23Non appena la copia della lettera del re Artaserse fu letta in presenza di Rehum, di Scimshai il segretario, e dei loro colleghi, essi andarono in fretta a Gerusalemme dai Giudei, e li obbligarono, a mano armata, a sospendere i lavori.
