8En el segundo mes del segundo año después de haber llegado al lugar del templo de Dios en Jerusalén, Zorobabel hijo de Salatiel y Jesúa hijo de Josadac iniciaron los trabajos con el resto de sus parientes: los sacerdotes, los levitas y todos los que habían regresado del cautiverio. Nombraron a los levitas mayores de veinte años para supervisar la construcción del templo de Yahvé.

8Y en el año segundo de su venida á la casa de Dios en Jerusalem, en el mes segundo, comenzaron Zorobabel hijo de Sealthiel, y Jesuá hijo de Josadec, y los otros sus hermanos, los sacerdotes y los Levitas, y todos los que habían venido de la cautividad á Jerusalem; y pusieron á los Levitas de veinte años arriba para que tuviesen cargo de la obra de la casa de Jehová.

8Now in the second year of their coming unto the house of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, began Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and the remnant of their brethren the priests and the Levites, and all they that were come out of the captivity unto Jerusalem; and appointed the Levites, from twenty years old and upward, to set forward the work of the house of the LORD.
