1Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also:
2Und du, Menschensohn, so spricht der Herr, Jehova, zum Lande Israel: Es hat ein Ende! Das Ende kommt über die vier Ecken des Landes!
3Nun kommt das Ende über dich, und ich werde meinen Zorn wider dich senden und dich nach deinen Wegen richten; und alle deine Greuel werde ich über dich bringen.
4Und mein Auge wird deiner nicht schonen, und ich werde mich nicht erbarmen; sondern ich will deine Wege über dich bringen, und deine Greuel sollen in deiner Mitte sein. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin.
5So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Unglück, einziges Unglück, siehe, es kommt!
6Das Ende kommt; es kommt das Ende, es erwacht wider dich; siehe, es kommt!
7Es kommt das Verhängnis über dich, Bewohner des Landes; es kommt die Zeit, nahe ist der Tag; Getümmel und nicht Jubel auf den Bergen!
8Jetzt, bald werde ich meinen Grimm über dich ausgießen und meinen Zorn an dir vollenden, und dich nach deinen Wegen richten; und alle deine Greuel werde ich über dich bringen.
9Und mein Auge soll nicht schonen, und ich werde mich nicht erbarmen; nach deinen Wegen will ich's über dich bringen, und deine Greuel sollen in deiner Mitte sein. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich, Jehova, es bin, der schlägt. -
10Siehe, der Tag! Siehe, es kommt! Das Verhängnis wächst hervor; es blüht die Rute, es sproßt der Übermut;
11die Gewalttat erhebt sich zur Rute der Gesetzlosigkeit. Nichts von ihnen wird bleiben, nichts von ihrer Menge und nichts von ihrem Getümmel, und nichts Herrliches an ihnen.
12Die Zeit kommt, der Tag trifft ein! Der Käufer freue sich nicht, und der Verkäufer betrübe sich nicht; denn Zornglut kommt über seine ganze Menge.
13Denn der Verkäufer wird nicht wieder zu dem Verkauften gelangen, und wenn er auch noch am Leben wäre unter den Lebenden; denn das Gesicht wider seine ganze Menge wird nicht rückgängig werden, und niemand wird durch seine Ungerechtigkeit sein Leben befestigen.
14Man stößt in das Horn und macht alles bereit, aber niemand zieht in den Streit; denn meine Zornglut kommt über seine ganze Menge. -
15Das Schwert ist draußen und die Pest und der Hunger drinnen. Wer auf dem Felde ist, wird durchs Schwert sterben; und wer in der Stadt ist, den werden Hunger und Pest verzehren.
16Und wenn Entronnene von ihnen entrinnen, so werden sie auf den Bergen sein wie die Tauben der Täler, alle girrend, ein jeder wegen seiner Missetat.
17Alle Hände werden erschlaffen, und alle Knie werden zerfließen wie Wasser.
18Und sie werden sich Sacktuch umgürten, und Schauder wird sie bedecken, und auf allen Angesichtern wird Scham sein, und Kahlheit auf allen ihren Häuptern.
19Ihr Silber werden sie auf die Gassen werfen, und ihr Gold wird als Unflat gelten; ihr Silber und ihr Gold wird sie nicht erretten können am Tage des Grimmes Jehovas; ihren Hunger werden sie damit nicht stillen und ihren Bauch davon nicht füllen. Denn es ist ein Anstoß zu ihrer Missetat gewesen.
20Und seinen zierenden Schmuck, zur Hoffart hat es ihn gebraucht und ihre Greuelbilder, ihre Scheusale, haben sie daraus verfertigt; darum habe ich ihnen denselben zum Unflat gemacht.
21Und ich will ihn der Hand der Fremden zur Beute geben und den Gesetzlosen der Erde zum Raube, daß sie ihn entweihen.
22Und ich werde mein Angesicht von ihnen abwenden, daß sie meine verborgene Stätte entweihen; und Gewalttätige werden in dieselbe eindringen und sie entweihen.
23Verfertige die Kette! Denn das Land ist voll Blutschuld, und die Stadt voll Gewalttat.
24Und ich werde die bösesten der Nationen kommen lassen, daß sie ihre Häuser in Besitz nehmen; und ich werde der Hoffart der Starken ein Ende machen, daß ihre Heiligtümer entweiht werden.
25Schrecken kommt; und sie werden Frieden suchen, aber da ist keiner.
26Verderben auf Verderben wird kommen, und Gerücht auf Gerücht wird entstehen. Und sie werden von Propheten Gesichte suchen; aber das Gesetz wird dem Priester entschwinden und den Ältesten der Rat.
27Der König wird trauern, und der Fürst wird sich in Entsetzen kleiden, und die Hände des Volkes des Landes werden zittern. Nach ihren Wegen will ich mit ihnen handeln, und mit ihren Rechten will ich sie richten, und sie werden wissen, daß ich Jehova bin.

1Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
2Y tú, hijo del hombre, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á la tierra de Israel: El fin, el fin viene sobre los cuatro cantones de la tierra.
3Ahora será el fin sobre ti, y enviaré sobre ti mi furor, y te juzgaré según tus caminos; y pondré sobre ti todas tus abominaciones.
4Y mi ojo no te perdonará, ni tendré misericordia; antes pondré sobre ti tus caminos, y en medio de ti estarán tus abominaciones; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
5Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Un mal, he aquí que viene un mal.
6Viene el fin, el fin viene: hase despertado contra ti; he aquí que viene.
7La mañana viene para ti, oh morador de la tierra; el tiempo viene, cercano está el día; día de alboroto, y no de alegría sobre los montes.
8Ahora presto derramaré mi ira sobre ti, y cumpliré en ti mi furor, y te juzgaré según tus caminos; y pondré sobre ti tus abominaciones.
9Y mi ojo no perdonará, ni tendré misericordia: según tus caminos pondré sobre ti, y en medio de ti serán tus abominaciones; y sabréis que yo Jehová soy el que hiero.
10He aquí el día, he aquí que viene: ha salido la mañana; florecido ha la vara, ha reverdecido la soberbia.
11La violencia se ha levantado en vara de impiedad; ninguno quedará de ellos, ni de su multitud, ni uno de los suyos; ni habrá quien de ellos se lamente.
12El tiempo es venido, acercóse el día: el que compra, no se huelgue, y el que vende, no llore: porque la ira está sobre toda su multitud.
13Porque el que vende no tornará á lo vendido, aunque queden vivos: porque la visión sobre toda su multitud no será cancelada; y ninguno podrá, á causa de su iniquidad, amparar su vida.
14Tocarán trompeta, y aparejarán todas las cosas, y no habrá quien vaya á la batalla: porque mi ira está sobre toda su multitud.
15De fuera cuchillo, de dentro pestilencia y hambre: el que estuviere en el campo morirá á cuchillo; y al que estuviere en la ciudad, consumirálo hambre y pestilencia.
16Y los que escaparen de ellos, huirán y estarán sobre los montes como palomas de los valles, gimiendo todos cada uno por su iniquidad.
17Todas manos serán descoyuntadas, y declinarán como aguas todas rodillas.
18Ceñirse han también de sacos, y cubrirálos temblor; y en todo rostro habrá confusión, y en todas sus cabezas peladura.
19Arrojarán su plata por las calles, y su oro será desechado; su plata ni su oro, no podrá librarlos en el día del furor de Jehová; no saciarán su alma, ni henchirán sus entrañas: porque ha sido tropiezo para su maldad.
20Por cuanto la gloria de su ornamento pusieron en soberbia, é hicieron en ella imágenes de sus abominaciones, de sus estatuas: por eso se la torné á ellos en alejamiento;
21Y en mano de extraños la entregué para ser saqueada, y en despojo á los impíos de la tierra, y la contaminarán.
22Y apartaré de ellos mi rostro, y violarán mi lugar secreto; pues entrarán en él destruidores, y le profanarán.
23Haz una cadena: porque la tierra está llena de juicios de sangres, y la ciudad está llena de violencia.
24Traeré por tanto los más malos de las naciones, los cuales poseerán sus casas; y haré cesar la soberbia de los poderosos, y sus santuarios serán profanados.
25Destrucción viene; y buscarán la paz, y no la habrá.
26Quebrantamiento vendrá sobre quebrantamiento, y rumor será sobre rumor; y buscarán respuesta del profeta, mas la ley perecerá del sacerdote, y el consejo de los ancianos.
27El rey se enlutará, y el príncipe se vestirá de asolamiento, y las manos del pueblo de la tierra serán conturbadas: según su camino haré con ellos, y con los juicios de ellos los juzgaré; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

1Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
2Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
3Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
4And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
5Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
6An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.
7The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
8Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.
9And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.
10Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.
11Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
12The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
13For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
14They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
15The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
16But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
18They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
19They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
20As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
21And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
22My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
23Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
24Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
25Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
26Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
27The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

1Moreover the LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2“You, son of man, the Lord GOD says to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.
3Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.
4My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’
5“The Lord GOD says: ‘A disaster! A unique disaster! Behold, it comes.
6An end has come. The end has come! It awakes against you. Behold, it comes.
7Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land! The time has come! The day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.
8Now I will shortly pour out my wrath on you, and accomplish my anger against you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.
9My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways. Your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I, the LORD, strike.
10“‘Behold, the day! Behold, it comes! Your doom has gone out. The rod has blossomed. Pride has budded.
11Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them will remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There will be nothing of value among them.
12The time has come! The day draws near. Don’t let the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn; for wrath is on all its multitude.
13For the seller won’t return to that which is sold, although they are still alive; for the vision concerns the whole multitude of it. None will return. None will strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
