Da stund Esra auf und nahm einen Eid von den obersten Priestern und Leviten und dem ganzen Israel, daü sie nach diesem Wort tun sollten. Und sie schwuren.

Entonces se levantó Esdras, y juramentó á los príncipes de los sacerdotes y de los Levitas, y á todo Israel, que harían conforme á esto; y ellos juraron.

Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware.
