Esdras 5

Es weissagten aber der Prophet Haggai und der Prophet Sacharja, der Sohn Iddos, den Juden in Juda und Jerusalem im Namen des Gottes Israels, dessen Geist über ihnen war.

Y PROFETIZARON Haggeo profeta, y Zacarías hijo de Iddo, profetas, á los Judíos que estaban en Judá y en Jerusalem yendo en nombre del Dios de Israel á ellos.

Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them.

Now the prophets, Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem. They prophesied to them in the name of the God of Israel.

Daraufhin machten sich Serubbabel, der Sohn Sealthiels, und Jesua, der Sohn Jozadaks, daran, den Bau des Gotteshauses in Jerusalem aufs neue in Angriff zu nehmen, und mit ihnen waren die (beiden) Propheten Gottes, welche sie unterstützten.

Entonces se levantaron Zorobabel hijo de Sealthiel, y Jesuá hijo de Josadec; y comenzaron á edificar la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem; y con ellos los profetas de Dios que les ayudaban.

Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.

Zu jener Zeit kamen Thathnai, der Statthalter der Provinz diesseits des Euphrats, und Sethar-Bosnai und deren Genossen zu ihnen und richteten die Frage an sie: »Wer hat euch die Erlaubnis gegeben, dieses Haus zu bauen und diese Mauer wiederherzustellen,

En aquel tiempo vino á ellos Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Sethar-boznai y sus compañeros, y dijéronles así: ¿Quién os dió mandamiento para edificar esta casa, y restablecer estos muros?

At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shethar-boznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?

At the same time Tattenai, the governor beyond the River, came to them, with Shetharbozenai and their companions, and asked them, “Who gave you a decree to build this house and to finish this wall?”

und welches sind die Namen der Männer, die diesen Bau betreiben?«

Entonces les dijimos en orden á esto cuáles eran los nombres de los varones que edificaban este edificio.

Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building?

They also asked for the names of the men who were making this building.

Aber das Auge ihres Gottes war auf die Ältesten der Juden gerichtet, so daß (jene) von ihnen nicht die Einstellung der Arbeit verlangten, bis ein Befehl des Darius vorläge und man ihnen dann einen schriftlichen Bescheid darüber zugehen ließe.

Mas los ojos de su Dios fueron sobre los ancianos de los Judíos, y no les hicieron cesar hasta que el negocio viniese á Darío: y entonces respondieron por carta sobre esto.

But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.

Abschrift des Berichts, den Thathnai, der Statthalter der Provinz diesseits des Euphrats, und Sethar-Bosnai und seine Genossen, die Apharsachäer, die in der Provinz diesseits des Euphrats wohnten, an den König Darius sandten.

Traslado de la carta que Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Sethar-boznai, y sus compañeros los Apharsachêos, que estaban á la parte allá del río, enviaron al rey Darío.

The copy of the letter that Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shethar-boznai, and his companions the Apharsachites, which were on this side the river, sent unto Darius the king:

Sie sandten nämlich einen Bericht an ihn, dessen Wortlaut folgender war: »Dem König Darius alles Heil!

Enviáronle carta, y de esta manera estaba escrito en ella. Al rey Darío toda paz.

They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace.

Es sei dem Könige zu wissen getan, daß wir uns in die Landschaft Juda zum Hause des großen Gottes begeben haben; es wird aus Quadersteinen erbaut, und in die Wände werden Balken eingelegt; diese Arbeit wird eifrig betrieben und geht unter ihren Händen erfolgreich vonstatten.

Sea notorio al rey, que fuimos á la provincia de Judea, á la casa del gran Dios, la cual se edifica de piedra de mármol; y los maderos son puestos en las paredes, y la obra se hace apriesa, y prospera en sus manos.

Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands.

Da haben wir an die Ältesten dort die Frage gerichtet: ›Wer hat euch den Befehl gegeben, dieses Haus zu bauen und diese Mauer wiederherzustellen?‹

Entonces preguntamos á los ancianos, diciéndoles así: ¿Quién os dió mandamiento para edificar esta casa, y para restablecer estos muros?

Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?

Und auch nach ihren Namen haben wir sie gefragt, um sie dir mitzuteilen, indem wir die Namen der Männer aufschrieben, die an ihrer Spitze stehen.

Y también les preguntamos sus nombres para hacértelo saber, para escribirte los nombres de los varones que estaban por cabezas de ellos.

We asked their names also, to certify thee, that we might write the names of the men that were the chief of them.

Und folgendes ist die Auskunft, die sie uns gegeben haben: ›Wir sind die Knechte des Gottes des Himmels und der Erde und bauen das Haus wieder auf, das ehedem vor vielen Jahren hier gestanden hat und das ein großer israelitischer König erbaut und aufgeführt hatte.

Y respondiéronnos, diciendo así: Nosotros somos siervos del Dios del cielo y de la tierra, y reedificamos la casa que ya muchos años antes había sido edificada, la cual edificó y fundó el gran rey de Israel.

And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.

Weil aber unsere Väter den Gott des Himmels erzürnt hatten, hat er sie der Gewalt des Königs Nebukadnezar von Babylon, des Chaldäers, preisgegeben; der hat dieses Haus zerstört und das Volk gefangen nach Babylon geführt.

Mas después que nuestros padres ensañaron al Dios de los cielos, él los entregó en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, Caldeo, el cual destruyó esta casa, é hizo trasportar el pueblo á Babilonia.

Doch im ersten Jahre der Regierung des Königs Kores über Babylon hat der König Kores den Befehl gegeben, dieses Gotteshaus wieder aufzubauen.

Empero el primer año de Ciro rey de Babilonia, el mismo rey Ciro dió mandamiento para que esta casa de Dios fuese edificada.

Auch die goldenen und silbernen Geräte des Gotteshauses, die Nebukadnezar aus dem Tempel zu Jerusalem weggenommen und in (seinen) Tempel zu Babylon gebracht hatte, hat der König Kores aus dem Tempel zu Babylon hervornehmen lassen und sie einem Manne namens Sesbazzar ausgeliefert, den er zum Statthalter (in Judäa) eingesetzt hatte,

Y también los vasos de oro y de plata de la casa de Dios, que Nabucodonosor había sacado del templo que estaba en Jerusalem, y los había metido en el templo de Babilonia, el rey Ciro los sacó del templo de Babilonia, y fueron entregados á Sesbassar, al cual había puesto por gobernador;

And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;

indem er diesem auftrug: Nimm diese Geräte, gehe hin und lege sie im Tempel zu Jerusalem nieder; das Gotteshaus aber soll an seiner früheren Stelle wieder aufgebaut werden!

Y le dijo: Toma estos vasos, ve y ponlos en el templo que está en Jerusalem; y la casa de Dios sea edificada en su lugar.

And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in his place.

Daraufhin ist der betreffende Sesbazzar hergekommen und hat den Grundstein zum Gotteshause in Jerusalem gelegt; und seit jener Zeit wird bis heute daran gebaut, es ist aber noch nicht vollendet.‹

Entonces este Sesbassar vino, y puso los fundamentos de la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem, y desde entonces hasta ahora se edifica, y aun no está acabada.

Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished.

Demnach möge man, wenn es dem Könige beliebt, im königlichen Schatzhause dort in Babylon nachforschen, ob es sich wirklich so verhält, daß vom Könige Kores der Befehl gegeben worden ist, dieses Gotteshaus in Jerusalem wieder aufzubauen. Der König wolle uns dann seine Entscheidung in dieser Sache zukommen lassen.«

Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalem, y envíenos á decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto.

Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
