No mesmo instante, o Espírito me suspendeu no ar e me levou até o pátio interno do templo. Lá eu vi que a glória do Senhor enchia completamente o templo!

E, do interior do templo, o Senhor me chamou! O homem que tomara as medidas continuava ao meu lado, enquanto o Senhor falava comigo.

Ele disse: “Filho do homem, este é o lugar do meu trono, o lugar onde descanso os meus pés. Neste lugar eu viverei para sempre entre o meu povo. Nunca mais o povo e os reis de Israel mancharão o meu nome santo, misturando minha adoração com o culto de imagens; nunca mais farão colunas para os seus reis, nem enterrarão os reis mortos em seus santuários nos montes.
Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, este es el lugar de mi asiento, y el lugar de las plantas de mis pies, en el cual habitaré entre los hijos de Israel para siempre: y nunca más contaminará la casa de Israel mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus fornicaciones, y con los cuerpos muertos de sus reyes en sus altares:
And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell among the children of Israel forever. The house of Israel will no more defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their prostitution and by the dead bodies of their kings in their high places;
Nunca mais construirão templos a seus ídolos bem ao lado da minha casa, como fizeram no passado. Eles mancharam a pureza do meu nome com a sua horrível adoração de imagens; foi por isso que eu castiguei o meu povo, com toda a minha ira.

In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

“Filho do homem, você deve contar ao meu povo todos os detalhes da construção deste templo. Mostre-lhes a perfeição que existe em cada parte, para que o meu povo se envergonhe dos pecados cometidos no passado.
Tú, hijo del hombre, muestra á la casa de Israel esta casa, y avergüéncense de sus pecados, y midan la traza de ella.
Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.

And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
If they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the form of the house, its fashion, its exits, its entrances, its structure, all its ordinances, all its forms, and all its laws; and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form of it, and all its ordinances, and do them.
E a lei mais importante do templo, é esta: Santidade absoluta! Toda área ao redor no alto do monte onde fica o templo será santa. Esta é a lei do templo!

This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

“Estas são as medidas do altar que fica no pátio interno: a base tem meio metro de altura, com uma borda de meio metro em toda a sua volta. Essa borda é mais larga que a base do altar, com um palmo em torno da beirada.
Y estas son las medidas del altar por codos (el codo de á codo y palmo). El seno, de un codo, y de un codo el ancho; y su remate por su borde alrededor, de un palmo. Este será el fondo alto del altar.
And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.
“These are the measurements of the altar by cubits (the cubit is a cubit and a hand width): the bottom shall be a cubit, and the width a cubit, and its border around its edge a span; and this shall be the base of the altar.

E ele continuou falando comigo. “Filho do homem, assim diz o Soberano, o Senhor: Estas medidas que eu lhe dei devem ser obedecidas quando o altar for construído para queimar os sacrifícios e derramar o sangue em favor do povo.

And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

Antes de o altar começar a ser usado, a família de Zadoque, da tribo de Levi — a família dos sacerdotes que servem no meu altar — deverá receber um touro jovem para servir como sacrifício pelo pecado. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor.
Darás á los sacerdotes Levitas que son del linaje de Sadoc, que se allegan á mí, dice el Señor Jehová, para ministrarme, un becerro de la vacada para expiación.
And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.
You shall give to the Levitical priests who are of the offspring of Zadok, who are near to me, to minister to me,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘a young bull for a sin offering.
Quando o animal for morto, você pegará um pouco de sangue e esfregará esse sangue nas quatro pontas do altar, nos quatro cantos da saliência e ao redor de toda a beirada dele. Isso purificará o altar e cobrirá sua impureza.

Depois disso, o touro do sacrifício pelo pecado deve ser queimado fora do templo, no lugar apropriado.

Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.
You shall also take the bull of the sin offering, and it shall be burned in the appointed place of the house, outside of the sanctuary.
“No segundo dia, a oferta deverá ser de um bode. Você oferecerá um bode sem defeito, como sacrifício pelo pecado, para purificar o altar, como aconteceu com o touro.
Y al segundo día ofrecerás un macho de cabrío sin defecto, para expiación; y purificarán el altar como lo purificaron con el becerro.
And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.
“On the second day you shall offer a male goat without defect for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they cleansed it with the bull.

Você deve apresentar os animais perante o Senhor; os sacerdotes colocarão sal sobre a carne e queimarão os dois animais. Serão um sacrifício queimado para dedicação do altar ao Senhor.
Y los ofrecerás delante de Jehová, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos, y los ofrecerán en holocausto á Jehová.
And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.
You shall bring them near to the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to the LORD.
“Durante uma semana, diariamente, você preparará um bode para o sacrifício pelo pecado; além disso, os sacerdotes prepararão um touro jovem e um carneiro sem defeito.
Por siete días sacrificarán un macho cabrío cada día en expiación; asimismo sacrificarán el becerro de la vacada y un carnero sin tacha del rebaño.
Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.
“Seven days you shall prepare every day a goat for a sin offering. They shall also prepare a young bull and a ram out of the flock, without defect.
Assim, durante sete dias, os sacrifícios pelo pecado cobrirão dos meus olhos as impurezas. Assim, o altar será dedicado ao Senhor!
Por siete días expiarán el altar, y lo limpiarán, y ellos henchirán sus manos.
Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.
Seven days shall they make atonement for the altar and purify it. So shall they consecrate it.
Do oitavo dia em diante, os sacerdotes oferecerão sobre o altar os sacrifícios queimados e as ofertas de gratidão trazidas pelo povo. Assim, eu aceitarei o louvor do povo, e darei aos israelitas a minha bênção. Palavra do Soberano, o Senhor”.
Y acabados estos días, al octavo día, y en adelante, sacrificarán los sacerdotes sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestros pacíficos; y me seréis aceptos, dice el Señor Jehová.
And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
When they have accomplished the days, it shall be that on the eighth day and onward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings on the altar and your peace offerings. Then I will accept you,’ says the Lord GOD.”
