Nun sei dem König mitgeteilt (gemeldet, kundgetan): {dass} Wenn diese Stadt wieder aufgebaut wird und die Mauern (Wälle) fertiggestellt sind, werden sie keine Steuern, keine Tribute (Naturalienzahlungen, Ertragsabgaben) und keine Abgaben (Zölle, Grundsteuern) mehr entrichten, und das wird dem König sicherlich (schließlich; der Schatzkammer) schaden.
Ahora, notorio sea al rey, que si aquella ciudad fuere reedificada, y los muros fueren establecidos, el tributo, pecho, y rentas no darán, y el catastro de lo reyes será menoscabado.
Be it known now unto the king, that, if this city be builded, and the walls set up again, then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings.
