Esdras 5

Alors Aggée le Prophète, et Zacharie, fils de Hiddo le Prophète, prophétisaient aux Juifs qui étaient en Juda et à Jérusalem, au Nom du Dieu d’Israël, qui les avait envoyés vers eux.

Y PROFETIZARON Haggeo profeta, y Zacarías hijo de Iddo, profetas, á los Judíos que estaban en Judá y en Jerusalem yendo en nombre del Dios de Israel á ellos.

Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them.

Now the prophets, Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem. They prophesied to them in the name of the God of Israel.

Et Zorobabel fils de Salathiel, et Jésuah fils de Jotsadak, se levèrent et commencèrent à rebâtir la maison de Dieu, qui habite à Jérusalem ; et ils avaient avec eux les Prophètes de Dieu, qui les aidaient.

Entonces se levantaron Zorobabel hijo de Sealthiel, y Jesuá hijo de Josadec; y comenzaron á edificar la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem; y con ellos los profetas de Dios que les ayudaban.

Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.

En ce temps-là Tattenaï, Gouverneur de deçà le fleuve, et Sétharboznaï, et leurs compagnons vinrent à eux et leur parlèrent ainsi : Qui vous a donné ordre de rebâtir cette maison, et de fonder ces murailles ?

En aquel tiempo vino á ellos Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Sethar-boznai y sus compañeros, y dijéronles así: ¿Quién os dió mandamiento para edificar esta casa, y restablecer estos muros?

At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shethar-boznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?

At the same time Tattenai, the governor beyond the River, came to them, with Shetharbozenai and their companions, and asked them, “Who gave you a decree to build this house and to finish this wall?”

Et ils leur parlèrent aussi en cette manière : Quels sont les noms des hommes qui bâtissent cet édifice ?

Entonces les dijimos en orden á esto cuáles eran los nombres de los varones que edificaban este edificio.

Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building?

They also asked for the names of the men who were making this building.

Mais parce que sur les Anciens des Juifs était l’oeil de leur Dieu, on ne les fit point cesser, jusqu’à ce que l’affaire parvint à Darius, et qu’alors ils rapportassent des Lettres sur cela.

Mas los ojos de su Dios fueron sobre los ancianos de los Judíos, y no les hicieron cesar hasta que el negocio viniese á Darío: y entonces respondieron por carta sobre esto.

But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.

La teneur des Lettres que Tattenaï Gouverneur de deçà le fleuve, et Sétharboznaï, et ses compagnons Apharsékiens, qui étaient de deçà le fleuve, envoyèrent au Roi Darius.

Traslado de la carta que Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Sethar-boznai, y sus compañeros los Apharsachêos, que estaban á la parte allá del río, enviaron al rey Darío.

The copy of the letter that Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shethar-boznai, and his companions the Apharsachites, which were on this side the river, sent unto Darius the king:

The copy of the letter that Tattenai, the governor beyond the River, and Shetharbozenai, and his companions the Apharsachites who were beyond the River, sent to Darius the king follows.

Ils lui envoyèrent une relation du fait, et il y avait ainsi écrit : Toute paix soit au Roi Darius.

Enviáronle carta, y de esta manera estaba escrito en ella. Al rey Darío toda paz.

They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace.

Que le Roi soit averti que nous sommes allés en la province de Judée, vers la maison du grand Dieu, laquelle on bâtit de grosses pierres, et même la charpenterie est posée aux parois, et cet édifice se bâtit en diligence, et s’avance entre leurs mains.

Sea notorio al rey, que fuimos á la provincia de Judea, á la casa del gran Dios, la cual se edifica de piedra de mármol; y los maderos son puestos en las paredes, y la obra se hace apriesa, y prospera en sus manos.

Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands.

Et nous avons interrogé les Anciens qui étaient là, et nous leur avons parlé ainsi : Qui vous a donné ordre de rebâtir cette maison, et de fonder ces murailles ?

Entonces preguntamos á los ancianos, diciéndoles así: ¿Quién os dió mandamiento para edificar esta casa, y para restablecer estos muros?

Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?

Then we asked those elders, and said to them thus, “Who gave you a decree to build this house, and to finish this wall?”

Et nous leur avons aussi demandé leurs noms, pour les faire savoir au Roi, afin que nous écrivissions les noms des principaux d’entr’eux.

Y también les preguntamos sus nombres para hacértelo saber, para escribirte los nombres de los varones que estaban por cabezas de ellos.

We asked their names also, to certify thee, that we might write the names of the men that were the chief of them.

Et ils nous ont répondu de cette manière, disant : Nous sommes les serviteurs du Dieu des cieux et de la terre, et nous rebâtissons la maison qui avait été bâtie ci-devant il y a longtemps, laquelle un grand Roi d’Israël avait bâtie et fondée.

Y respondiéronnos, diciendo así: Nosotros somos siervos del Dios del cielo y de la tierra, y reedificamos la casa que ya muchos años antes había sido edificada, la cual edificó y fundó el gran rey de Israel.

And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.

Mais après que nos pères eurent provoqué à la colère le Dieu des cieux, il les livra entre les mains de Nébucadnetsar Roi de Babylone, Caldéen, qui détruisit cette maison, et qui transporta le peuple à Babylone.

Mas después que nuestros padres ensañaron al Dios de los cielos, él los entregó en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, Caldeo, el cual destruyó esta casa, é hizo trasportar el pueblo á Babilonia.

But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.

Mais en la première année de Cyrus, Roi de Babylone, le Roi Cyrus commanda qu’on rebâtît cette maison de Dieu.

Empero el primer año de Ciro rey de Babilonia, el mismo rey Ciro dió mandamiento para que esta casa de Dios fuese edificada.

But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.

Et même le Roi Cyrus tira hors du Temple de Babylone les vaisseaux d’or et d’argent de la maison de Dieu, que Nébucadnetsar avait emportés du Temple qui était à Jérusalem, et qu’il avait apportés au Temple de Babylone, et ils furent délivrés à un nommé Sesbatsar, lequel il avait établi Gouverneur.

Y también los vasos de oro y de plata de la casa de Dios, que Nabucodonosor había sacado del templo que estaba en Jerusalem, y los había metido en el templo de Babilonia, el rey Ciro los sacó del templo de Babilonia, y fueron entregados á Sesbassar, al cual había puesto por gobernador;

And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;

Et il lui dit : Prends ces ustensiles, et t’en va, et fais-les porter au Temple qui était à Jérusalem ; et que la maison de Dieu soit rebâtie en sa place.

Y le dijo: Toma estos vasos, ve y ponlos en el templo que está en Jerusalem; y la casa de Dios sea edificada en su lugar.

And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in his place.

Alors ce Sesbatsar vint, et posa les fondements de la maison de Dieu, qui habite à Jérusalem ; et depuis ce temps-là jusqu’à présent, on la bâtit, et elle n’est point encore achevée.

Entonces este Sesbassar vino, y puso los fundamentos de la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem, y desde entonces hasta ahora se edifica, y aun no está acabada.

Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished.

Maintenant donc, s’il semble bon au Roi, qu’on cherche dans la maison des trésors du Roi laquelle est à Babylone, s’il est vrai qu’il y ait eu un ordre donné par Cyrus de rebâtir cette maison de Dieu à Jérusalem ; et que le Roi nous fasse savoir sa volonté sur cela.

Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalem, y envíenos á decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto.

Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
