2Entonces respondió Secanías, hijo de Jehiel, uno de los hijos de Elam, y dijo a Esdras: Nosotros hemos prevaricado contra nuestro Dios, pues tomamos esposas extranjeras de los pueblos de la tierra; pero aún hay esperanza para Israel sobre esto.

2And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.
