Porque Esdras tinha decidido em seu coração buscar a lei do SENHOR, e a praticar; e ensinar a Israel seus estatutos e juízos.

Porque Esdras había preparado su corazón para inquirir la ley de Jehová, y para hacer y enseñar á Israel mandamientos y juicios.

For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

For Ezra had set his heart to seek the LORD’s law, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.
