Y sucedió en el año sexto, el sexto mes, el día cinco, que estando yo sentado en mi casa, estándolo alrededor mío los ancianos de Judá, súbito se hizo sentir sobre mí la virtud del Señor Dios.
Y ACONTECIÓ en el sexto año, en el mes sexto, á los cinco del mes, que estaba yo sentado en mi casa, y los ancianos de Judá estaban sentados delante de mí, y allí cayó sobre mí la mano del Señor Jehová.
And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.

Y miré, y he aquí la imagen de un hombre que parecía de fuego: Desde la cintura a los pies era todo fuego, y desde la cintura arriba era como una luz resplandeciente, como electro que brilla.
Y miré, y he aquí una semejanza que parecía de fuego: desde donde parecían sus lomos para abajo, fuego; y desde sus lomos arriba parecía como resplandor, como la vista de ámbar.
Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.

Y vi la figura de una mano extendida que me cogió de una guedeja de mi cabeza, y me levantó en espíritu entre cielo y tierra, y me llevó a Jerusalén en una visión maravillosa de Dios, junto a la puerta de adentro del templo, que miraba al norte, en donde estaba colocado el ídolo de los celos, o celotipia, para provocar los celos del Señor.
Y aquella semejanza extendió la mano, y tomóme por las guedejas de mi cabeza; y el espíritu me alzó entre el cielo y la tierra, y llevóme en visiones de Dios á Jerusalem, á la entrada de la puerta de adentro que mira hacia el aquilón, donde estaba la habitación de la imagen del celo, la que hacía celar.
And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

Y vi allí la gloria del Dios de Israel del modo que yo la había visto en la visión tenida en el campo.

Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, alza ahora tus ojos hacia el lado del aquilón. Y alcé mis ojos hacia el lado del aquilón, y he aquí al aquilón, junto á la puerta del altar, la imagen del celo en la entrada.
Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
Then he said to me, “Son of man, lift up your eyes now the way toward the north.” So I lifted up my eyes the way toward the north, and saw, northward of the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, ¿piensas acaso que ves tú lo que éstos hacen, las grandes abominaciones que comete aquí la casa de Israel para que yo me retire lejos de mi santuario? Pues si vuelves otra vez a mirar verás abominaciones mayores.
Díjome entonces: Hijo del hombre, ¿no ves lo que éstos hacen, las grandes abominaciones que la casa de Israel hace aquí, para alejarme de mi santuario? Mas vuélvete aún, y verás abominaciones mayores.
He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.
He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they do? Even the great abominations that the house of Israel commit here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? But you will again see yet other great abominations.”
Y me llevó a una salida del atrio, y miré, y había un agujero en la pared.
Y llevóme á la entrada del atrio, y miré, y he aquí en la pared un agujero.

Me dijo entonces: Entra y observa las pésimas abominaciones que cometen éstos aquí.
Díjome luego: Entra, y ve las malvadas abominaciones que éstos hacen allí.
And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.

Y habiendo entrado, miré; y he aquí figuras de toda especie de reptiles y de animales; y la abominación de la familia de Israel, y todos sus ídolos estaban pintados por todo el alrededor de la pared.
Entré pues, y miré, y he aquí imágenes de todas serpientes, y animales de abominación, y todos los ídolos de la casa de Israel, que estaban pintados en la pared alrededor.
So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.

Y setenta hombres de los ancianos de la familia de Israel estaban en pie delante de las pinturas, y en medio de ellos Jezonías, hijo de Safán, teniendo cada uno de ellos un incensario en la mano, y el incienso levantaba tanto humo que parecía una niebla.
Y delante de ellos estaban setenta varones de los ancianos de la casa de Israel, y Jaazanías hijo de Saphán estaba en medio de ellos, cada uno con su incensario en su mano; y del sahumerio subía espesura de niebla.
And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

Y él me dijo: Hijo de hombre, bien ves tú lo que están haciendo los ancianos de la casa de Israel, en la oscuridad, cada cual en lo escondido de su aposento; porque dicen ellos: No, no nos ve el Señor, desamparó el Señor la tierra.
Y me dijo: Hijo del hombre, ¿has visto las cosas que los ancianos de la casa de Israel hacen en tinieblas, cada uno en sus cámaras pintadas? porque dicen ellos: No nos ve Jehová; Jehová ha dejado la tierra.
Then said he unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The LORD seeth us not; the LORD hath forsaken the earth.
Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say, ‘The LORD doesn’t see us. The LORD has forsaken the land.’”
Y me añadió: Aun, volviéndote a otra parte, verás peores abominaciones que las que éstos cometen.
Díjome después: Vuélvete aún, verás abominaciones mayores que hacen éstos.
He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.
He said also to me, “You will again see more of the great abominations which they do.”
Y me llevó a la entrada de la puerta del templo del Señor, que caía al norte, y vi a unas mujeres que estaban allí sentadas llorando a Adonis.
Y llevóme á la entrada de la puerta de la casa de Jehová, que está al aquilón; y he aquí mujeres que estaban allí sentadas endechando á Tammuz.
Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.
Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? You will again see yet greater abominations than these.”
Y me introdujo en el atrio interior del templo del Señor, y he aquí que vi en la puerta del templo del Señor, entre el vestíbulo y el altar, como unos veinticinco hombres que tenían sus espaldas vueltas al templo del Señor, y las caras hacia el oriente, adorando al sol que nacía.
Y metióme en el atrio de adentro de la casa de Jehová: y he aquí junto á la entrada del templo de Jehová, entre la entrada y el altar, como veinticinco varones, sus espaldas vueltas al templo de Jehová y sus rostros al oriente, y encorvábanse al nacimiento del sol.
And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

Y me dijo: Ya lo has visto, ¡oh hijo de hombre! Pues, ¿es cosa de poco momento para la casa de Judá cometer esas abominaciones que han hecho aquí, que aun después de haber llenado de iniquidad la tierra, se han empleado en irritarme? Y he aquí que aplican un ramo a su olfato.
Y díjome: ¿No has visto, hijo del hombre? ¿Es cosa liviana para la casa de Judá hacer las abominaciones que hacen aquí? Después que han llenado la tierra de maldad, y se tornaron á irritarme, he aquí que ponen hedor á mis narices.
Then he said unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? For they have filled the land with violence, and have turned again to provoke me to anger. Behold, they put the branch to their nose.
Ahora, pues, yo también los trataré con rigor, no se enternecerán mis ojos, ni usaré de misericordia; y por más que levantaren el grito para que los oiga, yo no los escucharé.
Pues también yo haré en mi furor; no perdonará mi ojo, ni tendré misericordia, y gritarán á mis oídos con gran voz, y no los oiré.
Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
Therefore I will also deal in wrath. My eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity. Though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet I will not hear them.”
