*Et voici les chefs des pères et la généalogie de ceux qui montèrent avec moi de Babylone, sous le règne du roi Artaxerxès :

Y ESTOS son los cabezas de sus familias, y genealogía de aquellos que subieron conmigo de Babilonia, reinando el rey Artajerjes:

These are now the chief of their fathers, and this is the genealogy of them that went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king.

et des fils d’Azgad, Jokhanan, fils d’Hakkatan, et avec lui 110 hommes ;

And of the last sons of Adonikam, whose names are these, Eliphelet, Jeiel, and Shemaiah, and with them threescore males.

et des fils de Bigvaï, Uthaï et Zabbud, et avec eux 70 hommes.

Y de los hijos de Bigvai, Utai y Zabud, y con ellos sesenta varones.

Et je les rassemblai vers le fleuve qui s’en va vers Ahava, et nous avons campé là trois jours ; et je considérai le peuple et les sacrificateurs, et je n’y trouvai aucun des fils de Lévi.

Y juntélos junto al río que viene á Ahava, y reposamos allí tres días: y habiendo buscado entre el pueblo y entre los sacerdotes, no hallé allí de los hijos de Leví.

And I gathered them together to the river that runneth to Ahava; and there abode we in tents three days: and I viewed the people, and the priests, and found there none of the sons of Levi.

Entonces despaché á Eliezer, y á Ariel, y á Semaías, y á Elnathán, y á Jarib, y á Elnathán, y á Nathán, y á Zacarías, y á Mesullam, principales; asimismo á Joiarib y á Elnathán, hombres doctos;

Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.

et je les envoyai à Iddo, qui était chef dans la localité †appelée Casiphia, et je mis dans leurs bouches des paroles pour les dire à Iddo †et à ses frères, les Nethiniens, dans la localité †appelée Casiphia, pour nous amener des serviteurs pour la maison de notre Dieu.

Y enviélos á Iddo, jefe en el lugar de Casipia, y puse en boca de ellos las palabras que habían de hablar á Iddo, y á sus hermanos los Nethineos en el lugar de Casipia, para que nos trajesen ministros para la casa de nuestro Dios.

And I sent them with commandment unto Iddo the chief at the place Casiphia, and I told them what they should say unto Iddo, and to his brethren the Nethinims, at the place Casiphia, that they should bring unto us ministers for the house of our God.

Et ils nous amenèrent, selon que la bonne main de notre Dieu était sur nous, un homme intelligent d’entre les fils de Makhli, fils de Lévi, fils d’Israël, et Shérébia et ses fils et ses frères, †au nombre de 18 ;

Y trajéronnos, según la buena mano de nuestro Dios sobre nosotros, un varón entendido de los hijos de Mahalí, hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel; y á Serabías con sus hijos y sus hermanos, dieciocho;

And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;

et Hashabia, et avec lui Ésaïe, d’entre les fils de Merari, ses frères et leurs fils, †au nombre de 20 ;

Y á Hasabías, y con él á Isaía de los hijos de Merari, á sus hermanos y á sus hijos, veinte;

And Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brethren and their sons, twenty;

and Hashabiah, and with him Jeshaiah of the sons of Merari, his brothers and their sons, twenty;

et des Nethiniens, que David et les princes avaient donnés pour le service des lévites, 220 Nethiniens, tous désignés par †leurs noms.

Y de los Nethineos, á quienes David con los príncipes puso para el ministerio de los Levitas, doscientos y veinte Nethineos: todos los cuales fueron declarados por sus nombres.

Also of the Nethinims, whom David and the princes had appointed for the service of the Levites, two hundred and twenty Nethinims: all of them were expressed by name.

and of the temple servants, whom David and the princes had given for the service of the Levites, two hundred twenty temple servants. All of them were mentioned by name.

Et là, près du fleuve Ahava, je publiai un jeûne, pour nous humilier devant notre Dieu, pour lui demander le vrai chemin, pour nous et pour nos enfants, et pour tout notre avoir.

Y publiqué ayuno allí junto al río de Ahava, para afligirnos delante de nuestro Dios, para solicitar de él camino derecho para nosotros, y para nuestros niños, y para toda nuestra hacienda.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

Car j’avais honte de demander au roi des forces et de la cavalerie pour nous aider en chemin contre l’ennemi ; car nous avions parlé au roi, en disant : La main de notre Dieu est en bien sur tous ceux qui le cherchent ; et sa force et sa colère sont contre tous ceux qui l’abandonnent.

Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropa y gente de á caballo que nos defendiesen del enemigo en el camino: porque habíamos hablado al rey, diciendo: La mano de nuestro Dios es para bien sobre todos los que le buscan; mas su fortaleza y su furor sobre todos los que le dejan.

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

Et nous avons jeûné, et nous avons demandé cela à notre Dieu, et il nous exauça.

Ayunamos pues, y pedimos á nuestro Dios sobre esto, y él nos fué propicio.

So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.

Et je séparai douze des chefs des sacrificateurs, Shérébia, Hashabia, et dix de leurs frères avec eux,

Then I separated twelve of the chief of the priests, Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brethren with them,

Then I set apart twelve of the chiefs of the priests, even Sherebiah, Hashabiah, and ten of their brothers with them,

et je leur pesai l’argent et l’or, et les ustensiles, l’offrande pour la maison de notre Dieu, qu’avaient offerte le roi, et ses conseillers, et ses princes, et tout Israël qui se trouvait là.

Y peséles la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, la ofrenda que para la casa de nuestro Dios habían ofrecido el rey, y sus consultores, y sus príncipes, y todos los que se hallaron en Israel.

And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:

Et je pesai en leurs mains 650 talents d’argent, et en ustensiles d’argent 100 talents, †et en or 100 talents,

Pesé pues en manos de ellos seiscientos y cincuenta talentos de plata, y vasos de plata por cien talentos, y cien talentos de oro;

I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;

I weighed into their hand six hundred fifty talents of silver, one hundred talents of silver vessels, one hundred talents of gold,

et 20 coupes d’or valant 1 000 dariques, et deux vases d’airain d’un beau brillant, précieux comme l’or.

Además veinte tazones de oro, de mil dracmas; y dos vasos de metal limpio muy bueno, preciados como el oro.

Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.

twenty bowls of gold weighing one thousand darics, and two vessels of fine bright bronze, precious as gold.

Et je leur dis : Vous êtes saints, †consacrés à l’Éternel, et les ustensiles sont saints, et l’argent et l’or sont une offrande volontaire à l’Éternel, le Dieu de vos pères.

Y díjeles: Vosotros sois consagrados á Jehová, y santos los vasos; y la plata y el oro ofrenda voluntaria á Jehová, Dios de nuestros padres.

And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

I said to them, “You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy. The silver and the gold are a free will offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

Veillez, et gardez-les jusqu’à ce que vous les pesiez devant les chefs des sacrificateurs et des lévites, et devant les chefs des pères d’Israël à Jérusalem, dans les chambres de la maison de l’Éternel.

Velad, y guardadlos, hasta que los peséis delante de los príncipes de los sacerdotes y Levitas, y de los jefes de los padres de Israel en Jerusalem, en las cámaras de la casa de Jehová.

Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

Watch and keep them until you weigh them before the chiefs of the priests, the Levites, and the princes of the fathers’ households of Israel at Jerusalem, in the rooms of the LORD’s house.”

Et les sacrificateurs et les lévites reçurent au poids l’argent et l’or, et les ustensiles, pour les porter à Jérusalem, à la maison de notre Dieu.

Los sacerdotes pues y Levitas recibieron el peso de la plata y del oro y de los vasos, para traerlo á Jerusalem á la casa de nuestro Dios.

So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

Et nous sommes partis du fleuve Ahava le douzième †jour du premier mois, pour aller à Jérusalem. Et la main de notre Dieu fut sur nous, et il nous délivra de la main de l’ennemi et de †toute embûche sur le chemin.

Y partimos del río de Ahava el doce del mes primero, para ir á Jerusalem: y la mano de nuestro Dios fué sobre nosotros, el cual nos libró de mano de enemigo y de asechador en el camino.

Then we departed from the river of Ahava on the twelfth day of the first month, to go unto Jerusalem: and the hand of our God was upon us, and he delivered us from the hand of the enemy, and of such as lay in wait by the way.

Al cuarto día fué luego pesada la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, en la casa de nuestro Dios, por mano de Meremoth hijo de Urías sacerdote, y con él Eleazar hijo de Phinees; y con ellos Jozabad hijo de Jesuá, y Noadías hijo de Binnui, Levitas;

Now on the fourth day was the silver and the gold and the vessels weighed in the house of our God by the hand of Meremoth the son of Uriah the priest; and with him was Eleazar the son of Phinehas; and with them was Jozabad the son of Jeshua, and Noadiah the son of Binnui, Levites;

selon le nombre †et selon le poids du tout ; et en même temps tout le poids en fut inscrit.

Por cuenta y por peso todo: y se apuntó todo aquel peso en aquel tiempo.

By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.

Les fils de la transportation qui étaient revenus de la captivité présentèrent des holocaustes au Dieu d’Israël, douze taureaux pour tout Israël, 96 béliers, 77 agneaux, douze boucs en sacrifice pour le péché, le tout en holocauste à l’Éternel.

Los que habían venido de la cautividad, los hijos de la transmigración, ofrecieron holocaustos al Dios de Israel, doce becerros por todo Israel, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos, doce machos cabríos por expiación: todo en holocausto á Jehová.

Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.

The children of the captivity, who had come out of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering. All this was a burnt offering to the LORD.

Et ils remirent les édits du roi aux satrapes du roi et aux gouverneurs de ce côté du fleuve, et ceux-ci donnèrent leur appui au peuple et à la maison de Dieu.

Y dieron los despachos del rey á sus gobernadores y capitanes del otro lado del río, los cuales favorecieron al pueblo y á la casa de Dios.

And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.

They delivered the king’s commissions to the king’s local governors and to the governors beyond the River. So they supported the people and God’s house.
