16Este fue el plan que se siguió: El sacerdote Esdras y algunos jefes de familia fueron designados como jueces para resolver cada caso. Comenzaron la tarea el primer día del mes décimo, y el primer día del mes primero ya habían resuelto todos los casos de quienes se habían casado con mujeres extranjeras.

16E hicieron así los hijos de la transmigración. Y apartados que fueron luego Esdras sacerdote, y los varones cabezas de familias en la casa de sus padres, todos ellos por sus nombres, sentáronse el primer día del mes décimo para inquirir el negocio.

16And the children of the captivity did so. And Ezra the priest, with certain chief of the fathers, after the house of their fathers, and all of them by their names, were separated, and sat down in the first day of the tenth month to examine the matter.
