Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
Then he said to me, “Son of man, lift up your eyes now the way toward the north.” So I lifted up my eyes the way toward the north, and saw, northward of the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
Et il me dit: Fils de l’homme, vois-tu ce qu’ils font, les grandes abominations que commet ici la maison d’Israël, pour que je m’éloigne de mon sanctuaire? Mais tu verras encore d’autres grandes abominations.
Díjome entonces: Hijo del hombre, ¿no ves lo que éstos hacen, las grandes abominaciones que la casa de Israel hace aquí, para alejarme de mi santuario? Mas vuélvete aún, y verás abominaciones mayores.
He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you will again see yet other great abominations.”
Alors il me conduisit à l’entrée du parvis. Je regardai, et voici, il y avait un trou dans le mur.

J’entrai, et je regardai; et voici, il y avait toutes sortes de figures de reptiles et de bêtes abominables, et toutes les idoles de la maison d’Israël, peintes sur la muraille tout autour.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say, ‘The LORD doesn’t see us. The LORD has forsaken the land.’”
Et il me dit: Tu verras encore d’autres grandes abominations qu’ils commettent.
Díjome después: Vuélvete aún, verás abominaciones mayores que hacen éstos.
He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
He said also to me, “You will again see more of the great abominations which they do.”
Et il me conduisit à l’entrée de la porte de la maison de l’Éternel, du côté du septentrion. Et voici, il y avait là des femmes assises, qui pleuraient Thammuz.

Et il me conduisit dans le parvis intérieur de la maison de l’Éternel. Et voici, à l’entrée du temple de l’Éternel, entre le portique et l’autel, il y avait environ vingt-cinq hommes, tournant le dos au temple de l’Éternel et le visage vers l’orient; et ils se prosternaient à l’orient devant le soleil.
Y metióme en el atrio de adentro de la casa de Jehová: y he aquí junto á la entrada del templo de Jehová, entre la entrada y el altar, como veinticinco varones, sus espaldas vueltas al templo de Jehová y sus rostros al oriente, y encorvábanse al nacimiento del sol.
And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Et il me dit: Vois-tu, fils de l’homme? Est-ce trop peu pour la maison de Juda de commettre les abominations qu’ils commettent ici? Faut-il encore qu’ils remplissent le pays de violence, et qu’ils ne cessent de m’irriter? Voici, ils approchent le rameau de leur nez.
Y díjome: ¿No has visto, hijo del hombre? ¿Es cosa liviana para la casa de Judá hacer las abominaciones que hacen aquí? Después que han llenado la tierra de maldad, y se tornaron á irritarme, he aquí que ponen hedor á mis narices.
Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger. Behold, they put the branch to their nose.
Moi aussi, j’agirai avec fureur; mon œil sera sans pitié, et je n’aurai point de miséricorde; quand ils crieront à haute voix à mes oreilles, je ne les écouterai pas.
