Folgendes ist das Verzeichnis der Familienhäupter nebst der Angabe ihrer Geschlechtszugehörigkeit, nämlich derer, die unter der Regierung des Königs Arthasastha mit mir von Babylon (nach Jerusalem) hinaufgezogen sind:

Y ESTOS son los cabezas de sus familias, y genealogía de aquellos que subieron conmigo de Babilonia, reinando el rey Artajerjes:

Ich ließ sie dann an dem Flusse, der nach Ahawa fließt, zusammenkommen, und wir lagerten dort drei Tage lang. Als ich da nun wohl das Volk und die Priester wahrnahm, aber von den Leviten keinen einzigen dort fand,

Entonces despaché á Eliezer, y á Ariel, y á Semaías, y á Elnathán, y á Jarib, y á Elnathán, y á Nathán, y á Zacarías, y á Mesullam, principales; asimismo á Joiarib y á Elnathán, hombres doctos;

Then sent I for Eliezer, for Ariel, for Shemaiah, and for Elnathan, and for Jarib, and for Elnathan, and for Nathan, and for Zechariah, and for Meshullam, chief men; also for Joiarib, and for Elnathan, men of understanding.

und beauftragte sie, sich zu Iddo, dem Vorsteher in der Ortschaft Kasiphja, zu begeben; dabei gab ich ihnen genau die Worte an, die sie an Iddo und seine Genossen in der Ortschaft Kasiphja richten sollten, nämlich daß sie uns Diener für das Haus unseres Gottes zuführen möchten.

Y enviélos á Iddo, jefe en el lugar de Casipia, y puse en boca de ellos las palabras que habían de hablar á Iddo, y á sus hermanos los Nethineos en el lugar de Casipia, para que nos trajesen ministros para la casa de nuestro Dios.

Da brachten sie uns, weil die gütige Hand unsers Gottes über uns waltete, einen einsichtsvollen Mann von den Nachkommen Mahlis, des Sohnes Levis, des Sohnes Israels, nämlich Serebja samt seinen Söhnen und Genossen, 18 an der Zahl,

Y trajéronnos, según la buena mano de nuestro Dios sobre nosotros, un varón entendido de los hijos de Mahalí, hijo de Leví, hijo de Israel; y á Serabías con sus hijos y sus hermanos, dieciocho;

And by the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of understanding, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;

ferner Hasabja und mit ihm Jesaja von den Nachkommen Meraris samt ihren Genossen und deren Söhnen, 20 Mann;

und von den Tempelhörigen, die David und die Fürsten den Leviten zu Dienstleistungen überwiesen hatten, 220 Mann; sie sind alle mit Namen verzeichnet.

Y de los Nethineos, á quienes David con los príncipes puso para el ministerio de los Levitas, doscientos y veinte Nethineos: todos los cuales fueron declarados por sus nombres.

Ich ließ nun dort am Flusse Ahawa ein Fasten ausrufen, damit wir uns vor unserm Gott demütigten, um von ihm eine glückliche Reise für uns und unsere Familien und für alle unsere Habe zu erflehen.

Y publiqué ayuno allí junto al río de Ahava, para afligirnos delante de nuestro Dios, para solicitar de él camino derecho para nosotros, y para nuestros niños, y para toda nuestra hacienda.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

Ich hatte mich nämlich geschämt, den König um eine bewaffnete Mannschaft und um Reiter zu bitten, die uns unterwegs gegen Feinde hätten schützen können; wir hatten vielmehr dem Könige erklärt: »Die Hand unsers Gottes waltet über allen, die ihn suchen, zu ihrem Heil, aber seine Macht und sein Zorn trifft alle, die ihn verlassen.«

Porque tuve vergüenza de pedir al rey tropa y gente de á caballo que nos defendiesen del enemigo en el camino: porque habíamos hablado al rey, diciendo: La mano de nuestro Dios es para bien sobre todos los que le buscan; mas su fortaleza y su furor sobre todos los que le dejan.

For I was ashamed to require of the king a band of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy in the way: because we had spoken unto the king, saying, The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and his wrath is against all them that forsake him.

So fasteten wir denn und flehten unsern Gott in dieser Sache um Hilfe an, und er ließ sich von uns erbitten.

Ayunamos pues, y pedimos á nuestro Dios sobre esto, y él nos fué propicio.

Hierauf wählte ich aus den obersten Priestern zwölf aus, ferner auch Serebja und Hasabja und mit ihnen zehn von ihren Genossen,

und wog ihnen das Silber und das Gold und die Geräte dar, das Weihgeschenk für das Haus unsers Gottes, das der König samt seinen Räten und Würdenträgern sowie alle dort wohnhaften Israeliten gespendet hatten.

Y peséles la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, la ofrenda que para la casa de nuestro Dios habían ofrecido el rey, y sus consultores, y sus príncipes, y todos los que se hallaron en Israel.

And weighed unto them the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, even the offering of the house of our God, which the king, and his counsellors, and his lords, and all Israel there present, had offered:

Ich wog ihnen also in ihre Hand dar: an Silber 650 Talente, an silbernen Geräten 100 Talente, an Gold 100 Talente;

Pesé pues en manos de ellos seiscientos y cincuenta talentos de plata, y vasos de plata por cien talentos, y cien talentos de oro;

I even weighed unto their hand six hundred and fifty talents of silver, and silver vessels an hundred talents, and of gold an hundred talents;

ferner 20 goldene Becher im Werte von 1000 Goldstücken und zwei Gefäße von Golderz, kostbar wie Gold.

Además veinte tazones de oro, de mil dracmas; y dos vasos de metal limpio muy bueno, preciados como el oro.

Also twenty basons of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.

Dabei sagte ich zu ihnen: »Ihr seid dem HERRN heilig, und die Geräte sind auch heilig, und das Silber und das Gold ist ein Weihgeschenk für den HERRN, den Gott eurer Väter.

Y díjeles: Vosotros sois consagrados á Jehová, y santos los vasos; y la plata y el oro ofrenda voluntaria á Jehová, Dios de nuestros padres.

And I said unto them, Ye are holy unto the LORD; the vessels are holy also; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering unto the LORD God of your fathers.

I said to them, “You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy. The silver and the gold are a free will offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.

Seid also wachsam und hütet es, bis ihr es vor den obersten Priestern und Leviten und den obersten Familienhäuptern der Israeliten zu Jerusalem in den Zellen des Tempels des HERRN darwägen könnt!«

Velad, y guardadlos, hasta que los peséis delante de los príncipes de los sacerdotes y Levitas, y de los jefes de los padres de Israel en Jerusalem, en las cámaras de la casa de Jehová.

Watch ye, and keep them, until ye weigh them before the chief of the priests and the Levites, and chief of the fathers of Israel, at Jerusalem, in the chambers of the house of the LORD.

Darauf nahmen die Priester und die Leviten das ihnen zugewogene Silber und Gold und die Geräte in Empfang, um sie nach Jerusalem in das Haus unsers Gottes zu bringen.

Los sacerdotes pues y Levitas recibieron el peso de la plata y del oro y de los vasos, para traerlo á Jerusalem á la casa de nuestro Dios.

So took the priests and the Levites the weight of the silver, and the gold, and the vessels, to bring them to Jerusalem unto the house of our God.

Hierauf brachen wir am zwölften Tage des ersten Monats vom Flusse Ahawa auf, um nach Jerusalem zu ziehen; und die Hand unsers Gottes beschützte uns, und er behütete uns vor (Angriffen von) Feinden und Straßenräubern.

So kamen wir denn in Jerusalem an und ruhten dort drei Tage lang aus.

Am vierten Tage aber wurden das Silber und das Gold und die Geräte im Hause unsers Gottes dem Priester Meremoth, dem Sohne Urias, in die Hand dargewogen – außer diesem war noch Eleasar, der Sohn des Pinehas, zugegen und außer diesen beiden noch die Leviten Josabad, der Sohn Jesuas, und Noadja, der Sohn Binnuis –;

Al cuarto día fué luego pesada la plata, y el oro, y los vasos, en la casa de nuestro Dios, por mano de Meremoth hijo de Urías sacerdote, y con él Eleazar hijo de Phinees; y con ellos Jozabad hijo de Jesuá, y Noadías hijo de Binnui, Levitas;

alles wurde damals gezählt und nachgewogen und das Gesamtgewicht aufgeschrieben. –

Por cuenta y por peso todo: y se apuntó todo aquel peso en aquel tiempo.

By number and by weight of every one: and all the weight was written at that time.

Als dann die aus der Gefangenschaft heimgekehrten Verbannten dem Gott Israels Brandopfer dargebracht hatten, nämlich 12 Stiere für ganz Israel, 96 Widder, 77 Lämmer und zum Sündopfer 12 Böcke, das alles als Brandopfer für den HERRN,

Los que habían venido de la cautividad, los hijos de la transmigración, ofrecieron holocaustos al Dios de Israel, doce becerros por todo Israel, noventa y seis carneros, setenta y siete corderos, doce machos cabríos por expiación: todo en holocausto á Jehová.

Also the children of those that had been carried away, which were come out of the captivity, offered burnt offerings unto the God of Israel, twelve bullocks for all Israel, ninety and six rams, seventy and seven lambs, twelve he goats for a sin offering: all this was a burnt offering unto the LORD.

The children of the captivity, who had come out of exile, offered burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven lambs, and twelve male goats for a sin offering. All this was a burnt offering to the LORD.

übergaben sie die Befehle des Königs den königlichen Satrapen und Statthaltern der Provinz auf der Westseite des Euphrats, worauf diese das Volk und das Gotteshaus unterstützten.

Y dieron los despachos del rey á sus gobernadores y capitanes del otro lado del río, los cuales favorecieron al pueblo y á la casa de Dios.

And they delivered the king’s commissions unto the king’s lieutenants, and to the governors on this side the river: and they furthered the people, and the house of God.

They delivered the king’s commissions to the king’s local governors and to the governors beyond the River. So they supported the people and God’s house.
