Ezequiel 9

Então eu o ouvi clamar em alta voz: “Venham! Aproximem-se os homens convocados para destruir esta cidade. Venham armados e prontos para o combate!”

Y CLAMÓ en mis oídos con gran voz, diciendo: Los visitadores de la ciudad han llegado, y cada uno trae en su mano su instrumento para destruir.

He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

Then he cried in my ears with a loud voice, saying, “Cause those who are in charge of the city to draw near, each man with his destroying weapon in his hand.”

Em resposta ao seu chamado, surgiram seis homens vindos pelo portão superior, do lado norte. Cada um deles estava armado com um machado de guerra, e no meio dos seis guerreiros havia um homem vestido de linho. Na sua cintura levava material para escrever. Eles entraram no templo e ficaram ao lado do altar de bronze.

Y he aquí que seis varones venían del camino de la puerta de arriba que está vuelta al aquilón, y cada uno traía en su mano su instrumento para destruir. Y entre ellos había un varón vestido de lienzos, el cual traía á su cintura una escribanía de escribano; y entrados, paráronse junto al altar de bronce.

And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.

Behold, six men came from the way of the upper gate, which lies toward the north, every man with his slaughter weapon in his hand. One man in the middle of them was clothed in linen, with a writer’s inkhorn by his side. They went in, and stood beside the bronze altar.

Nisso, a glória do Deus de Israel abandonou o lugar onde havia ficado até então, acima dos querubins no lugar santo, e se moveu para a entrada do templo. Então o Senhor chamou o homem vestido de linho que levava o material de escrever

Y la gloria del Dios de Israel se alzó de sobre el querubín sobre el cual había estado, al umbral de la casa: y llamó Jehová al varón vestido de lienzos, que tenía á su cintura la escribanía de escribano.

And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer’s inkhorn by his side;

e disse a ele: “Dê uma volta pelas ruas de Jerusalém, e faça um sinal na testa de todas as pessoas que choram e gemem de tristeza por causa de todos esses horríveis pecados que o povo anda cometendo”.

Y díjole Jehová: Pasa por medio de la ciudad, por medio de Jerusalem, y pon una señal en la frente á los hombres que gimen y que claman á causa de todas las abominaciones que se hacen en medio de ella.

And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

The LORD said to him, “Go through the middle of the city, through the middle of Jerusalem, and set a mark on the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry over all the abominations that are done within it.”

Ouvi também quando ele ordenou aos outros seis: “Vão atrás dele e matem, sem dó nem piedade, todas as pessoas cuja testa não esteja marcada.

Y á los otros dijo á mis oídos: Pasad por la ciudad en pos de él, y herid; no perdone vuestro ojo, ni tengáis misericordia.

And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:

To the others he said in my hearing, “Go through the city after him, and strike. Don’t let your eye spare, neither have pity.

Matem a todos — velhos, rapazes, moças, mulheres e crianças —, acabem com eles! Mas não toquem nas pessoas que tiverem a marca na testa. Comecem o seu trabalho aqui mesmo com as autoridades que estão na frente do meu templo!”

Matad viejos, mozos y vírgenes, niños y mujeres, hasta que no quede ninguno: mas á todo aquel sobre el cual hubiere señal, no llegaréis; y habéis de comenzar desde mi santuario. Comenzaron pues desde los varones ancianos que estaban delante del templo.

Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Kill utterly the old man, the young man, the virgin, little children and women; but don’t come near any man on whom is the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” Then they began at the old men who were before the house.

Então o Senhor ordenou: “Deixem o templo imundo de sangue; encham de mortos o pátio! Agora saiam pelas ruas de Jerusalém!” Os guerreiros saíram e mataram muita gente na cidade.

Y díjoles: Contaminad la casa, y henchid los atrios de muertos: salid. Y salieron, é hirieron en la ciudad.

And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

He said to them, “Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” They went out, and struck in the city.

Quando eles terminaram de cumprir as ordens, fiquei sozinho no templo. Então eu me ajoelhei, abaixei o rosto até o chão e, chorando, perguntei: “Ah, Soberano Senhor! Será que o Senhor vai destruir todo o povo de Israel, lançando a sua ira contra Jerusalém?”

Y aconteció que, habiéndolos herido, yo quedé y postréme sobre mi rostro, y clamé, y dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿has de destruir todo el resto de Israel derramando tu furor sobre Jerusalem?

And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?

While they were killing, and I was left, I fell on my face, and cried, and said, “Ah Lord GOD! Will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

Ele me respondeu: “Os pecados e desobediências de Israel e Judá são grandes demais. A terra está cheia de derramamento de sangue de gente inocente; a injustiça é que manda em Jerusalém. Eles dizem para si mesmos: ‘O Senhor abandonou o seu povo; ele não vê o que fazemos’.

Y díjome: La maldad de la casa de Israel y de Judá es grande sobremanera, pues la tierra está llena de sangres, y la ciudad está llena de perversidad: porque han dicho: Dejado ha Jehová la tierra, y Jehová no ve.

Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.

Then he said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion; for they say, ‘The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD doesn’t see.’

Por isso eu não terei misericórdia deles, não terei pena. Devolverei todo o mal que fizeram, castigarei Israel por todos os seus pecados, um a um”.

Así pues, yo, mi ojo no perdonará, ni tendré misericordia: el camino de ellos tornaré sobre su cabeza.

And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

As for me also, my eye won’t spare, neither will I have pity, but I will bring their way on their head.”

Então o homem que carregava o estojo de escrivão apresentou-se ao Senhor e disse: “Já cumpri as suas ordens!”

Y he aquí que el varón vestido de lienzos, que tenía la escribanía á su cintura, respondió una palabra diciendo: Hecho he conforme á todo lo que me mandaste.

And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.
