1Und du, Menschensohn, nimm dir ein scharfes Schwert: als Schermesser sollst du es dir nehmen und damit über dein Haupt und über deinen Bart fahren; und nimm dir Waagschalen und teile die Haare.
2Ein Drittel sollst du mit Feuer verbrennen inmitten der Stadt, wenn die Tage der Belagerung voll sind; und ein Drittel sollst du nehmen, und rings um sie her mit dem Schwerte schlagen; und ein Drittel sollst du in den Wind streuen, denn ich werde das Schwert ziehen hinter ihnen her.
3Und du sollst davon eine kleine Zahl nehmen und in deine Rockzipfel binden.
4Und von diesen sollst du abermals nehmen und sie mitten ins Feuer werfen und sie mit Feuer verbrennen; davon wird ein Feuer ausgehen wider das ganze Haus Israel.
5So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Dieses Jerusalem, inmitten der Nationen habe ich es gesetzt, und Länder rings um dasselbe her.
6Und es war widerspenstig gegen meine Rechte in Gesetzlosigkeit, mehr als die Nationen, und gegen meine Satzungen, mehr als die Länder, welche rings um dasselbe her sind; denn meine Rechte haben sie verworfen, und in meinen Satzungen haben sie nicht gewandelt.
7Darum spricht der Herr, Jehova, also: Weil ihr getobt habt, mehr als die Nationen, die rings um euch her sind, in meinen Satzungen nicht gewandelt und meine Rechte nicht getan habt, ja, selbst nach den Rechten der Nationen, die rings um euch her sind, nicht getan habt,
8darum spricht der Herr, Jehova, also: Siehe, auch ich will wider dich sein, und will Gerichte in deiner Mitte üben vor den Augen der Nationen.
9Und ich will an dir tun, was ich nicht getan habe und desgleichen ich nicht wieder tun werde, um all deiner Greuel willen.
10Darum werden Väter ihre Kinder essen in deiner Mitte, und Kinder werden ihre Väter essen; und ich will Gerichte an dir üben, und will deinen ganzen Überrest in alle Winde zerstreuen.
11Darum, so wahr ich lebe, spricht der Herr, Jehova: Wahrlich, weil du mein Heiligtum verunreinigt hast durch alle deine Scheusale und durch alle deine Greuel, so will auch ich mein Auge abziehen ohne Mitleid, und auch ich will mich nicht erbarmen.
12Ein Drittel von dir soll an der Pest sterben und durch Hunger umkommen in deiner Mitte; und ein Drittel soll durchs Schwert fallen rings um dich her; und ein Drittel werde ich in alle Winde zerstreuen, und ich werde das Schwert ziehen hinter ihnen her. -
13Und mein Zorn soll sich vollenden, und meinen Grimm werde ich an ihnen stillen und Rache nehmen. Und wenn ich meinen Grimm an ihnen vollende, so werden sie wissen, daß ich, Jehova, in meinem Eifer geredet habe.
14Und ich werde dich zur Einöde machen und zum Hohne unter den Nationen, die rings um dich her sind, vor den Augen jedes Vorübergehenden.
15Und es soll ein Hohn und ein Spott sein, eine Warnung und ein Entsetzen für die Nationen, die rings um dich her sind, wenn ich Gerichte an dir üben werde im Zorn und im Grimm und in Züchtigungen des Grimmes. Ich, Jehova, habe geredet.
16Wenn ich die bösen Pfeile des Hungers wider sie sende, welche zum Verderben sein werden, die ich senden werde, um euch zu verderben, so werde ich den Hunger über euch häufen und euch den Stab des Brotes zerbrechen.
17Und ich werde Hunger über euch senden und böse Tiere, daß sie dich der Kinder berauben; und Pest und Blut sollen über dich ergehen, und das Schwert werde ich über dich bringen. Ich, Jehova, habe geredet.

1Y TÚ, hijo del hombre, tómate un cuchillo agudo, una navaja de barbero toma, y hazla pasar sobre tu cabeza y tu barba: tómate después un peso de balanza, y reparte los pelos.
2Una tercera parte quemarás con fuego en medio de la ciudad, cuando se cumplieren los días del cerco, y tomarás una tercera parte, y herirás con cuchillo alrededor de ella; y una tercera parte esparcirás al viento, y yo desenvainaré espada en pos de ellos.
3Tomarás también de allí unos pocos por cuenta, y los atarás en el canto de tu ropa.
4Y tomarás otra vez de ellos, y los echarás en mitad del fuego, y en el fuego los quemarás: de allí saldrá el fuego en toda la casa de Israel.
5Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Esta es Jerusalem: púsela en medio de las gentes y de las tierras alrededor de ella.
6Y ella mudó mis juicios y mis ordenanzas en impiedad más que las gentes, y más que las tierras que están alrededor de ella; porque desecharon mis juicios y mis mandamientos, y no anduvieron en ellos.
7Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: ¿Por haberos multiplicado más que á las gentes que están alrededor de vosotros, no habéis andado en mis mandamientos, ni habéis guardado mis leyes? Ni aun según las leyes de las gentes que están alrededor de vosotros habéis hecho.
8Así pues ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti; sí, yo, y haré juicios en medio de ti á los ojos de las naciones.
9Y haré en ti lo que nunca hice, ni jamás haré cosa semejante, á causa de todas tus abominaciones.
10Por eso los padres comerán á los hijos en medio de ti, y los hijos comerán á sus padres; y haré en ti juicios, y esparciré á todos vientos todo tu residuo.
11Por tanto, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, ciertamente por haber violado mi santuario con todas tus abominaciones, te quebrantaré yo también: mi ojo no perdonará, ni tampoco tendré yo misericordia.
12Una tercera parte de ti morirá de pestilencia, y de hambre será consumida en medio de ti; y una tercera parte caerá á cuchillo alrededor de ti; y una tercera parte esparciré á todos los vientos, y tras ellos desenvainaré espada.
13Y cumpliráse mi furor, y haré que repose en ellos mi enojo, y tomaré satisfacción: y sabrán que yo Jehová he hablado en mi celo, cuando habré cumplido en ellos mi enojo.
14Y te tornaré en desierto y en oprobio entre las gentes que están alrededor de ti, á los ojos de todo transeunte.
15Y serás oprobio, y escarnio, y escarmiento, y espanto á las gentes que están alrededor de ti, cuando yo hiciere en ti juicios en furor é indignación, y en reprensiones de ira. Yo Jehová he hablado.
16Cuando arrojare yo sobre ellos las perniciosas saetas del hambre, que serán para destrucción, las cuales enviaré para destruiros, entonces aumentaré el hambre sobre vosotros, y quebrantaré entre vosotros el arrimo del pan.
17Enviaré pues sobre vosotros hambre, y malas bestias que te destruyan; y pestilencia y sangre pasarán por ti; y meteré sobre ti cuchillo. Yo Jehová he hablado.

1And thou, son of man, take thee a sharp knife, take thee a barber’s razor, and cause it to pass upon thine head and upon thy beard: then take thee balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
2Thou shalt burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and thou shalt take a third part, and smite about it with a knife: and a third part thou shalt scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
3Thou shalt also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in thy skirts.
4Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
5Thus saith the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.
6And she hath changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
7Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because ye multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
8Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against thee, and will execute judgments in the midst of thee in the sight of the nations.
9And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations.
10Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of thee, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in thee, and the whole remnant of thee will I scatter into all the winds.
11Wherefore, as I live, saith the Lord GOD; Surely, because thou hast defiled my sanctuary with all thy detestable things, and with all thine abominations, therefore will I also diminish thee; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
12A third part of thee shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of thee: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about thee; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
13Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
14Moreover I will make thee waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about thee, in the sight of all that pass by.
15So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about thee, when I shall execute judgments in thee in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.
16When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:
17So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave thee; and pestilence and blood shall pass through thee; and I will bring the sword upon thee. I the LORD have spoken it.

1“You, son of man, take a sharp sword. You shall take it as a barber’s razor to yourself, and shall cause it to pass over your head and over your beard. Then take balances to weigh and divide the hair.
2A third part you shall burn in the fire in the middle of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled. You shall take a third part, and strike with the sword around it. A third part you shall scatter to the wind, and I will draw out a sword after them.
3You shall take a small number of these and bind them in the folds of your robe.
4Of these again you shall take, and cast them into the middle of the fire, and burn them in the fire. From it a fire will come out into all the house of Israel.
5“The Lord GOD says: ‘This is Jerusalem. I have set her in the middle of the nations, and countries are around her.
6She has rebelled against my ordinances in doing wickedness more than the nations, and against my statutes more than the countries that are around her; for they have rejected my ordinances, and as for my statutes, they have not walked in them.’
7“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you are more turbulent than the nations that are around you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my ordinances, neither have followed the ordinances of the nations that are around you;
8therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I, even I, am against you; and I will execute judgments among you in the sight of the nations.
9I will do in you that which I have not done, and which I will not do anything like it any more, because of all your abominations.
10Therefore the fathers will eat the sons within you, and the sons will eat their fathers. I will execute judgments on you; and I will scatter the whole remnant of you to all the winds.
11Therefore as I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all your abominations, therefore I will also diminish you. My eye won’t spare, and I will have no pity.
12A third part of you will die with the pestilence, and they will be consumed with famine within you. A third part will fall by the sword around you. A third part I will scatter to all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.
13“‘Thus my anger will be accomplished, and I will cause my wrath toward them to rest, and I will be comforted. They will know that I, the LORD, have spoken in my zeal, when I have accomplished my wrath on them.
14“‘Moreover I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are around you, in the sight of all that pass by.
15So it will be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment, to the nations that are around you, when I execute judgments on you in anger and in wrath, and in wrathful rebukes—I, the LORD, have spoken it—
16when I send on them the evil arrows of famine that are for destruction, which I will send to destroy you. I will increase the famine on you and will break your staff of bread.
17I will send on you famine and evil animals, and they will bereave you. Pestilence and blood will pass through you. I will bring the sword on you. I, the LORD, have spoken it.’”
