Esdras 8

Os decretos do rei foram entregues aos representantes dele e aos governadores de todas as províncias situadas a oeste do rio Eufrates, que ajudaram na reconstrução do templo de Deus.

Y dieron los despachos del rey á sus gobernadores y capitanes del otro lado del río, los cuales favorecieron al pueblo y á la casa de Dios.

And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.

They delivered the king’s commissions to the king’s local governors and to the governors beyond the River. So they supported the people and God’s house.
