestuosa del Señor llenó el templo.
6Y oí al Señor hablándome desde adentro del templo (el hombre que había estado midiendo aún estaba parado al lado mío).
7El Señor me dijo: «Hombre mortal, este es el lugar de mi trono y el lugar donde se posa la planta de mis pies, donde yo permaneceré, viviendo en medio del pueblo de Israel para siempre. Ellos y sus reyes ya no más pondrán en entredicho mi intachable reputación por la traicionera devoción de otros dioses, o inclinándose ante los emblemas de sus reyes.
8Ellos construyeron sus templos idólatras al lado del mío, con sólo un muro de por medio, y allí rindieron homenaje a sus ídolos. Como dañaron la reputación de mi fama con semejante maldad, yo los destruí en mi ira.
9Ahora que arrojen lejos sus ídolos y emblemas levantados por sus reyes, y yo viviré en medio de ellos para siempre.
10»Hombre mortal, describe el templo que yo te he mostrado al pueblo de Israel. Cuéntales su apariencia y su plan, para que ellos sientan vergüenza por todas sus maldades.
11Y si ellos están realmente avergonzados de lo que han hecho, luego explícales los detalles de su construcción —sus puertas y entradas— y todo lo concerniente a él. Escribe todas las indicaciones y reglas que ellos deben guardar.
12Y esta es la ley básica del templo: ¡Exclusividad! ¡Toda la parte superior de la colina donde está construido el templo es exclusiva! ¡Sí, esta es la ley principal!».
13Y estas son las medidas del altar: La base del altar es cuadrada, de nueve metros con cuarenta y cinco centímetros de lado, con un borde en todo el derredor de veintidós centímetros y medio de alto. Esta base se eleva del patio cincuenta y dos centímetros y medio. Encima de la base hay una plataforma de piedra de un metro con cinco centímetros de alto, y ocho metros con cuarenta centímetros de lado. (Esto deja cincuenta y dos centímetros y medio de borde entre la base y la plataforma de piedra). Esta, a su vez, sostiene la próxima plataforma cuadrada de siete metros con treinta y cinco centímetros por lado y dos metros con diez centímetros de alto, dejando una repisa de cincuenta y dos centímetros y medio en cada lado. La plataforma cuadrada de siete metros con treinta y cinco centímetros tiene un reborde de veintidós centímetros y medio de alto, y lleva a la plataforma más alta, de seis metros con treinta centímetros por lado, y dos metros con diez centímetros de alto. De las esquinas de esta última plataforma se extienden cuatro cuernos de cincuenta y dos centímetros y medio cada uno. Los escalones para subir el altar estaban en el lado este.

18Y él me dijo: «Hombre mortal, el Señor Dios dice: Estas son las medidas del altar que habrá de ser hecho en el futuro, cuando sea levantado para quemar ofrendas y rociar sangre allí.
19En aquel tiempo, los de la familia de Sadoc, de la tribu de Leví, quienes son mis ministros, han de recibir un becerro para la ofrenda por el perdón de las maldades.
20Tomarás un poco de su sangre y la aplicarás en los cuatro cuernos del altar y en las cuatro esquinas de la plataforma de arriba y en el reborde que lleva en torno. Esto limpiará y hará expiación por el altar.
21Luego toma el becerro para la ofrenda por el perdón de las maldades y quémalo en el lugar indicado afuera de la zona del templo.
22»El segundo día, sacrifica un carnero sin ningún defecto —sin enfermedad, deformidades, heridas o costras— como ofrenda por el perdón de las maldades. Así el altar será limpiado, como lo fue previamente por el becerro.
23Cuando hayas concluido esta ceremonia de purificación, ofrece otro becerro perfecto y un carnero perfecto del rebaño.
24Preséntalos delante del Señor, y los sacerdotes esparcirán sal sobre ellos como una ofrenda quemada.
25Cada día durante siete días un cordero, un becerro y un carnero del rebaño serán sacrificados como ofrenda por el perdón de la maldad. Ninguno de ellos debe tener defecto alguno.
26Esto será hecho cada día, durante siete días, para purificar y hacer expiación por el altar, para consagrarlo.
27En el octavo día, y cada día después, los sacerdotes sacrificarán sobre el altar las ofrendas quemadas y las ofrendas de gratitud del pueblo, y yo las aceptaré, dice el Señor Dios».

1LLEVÓME luego á la puerta, á la puerta que mira hacia el oriente;
2Y he aquí la gloria del Dios de Israel, que venía de hacia el oriente; y su sonido era como el sonido de muchas aguas, y la tierra resplandecía á causa de su gloria.
3Y la visión que vi era como la visión, como aquella visión que vi cuando vine para destruir la ciudad: y las visiones eran como la visión que vi junto al río de Chebar; y caí sobre mi rostro.
4Y la gloria de Jehová entró en la casa por la vía de la puerta que daba cara al oriente.
5Y alzóme el espíritu, y metióme en el atrio de adentro; y he aquí que la gloria de Jehová hinchió la casa.
6Y oí uno que me hablaba desde la casa: y un varón estaba junto á mí.
7Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, este es el lugar de mi asiento, y el lugar de las plantas de mis pies, en el cual habitaré entre los hijos de Israel para siempre: y nunca más contaminará la casa de Israel mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus fornicaciones, y con los cuerpos muertos de sus reyes en sus altares:
8Y poniendo ellos su umbral junto á mi umbral, y su poste junto á mi poste, y no más que pared entre mí y ellos, contaminaron mi santo nombre con sus abominaciones que hicieron: consumílos por tanto en mi furor.
9Ahora echarán lejos de mí su fornicación, y los cuerpos muertos de sus reyes, y habitaré en medio de ellos para siempre.
10Tú, hijo del hombre, muestra á la casa de Israel esta casa, y avergüéncense de sus pecados, y midan la traza de ella.
11Y si se avergonzaren de todo lo que han hecho, hazles entender la figura de la casa, y su traza, y sus salidas y sus entradas, y todas sus formas, y todas sus descripciones, y todas sus configuraciones, y todas sus leyes: y descríbelo delante de sus ojos, para que guarden toda su forma, y todas sus reglas, y las pongan por obra.
12Esta es la ley de la casa: Sobre la cumbre del monte, todo su término alrededor será santísimo. He aquí que esta es la ley de la casa.
13Y estas son las medidas del altar por codos (el codo de á codo y palmo). El seno, de un codo, y de un codo el ancho; y su remate por su borde alrededor, de un palmo. Este será el fondo alto del altar.
14Y desde el seno de sobre el suelo hasta el lugar de abajo, dos codos, y la anchura de un codo: y desde el lugar menor hasta el lugar mayor, cuatro codos, y la anchura de un codo.
15Y el altar, de cuatro codos, y encima del altar, cuatro cuernos.
16Y el altar tenía doce codos de largo, y doce de ancho, cuadrado á sus cuatro lados.
17Y el área, de catorce codos de longitud, y catorce de anchura en sus cuatro lados, y de medio codo el borde alrededor: y el seno de un codo por todos lados; y sus gradas estaban al oriente.
18Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Estas son las ordenanzas del altar el día en que será hecho, para ofrecer sobre él holocausto, y para esparcir sobre él sangre.
19Darás á los sacerdotes Levitas que son del linaje de Sadoc, que se allegan á mí, dice el Señor Jehová, para ministrarme, un becerro de la vacada para expiación.
20Y tomarás de su sangre, y pondrás en los cuatro cuernos del altar, y en las cuatro esquinas del área, y en el borde alrededor: así lo limpiarás y purificarás.
21Tomarás luego el becerro de la expiación, y lo quemarás conforme á la ley de la casa, fuera del santuario.
22Y al segundo día ofrecerás un macho de cabrío sin defecto, para expiación; y purificarán el altar como lo purificaron con el becerro.
23Cuando acabares de expiar, ofrecerás un becerro de la vacada sin defecto, y un carnero sin tacha de la manada:
24Y los ofrecerás delante de Jehová, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos, y los ofrecerán en holocausto á Jehová.
25Por siete días sacrificarán un macho cabrío cada día en expiación; asimismo sacrificarán el becerro de la vacada y un carnero sin tacha del rebaño.
26Por siete días expiarán el altar, y lo limpiarán, y ellos henchirán sus manos.
27Y acabados estos días, al octavo día, y en adelante, sacrificarán los sacerdotes sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestros pacíficos; y me seréis aceptos, dice el Señor Jehová.

1Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
2And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.
3And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
4And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
5So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.
6And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
7And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
8In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.
9Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
10Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
11And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
12This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
13And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
14And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.
15So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.
16And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.
17And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.
18And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.
19And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
20And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.
21Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
22And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
23When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.
24And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
25Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.
26Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
27And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.

2Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth was illuminated with his glory.
3It was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell on my face.
4The LORD’s glory came into the house by the way of the gate which faces toward the east.
5The Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the LORD’s glory filled the house.
6I heard one speaking to me out of the house, and a man stood by me.
7He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell among the children of Israel forever. The house of Israel will no more defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;
8in their setting of their threshold by my threshold and their door post beside my door post. There was a wall between me and them; and they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed. Therefore I have consumed them in my anger.
9Now let them put away their prostitution, and the dead bodies of their kings far from me. Then I will dwell among them forever.
10“You, son of man, show the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the pattern.
11If they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, its fashion, its exits, its entrances, its structure, all its ordinances, all its forms, and all its laws; and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form of it, and all its ordinances, and do them.
12“This is the law of the house. On the top of the mountain the whole limit around it shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
13“These are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand width): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the width a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.
14From the bottom on the ground to the lower ledge shall be two cubits, and the width one cubit; and from the lesser ledge to the greater ledge shall be four cubits, and the width a cubit.
15The upper altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar hearth and upward there shall be four horns.
16The altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, square in its four sides.
17The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and its bottom shall be a cubit around; and its steps shall look toward the east.”
18He said to me, “Son of man, the Lord GOD says: ‘These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they make it, to offer burnt offerings on it, and to sprinkle blood on it.
19You shall give to the Levitical priests who are of the offspring of Zadok, who are near to me, to minister to me,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘a young bull for a sin offering.
20You shall take of its blood and put it on its four horns, and on the four corners of the ledge, and on the border all around. You shall cleanse it and make atonement for it that way.
21You shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burned in the appointed place of the house, outside of the sanctuary.
22“On the second day you shall offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.
23When you have finished cleansing it, you shall offer a young bull without defect and a ram out of the flock without defect.
24You shall bring them near to the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to the LORD.
25“Seven days you shall prepare every day a goat for a sin offering. They shall also prepare a young bull and a ram out of the flock, without defect.
26Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it. So shall they consecrate it.
27When they have accomplished the days, it shall be that on the eighth day and onward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings on the altar and your peace offerings. Then I will accept you,’ says the Lord GOD.”
