17Agora, portanto, se parecer bem ao rei, que se faça uma busca na casa dos tesouros do rei, que está lá na Babilônia, para ver se é verdade que um decreto foi feito pelo rei Ciro para construir esta casa de Deus em Jerusalém; e que o rei nos envie a sua vontade a respeito deste assunto.

17Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalem, y envíenos á decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto.

17Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
