Esdras 5

Damals (und) sprachen (wirkten, prophezeiten, traten als Propheten auf) die Propheten Haggai und Sacharja, der Sohn Iddos, gegenüber den (zu, über, gegen die) Juden {, die} in Juda (Jehud) und {in} Jerusalem Prophezeiungen (eine Prophezeiung) aus im Namen des Gottes Israels, †der über ihnen †war.

Y PROFETIZARON Haggeo profeta, y Zacarías hijo de Iddo, profetas, á los Judíos que estaban en Judá y en Jerusalem yendo en nombre del Dios de Israel á ellos.

Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them.

Now the prophets, Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem. They prophesied to them in the name of the God of Israel.

Da (sofort) rafften sich (erhoben sich) Serubbabel, der Sohn Schealtiëls, und Jeschua, der Sohn Jozadaks auf und begannen, das Haus Gottes {, das} in Jerusalem wiederaufzubauen, und mit ihnen †waren auch die Propheten Gottes, †die sie unterstützten.

Entonces se levantaron Zorobabel hijo de Sealthiel, y Jesuá hijo de Josadec; y comenzaron á edificar la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem; y con ellos los profetas de Dios que les ayudaban.

Then rose up Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and began to build the house of God which is at Jerusalem: and with them were the prophets of God helping them.

Zu jener Zeit (Damals) kam Tattenai, der Statthalter †der Provinz Transeuphrat („Jenseits des Stroms (Flusses)“) und Schetar-Bosnai mit (und) ihren Amtskollegen (Mitarbeitern) zu ihnen und fragten (sagten) sie Folgendes: „Wer hat euch Befehl erteilt, dieses Gebäude (Haus) zu bauen und dieses Baugerüst anzufertigen (fertigzustellen)?“

En aquel tiempo vino á ellos Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Sethar-boznai y sus compañeros, y dijéronles así: ¿Quién os dió mandamiento para edificar esta casa, y restablecer estos muros?

At the same time came to them Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shethar-boznai, and their companions, and said thus unto them, Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?

At the same time Tattenai, the governor beyond the River, came to them, with Shetharbozenai and their companions, and asked them, “Who gave you a decree to build this house and to finish this wall?”

Dann fragten (sagten) sie (wir) sie weiter (Folgendes): „Was sind die Namen der Männer, die dieses Gebäude bauen?“

Entonces les dijimos en orden á esto cuáles eran los nombres de los varones que edificaban este edificio.

Then said we unto them after this manner, What are the names of the men that make this building?

They also asked for the names of the men who were making this building.

Aber (und) das Auge ihres Gottes ruhte (war) auf den Ältesten der Juden, sodass (und) sie sie nicht †an der Arbeit hinderten (zum Einstellen †ihrer Arbeit zwangen), bis der Bericht zu Darius gelangt war und dann ein Schreiben bezüglich dieser Angelegenheit eingetroffen sei (†die Boten ein Schreiben ... zurückgebracht hätten).

Mas los ojos de su Dios fueron sobre los ancianos de los Judíos, y no les hicieron cesar hasta que el negocio viniese á Darío: y entonces respondieron por carta sobre esto.

But the eye of their God was upon the elders of the Jews, that they could not cause them to cease, till the matter came to Darius: and then they returned answer by letter concerning this matter.

But the eye of their God was on the elders of the Jews, and they didn’t make them cease until the matter should come to Darius, and an answer should be returned by letter concerning it.

†Dies ist eine Abschrift (Kopie) des Briefes, den Tattenai, der Statthalter †der Provinz Transeuphrat („Jenseits des Stromes (Flusses)“), mit (und) Schetar-Bosnai und ihren Mitarbeitern (Amtskollegen), den Justizbeamten (Ermittlern; Apharsachitern) an den König Darius sandte.

Traslado de la carta que Tatnai, capitán de la parte allá del río, y Sethar-boznai, y sus compañeros los Apharsachêos, que estaban á la parte allá del río, enviaron al rey Darío.

The copy of the letter that Tatnai, governor on this side the river, and Shethar-boznai, and his companions the Apharsachites, which were on this side the river, sent unto Darius the king:

Sie sandten ihm den Bericht und darin (in dessen Inneren) hieß (lautete, stand) †es wie folgt: „ Dem König Darius †wünschen wir völligen (allen) Frieden!

Enviáronle carta, y de esta manera estaba escrito en ella. Al rey Darío toda paz.

They sent a letter unto him, wherein was written thus; Unto Darius the king, all peace.

Dem König sei mitgeteilt (gemeldet, kundgetan), dass wir in die Provinz Juda zum Haus des großen Gottes gereist (gekommen, gegangen) sind. {und} Es wird †gerade mit Quadersteinen wieder aufgebaut und Holz†balken werden in die Wände gelegt (gesetzt). {und} Diese Arbeit wird sorgfältig (mit großem Eifer) ausgeführt und macht in ihren Händen große Fortschritte.

Sea notorio al rey, que fuimos á la provincia de Judea, á la casa del gran Dios, la cual se edifica de piedra de mármol; y los maderos son puestos en las paredes, y la obra se hace apriesa, y prospera en sus manos.

Be it known unto the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is builded with great stones, and timber is laid in the walls, and this work goeth fast on, and prospereth in their hands.

Da befragten (verhörten) wir diese Ältesten und fragten (sagten) sie Folgendes: »Wer hat euch Befehl erteilt, dieses Gebäude (Haus) zu bauen und dieses Baugerüst anzufertigen (fertigzustellen)?«

Entonces preguntamos á los ancianos, diciéndoles así: ¿Quién os dió mandamiento para edificar esta casa, y para restablecer estos muros?

Then asked we those elders, and said unto them thus, Who commanded you to build this house, and to make up these walls?

Then we asked those elders, and said to them thus, “Who gave you a decree to build this house, and to finish this wall?”

{und} Außerdem befragten (verhörten) wir sie †nach ihren Namen, um sie dir mitzuteilen (melden), weil (um) wir die Namen der Männer aufschreiben wollten (sodass wir ... konnten), die ihre Anführer (Häupter) †sind.

Y también les preguntamos sus nombres para hacértelo saber, para escribirte los nombres de los varones que estaban por cabezas de ellos.

We asked their names also, to certify thee, that we might write the names of the men that were the chief of them.

Und sie gaben uns die folgende Antwort {sagend}: »Wir sind Diener des Gottes des Himmels und der Erde und erbauen das Haus, das einmal †vor sehr vielen Jahren †hier gestanden hat (gebaut war). {und} Ein großer König Israels baute und vollendete es.

Y respondiéronnos, diciendo así: Nosotros somos siervos del Dios del cielo y de la tierra, y reedificamos la casa que ya muchos años antes había sido edificada, la cual edificó y fundó el gran rey de Israel.

And thus they returned us answer, saying, We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and build the house that was builded these many years ago, which a great king of Israel builded and set up.

Weil jedoch unsere Vorfahren (Väter) den Gott des Himmels zornig machten, gab er sie in die Hand (Gewalt) Nebukadnezzars, des Königs von Babel, dem Chaldäer, und er zerstörte dieses Haus {es} und verschleppte (führte in die Verbannung) das Volk nach Babel.

Mas después que nuestros padres ensañaron al Dios de los cielos, él los entregó en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, Caldeo, el cual destruyó esta casa, é hizo trasportar el pueblo á Babilonia.

But after that our fathers had provoked the God of heaven unto wrath, he gave them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, the Chaldean, who destroyed this house, and carried the people away into Babylon.

Empero el primer año de Ciro rey de Babilonia, el mismo rey Ciro dió mandamiento para que esta casa de Dios fuese edificada.

But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.

{und} Außerdem nahm der König Kyrus die Gefäße (Geräte) des Hauses Gottes aus Gold uns Silber, die Nebukadnezzar aus dem Tempel (Palast) {, der} in Jerusalem weggenommen und {sie} zum Tempel (Palast) von Babel gebracht hatte, aus dem Tempel (Palast) von Babel weg und sie wurden †einem Mann namens Scheschbazzar übergeben, den er †zum Sonderbevollmächtigten (Statthalter) ernannt hatte (ernannte).

Y también los vasos de oro y de plata de la casa de Dios, que Nabucodonosor había sacado del templo que estaba en Jerusalem, y los había metido en el templo de Babilonia, el rey Ciro los sacó del templo de Babilonia, y fueron entregados á Sesbassar, al cual había puesto por gobernador;

And the vessels also of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple that was in Jerusalem, and brought them into the temple of Babylon, those did Cyrus the king take out of the temple of Babylon, and they were delivered unto one, whose name was Sheshbazzar, whom he had made governor;

{Und} Er sagte zu ihm: »Nimm diese Gefäße (Geräte) {geh} †und bringe (lagere) sie in den Tempel von Jerusalem! {Und} Das Haus Gottes soll an seinem †ursprünglichen Ort wieder aufgebaut werden.«

Y le dijo: Toma estos vasos, ve y ponlos en el templo que está en Jerusalem; y la casa de Dios sea edificada en su lugar.

And said unto him, Take these vessels, go, carry them into the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let the house of God be builded in his place.

He said to him, ‘Take these vessels, go, put them in the temple that is in Jerusalem, and let God’s house be built in its place.’

Daraufhin kam jener Scheschbazzar †nach Jerusalem und legte die Fundamente des Hauses Gottes {, das} in Jerusalem, und von da an {und} bis jetzt wird daran gebaut (war es im Bau) und ist nicht zu Ende gebracht worden.«

Entonces este Sesbassar vino, y puso los fundamentos de la casa de Dios que estaba en Jerusalem, y desde entonces hasta ahora se edifica, y aun no está acabada.

Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the foundation of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished.

Wenn †es dem König gut †erscheint, sollten deshalb (nun) im Schatzhaus des Königs dort {das} in Babel Nachforschungen angestellt werden, ob es einen vom König Kyrus erteilten Befehl gibt, dieses Haus Gottes in Jerusalem wiederaufzubauen (zu bauen). Und den Willen (die Entscheidung) des Königs hinsichtlich dieser Angelegenheit sollte †man (er) an uns übermitteln (senden).“

Y ahora, si al rey parece bien, búsquese en la casa de los tesoros del rey que está allí en Babilonia, si es así que por el rey Ciro había sido dado mandamiento para edificar esta casa de Dios en Jerusalem, y envíenos á decir la voluntad del rey sobre esto.

Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the king’s treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.
