Wir machen also den König darauf aufmerksam, daß, wenn diese Stadt wieder aufgebaut wird und ihre Mauern wiederhergestellt werden, du infolgedessen nicht im Besitz der Länder jenseits des Euphrats verbleiben wirst.«

Hacemos saber al rey, que si esta ciudad fuere edificada, y erigidos sus muros, la parte allá del río no será tuya.

We certify the king that, if this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river.

We inform the king that if this city is built and the walls finished, then you will have no possession beyond the River.
