Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Tú, pues, oh hijo de hombre, atiende: Esto dice el Señor Dios a la tierra de Israel: El fin llega, ya llega el fin por todos los cuatro lados de este país.
Y tú, hijo del hombre, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á la tierra de Israel: El fin, el fin viene sobre los cuatro cantones de la tierra.
Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners of the land.
“You, son of man, the Lord GOD says to the land of Israel, ‘An end! The end has come on the four corners of the land.
Llega ahora el fin para ti, y yo derramaré sobre ti mi furor, y te juzgaré según tus procederes, y pondré delante de ti todas tus abominaciones.
Ahora será el fin sobre ti, y enviaré sobre ti mi furor, y te juzgaré según tus caminos; y pondré sobre ti todas tus abominaciones.
Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations.
Now the end is on you, and I will send my anger on you, and will judge you according to your ways. I will bring on you all your abominations.
Y no te miraré con ojos compasivos, ni tendré de ti misericordia; sino que pondré tus obras encima de ti, y en medio de ti tus abominaciones, y conoceréis que yo soy el Señor.
Y mi ojo no te perdonará, ni tendré misericordia; antes pondré sobre ti tus caminos, y en medio de ti estarán tus abominaciones; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.
And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
My eye will not spare you, neither will I have pity; but I will bring your ways on you, and your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’
Esto dice el Señor Dios: La aflicción única, la aflicción singularísima, he aquí que viene.
Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Un mal, he aquí que viene un mal.
Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come.
“The Lord GOD says: ‘A disaster! A unique disaster! Behold, it comes.
El fin llega, llega ya el fin: Se ha despertado contra ti; helo aquí que viene.

An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

Viene el exterminio sobre ti, que habitas esta tierra; llega ya el tiempo, cerca está el día de la mortandad, y no día de alborozo en los montes.
La mañana viene para ti, oh morador de la tierra; el tiempo viene, cercano está el día; día de alboroto, y no de alegría sobre los montes.
The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
Your doom has come to you, inhabitant of the land! The time has come! The day is near, a day of tumult, and not of joyful shouting, on the mountains.
Yo, pues, me acerco ya para derramar mi ira sobre ti, y desahogaré en ti el furor mío, y te castigaré según tus obras, y colocaré sobre ti todas tus maldades.
Ahora presto derramaré mi ira sobre ti, y cumpliré en ti mi furor, y te juzgaré según tus caminos; y pondré sobre ti tus abominaciones.
Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

Y no te miraré con ojos benignos, ni me apiadaré de ti, sino que te echaré a cuestas todas tus maldades, y pondré delante de ti tus abominaciones; y conoceréis que yo soy el Señor que castigo.
Y mi ojo no perdonará, ni tendré misericordia: según tus caminos pondré sobre ti, y en medio de ti serán tus abominaciones; y sabréis que yo Jehová soy el que hiero.
And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.
My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. I will punish you according to your ways. Your abominations will be among you. Then you will know that I, the LORD, strike.
He aquí el día, he aquí que ya llega, el exterminio viene ya, la vara del castigo floreció, la soberbia u obstinación ha echado sus ramas.

Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded.

La maldad produjo la vara del castigo de la impiedad. No escapará ninguno de ellos, ninguno del pueblo, ninguno de aquellos que hacen ruido; nunca gozarán de reposo.
La violencia se ha levantado en vara de impiedad; ninguno quedará de ellos, ni de su multitud, ni uno de los suyos; ni habrá quien de ellos se lamente.
Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of theirs: neither shall there be wailing for them.
Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness. None of them will remain, nor of their multitude, nor of their wealth. There will be nothing of value among them.
Llega el tiempo, se acreca el día; no tiene que alegrarse el que compra, ni que llorar el que vende; porque la ira del Señor va a descargar sobre todo su pueblo.
El tiempo es venido, acercóse el día: el que compra, no se huelgue, y el que vende, no llore: porque la ira está sobre toda su multitud.
The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

Pues el que vende, no volverá a adquirir lo vendido, aunque viva todavía, porque la visión que he tenido y comprende todo su pueblo, no quedará sin efecto; y ninguno se sostendrá por medio de las maldades de su vida.
Porque el que vende no tornará á lo vendido, aunque queden vivos: porque la visión sobre toda su multitud no será cancelada; y ninguno podrá, á causa de su iniquidad, amparar su vida.
For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

Se salvarán de ella aquellos que huyeren; y se irán a los montes como las palomas de los valles, todos temblando de miedo, cada uno por causa de su maldad.
Y los que escaparen de ellos, huirán y estarán sobre los montes como palomas de los valles, gimiendo todos cada uno por su iniquidad.
But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

Descoyuntados quedarán todos los brazos; y poseídos del miedo, se les irán las aguas rodillas abajo.

Arrojada será por la calle la plata de ellos, y entre la basura su oro. Pues ni su plata ni su oro podrán salvarlos en aquel día del furor del Señor, ni saciar su alma, ni llenar sus vientres, pues les ha servido de tropiezo en su maldad.

They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.

Haz la conclusión de esta dura profecía, porque está la tierra llena de delitos sanguinarios, y llena está la ciudad de maldades.

Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

Llegado que haya el día del exterminio, buscarán la paz, y no habrá paz;

sino que habrá disturbio sobre disturbio, y las malas nuevas se alcanzarán unas a otras; y preguntarán al profeta qué es lo que ha visto en sus visiones; mas ya no se hallará en los sacerdotes el conocimiento de la ley de Dios; ni en los ancianos ningún consejo atinado.
Quebrantamiento vendrá sobre quebrantamiento, y rumor será sobre rumor; y buscarán respuesta del profeta, mas la ley perecerá del sacerdote, y el consejo de los ancianos.

Sumergido quedará el rey en la aflicción, y cubiertos de tristeza los príncipes o magnates, y temblando de miedo las manos del pueblo. Los trataré yo como merecen, y los juzgaré según sus obras; y conocerán que yo soy el Señor.
